Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced a new collaboration with MUNCH to add iconic artworks by Edvard Munch to Samsung Art Store. The digital collection makes 37 masterpieces such as “The Scream,” “The Dance of Life” and “Melancholy” — as well as several rare works from the museum’s collection — available to millions of users around the world.

Alongside Munch’s iconic masterpieces, the collection offers a more intimate view of Edvard Munch’s artistry with rarely seen works such as “Garden with Trees” and “Two People at Table.” These works are part of a collection of treasures preserved in the museum’s archives, many of which must be kept in carefully controlled environments to protect them from further deterioration. Their condition makes them too vulnerable for public display, even at the museum in Oslo.

“This collaboration is an exciting opportunity to share Edvard Munch’s art with audiences beyond the museum’s walls in Oslo,” said Tone Hansen, Director of MUNCH. “Through Samsung’s global reach and Art TV technology, we can make Munch’s work more accessible to people around the world, and we are incredibly honored to collaborate with Samsung on this meaningful initiative.”

Samsung Electronics is giving K-Pop fans a new way to experience the front-row energy of live SM Entertainment concerts from home – no ticket required. Building on the exclusive livestream of SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in L.A., Samsung TV Plus is expanding its collaboration with SM Entertainment to bring monthly concert broadcasts from popular SM artists to Samsung TVs and compatible Samsung devices through its subscription-free service[1].

Featuring an upgraded AI Wash & Dry + cycle, 10 Star Energy Rating Hybrid Heat Pump drying performance[1], and a 68 minute Super Speed cycle[2], the 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is designed to help Australian households unlock time and energy savings, while delivering a more convenient connected home experience[3].

Under certain conditions, the Super Speed cycle can complete a full wash-to-dry cycle in 68 minutes, helping Australians reduce total laundry time without compromising performance[5].

Super Speed leverages a high-pressure Speed Spray and Swirl+ Drum that helps detergent penetration and rinsing to enable fast and efficient washing, while the newly incorporated Booster Heat Exchanger delivers drying performance using Heat Pump technology.

To promote smarter care, AI Energy Mode via SmartThings[6] helps the 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo consume up to 20% less energy during the wash cycle and up to 10% less energy during the dry cycle when compared to using the same cycle without AI Energy Mode[7]. Upgraded AI Wash & Dry + Enables More Precise, Automatic Optimisation

At the core of the all-in-one experience, the 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo integrates AI Wash & Dry +[9], upgrading the intelligence that supports smart optimisation of washing & drying. Using enhanced sensing and AI-based analysis, AI Wash & Dry + uses multiple sensors to optimise performance for each load. It detects the weight to determine the right amount of water and detergent, identifies five fabric types for smaller laundry loads[10] – including Outdoor and Denim – and monitors soil levels in real time to adjust the cycle for better results with less manual input.

The 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo also features Auto Open Door+[11], which not only automatically opens the door, but also activates internal air circulation[12] after wash-only cycles to help prevent laundry left in the drum from developing a musty odour.

A More Advanced Bixby Brings Natural, Conversational Control to the Home

The 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo also features a more advanced Bixby[13] experience. Since 2024, Bixby has enabled Bespoke Combo users to monitor and control connected Samsung devices directly from its AI Home Touchscreen display[14], helping families handle everyday routines across the home. While loading laundry, a user could say, “turn on the TV in the living room” without needing to leave the laundry area.

Vision AI Companion Brings Smarter, More Immersive Viewing

Vision AI Companion (VAC) brings together Samsung’s broadest range of AI service platforms, including Bixby, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot, to make the TV experience more intelligent and personalised.[7] Designed to work alongside users as an entertainment companion, VAC can help guide what to watch, what to eat, and what to listen to, extending the role of the TV beyond viewing alone.[8]

Unlike AI designed for individual devices and users, Samsung Vision AI Companion is purpose-built for the communal TV screen[9] using various LLMs, including Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity to share visualised, intelligent responses adapted to Australian questions and requests[10]. An upgraded version of Bixby sits at the core of Vision AI Companion which enables more natural dialogue, deeper contextual understanding, and personalised responses.

Samsung insights show that shared experiences with family around the TV is particularly important for Australians, with half of respondents claiming their TV brings their family closer together for quality time[11]. In fact, 45% of respondents say the TV enables them to spend more time together[12], while 41% of respondents say the TV enables them to share passions and interests[13] with their families.

Samsung’s AI TV lineup also brings AI-enhanced entertainment features to movies, sports and gaming:

Micro RGB expands Samsung’s premium TV experience across a wider range of screen sizes, bringing highly precise colour, brightness and immersive AI-powered viewing to a large portion of Australian consumers. Available in the R95H and R85H series in sizes from 55 to 115 inches[19], Micro RGB is built on Samsung’s proprietary Micro RGB Technology, which uses individually controlled red, green and blue micro-sized LEDs[20] to deliver highly precise light control, richer detail and more natural colour.[21]

OLED: Expanding the Lineup for More Viewing Preferences

Samsung’s 2026 OLED TVs include the S95H, S90H and S85H, offering deep blacks, rich colour, immersive performance and refined design across a wider range of viewing preferences. Certified Glare-Free technology – previously available only on the S95F model – now expands to both the S95H and the S90H, helping the display’s true blacks and rich colours stay clear and undisturbed, even in bright rooms[30].

On the flagship S95H, Samsung adds premium features designed to elevate both entertainment and art, and is Wireless One Connect ready for a clutter-free finish.[31] Pantone Validated ArtfulColor helps preserve the authenticity of original artwork with faithful colour and exceptional detail, while Art Store extends Samsung’s art experiences to OLED. Designed to bring sound and art together, the Music Studio 7 delivers powerful 3.1.1 channel audio, creating rich, clear sound that fills spaces with depth and character. Samsung adds 8TB models to its SSD 870 EVO SATA III 2.5 inch

Samsung Electronics, a world leader in advanced memory technology, has today announced the pricing and availability of a new 8TB capacity SSD 870 EVO SATA III 2.5 inch. The 8TB model joins the existing Samsung 870 EVO range, which includes 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB capacities, providing Australian IT professionals, general PC users, and Network Attached Storage (NAS) users with expanded options to scale their storage environments.

The 8TB 870 EVO achieves sequential read and write speeds of up to 560MB/s and 530MB/s respectively[1], helping to maximise the performance limits of the SATA interface for fast uploads for games, large media files, or demanding projects. The SSD is further enhanced by Samsung’s Intelligent TurboWrite technology which accelerates write speeds and maintains long-term high performance with a larger variable buffer.

Leveraging Samsung’s fully integrated approach to SSD design, the 8TB 870 EVO SATA III 2.5-inch incorporates the company’s 6th Generation V-NAND and MKX controller to help ensure a stable host experience. The drive delivers up to 4,800 TBW under a 5-year limited warranty,[2] supporting use cases ranging from everyday computing to intensive workloads such as 4K and 8K video processing.

The 870 EVO maintains broad system compatibility, having undergone interoperability testing across major host environments, including leading chipsets, motherboards, NAS platforms and video recording systems.[3] It is designed to support devices equipped with a standard 2.5-inch SATA interface, enabling straightforward integration into desktops, laptops and compatible storage systems.

For long-term peace of mind, the 8TB 870 EVO SATA is also supported by Samsung Magician software which offers an integrative drive health check to help maintain optimal SSD performance.
