Samsung Australia has today announced an update to its cordless stick vacuum range, with the Jet 95S now available Australia. Designed to deliver reliable suction power in a light weight form for enhanced usability and improved hygiene; the Jet 95S is the ideal solution for the over three-quarters of Australian families who like to grab a vacuum and spot clean their floors throughout the day to ‘keep on top of things’ around the house[1].

Designed with quick and accessible suction power at its core, the Jet 95S delivers up to 280W of suction power[2] providing up to 33% more suction than its predecessor, the Jet 95[3]. Powered by an enhanced motor and paired with a long-lasting battery, the Jet 95S provides up to 60 minutes of cleaning time[4], delivering strong, consistent, and smart cleaning performance for a wide range of tasks around the home.

“The Jet 95S is designed to be a reliable household companion that is always at the ready for busy Australians to grab for a quick clean of the floor or a longer deep clean,” said Rachel Carter, Head of Home Appliances, Samsung Australia. “Every design feature, from how light it is to hold and maneuver to the ability for it to pause when left idle, or automatically adjust to floor types, is to make everyday life easier for Australians.”

The launch of the Jet 95S comes as Samsung releases new consumer insights which reveal many Australians feel the time they spend doing small household chores each day has significantly increased in the last 12 months[5]. Interestingly, for over two-thirds of Australians, the increase in daily tasks is based on a belief that cleaning their home is good for their mental wellness and helps to reduce overall stress[6].

“Samsung noticed a behaviour shift during COVID lockdown whereby Australians started to undertake smaller chores throughout the day and over a week to avoid needing to do one big deep clean on the weekend. We referred to it as ‘Chore Snacking’,’ said Ms. Carter. “Five years on, while our routines have evolved and technology innovations have progressed to support faster paced lifestyles, almost half of Australians continue to chip away at chores like vacuuming daily. Their goal is to avoid doing one long and arduous deep clean on the weekend, freeing up that time to spend doing things they love with those they love[7].”

Powerful and Smart Control

To promote hygiene and cleaner air in the home, the Jet 95S is equipped with a HEPA filtration system, helping to capture and trap up to 99.99% of fine dust particles[8]. The model also comes with the Jet Dual brush+, designed for effective dust pickup across various floor types, while a built-in steel scraper helps remove tangled hair from the brush to reduce maintenance effort.

Notably, the Jet 95S introduces new cleaning modes for Australians who value convenience. Using the Smart Motion Cleaning mode,[9] when the vacuum detects a “stop” status,[10] such as being placed on the floor or leaned against a wall, it automatically pauses to prevent unnecessary operation. Then, if the user picks it up or moves it again within a minute, it instantly restarts without the need to press any buttons or make manual adjustments, ensuring a smooth and effortless cleaning experience every time.

With the Smart Boost,[11] the vacuum cleaner can automatically detect carpeted or similar surfaces[12] and increase suction power accordingly to provide proper cleaning performance without manual adjustment. Once the floor is clean, Australians can store the Jet 95S on its freestanding station, which has a slim design that keeps attachment brushes neatly organised while fully charging the battery in just 3.5 hours[13].

To ensure Australians don’t miss a spot, the Jet 95S comes with two brushes and four attachments plus a telescopic wand. In addition to the Jet Dual Brush+, the Slim LED Brush with LED lighting in the front, anti-tangle roller and slim design, helps to deliver a thorough clean, even in dark spaces like under furniture. Specialised accessories that come in-the-box include the Pet Tool+, Combination Tool, Extension Crevice Tool and Flexible Tool, which work together to reach dust and debris in narrow, high, and obscure places, on various surfaces.

Led by Cheolgi Kim, Head of the DA Business, the session laid out how Samsung’s Bespoke AI appliances are seamlessly connected through SmartThings to become “Home Companions.”

These devices are equipped with Bixby voice recognition technology, screens, and cameras that allow them to see, hear and understand to proactively respond to users. This makes them capable of intelligently adapting to users’ daily lives. At the same time, intelligent adaptation extends beyond home appliances to TVs and mobile devices to build a broader AI ecosystem in which devices can fulfil the role of a true Home Companion.

“Samsung’s ultimate goal is to enable better living through Bespoke AI,” said Cheolgi Kim. “Through our extensive ecosystem that connects devices across DX products – including mobile phones and TV – and our appliances’ unique form factors, we are providing differentiated experiences to our consumers and creating more value through those experiences.”

Regional Strategies Powering Global Growth

Also during the session, JS Moon, Head of R&D at the DA Business, highlighted how Samsung is tailoring its 2026 appliance portfolio to meet regional market needs. In North America, innovative form factors like the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo continued to drive strong growth. In addition to the AI lineup, new kitchen packages featuring unified stainless-steel designs are expected to satisfy local preferences in 2026.

Latin America continues to see strong momentum led by laundry and air conditioning solutions, while rising interest in smart home ecosystems and localised AI features like regional language support and expanded AI Energy Mode represent a major growth opportunity in Asia.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced that it will unveil its latest kitchen appliances lineup at CES 2026, including the latest iterations of its Bespoke AI Refrigerator. Alongside refreshed designs across the lineup, the company will highlight meaningful improvements to vision-based AI functionality enhanced with Google Gemini and Google Cloud, showing how these innovations simplify everyday tasks and elevate the overall kitchen experience.

Introducing Samsung’s Latest AI Vision–Equipped Refrigerator

At CES, Samsung will present a new Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub, equipped with the upgraded AI Vision. The feature’s key upgrade is its functions built with Google Gemini, which marks the first time that it is being integrated into a Samsung refrigerator.

Previously, the Family Hub’s AI Vision feature could recognise up to 37 types of fresh food and 50 types of pre-registered processed food on-device.[1] The latest version ready to be unveiled at CES is built to unlock its existing limitations to recognise more food items, offering a comprehensive and flexible experience.

It is planned to even recognise processed foods without separate registration, automatically registering their names to increase convenience. Furthermore, Samsung aims to use this technology to detect user-labeled items, such as foods stored in personal containers, which can be added to the food list manually.

With ingredients being identified more accurately, managing the food list becomes clearer and easier than before, broadening people’s food-related experiences. At CES, Samsung plans to showcase the enhanced capabilities and new use cases of AI Vision, demonstrating the future of a truly personalised AI kitchen.

Samsung Australia is yet to announce local availability of the new Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub[2].

Enhanced Wine Management with the New Samsung Bespoke AI Wine Cellar

Samsung will exhibit the new Bespoke AI Wine Cellar, designed to incorporate an AI Vision built with Google Gemini similar to that of the Bespoke AI Refrigerator.[3]

When users store or remove wine bottles from the wine cellar, a camera positioned at the top of the unit will recognise the labels and tracks bottles, updating the SmartThings AI Wine Manager[4] accordingly. The system will also be able to distinguish the specific shelf and compartment where each bottle is placed, allowing users to easily check locations without searching manually. Through the AI Wine Manager, users will be able to look up wine information more conveniently and receive suggestions on pairings based on the type of wine in their inventory, making wine curation more intuitive and personalised.

Samsung Australia has not confirmed whether the Bespoke AI Wine Cellar will be part of its 2026 Home Appliance line-up at this time.

Faster Full Cycles, Enhanced Drying, and Smarter Care with the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo

Following its 2024 debut, the 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is set to launch with upgrades that further shorten wash-to-dry cycles and enhance drying performance[1]. The Super Speed cycle leverages a high-pressure Speed Spray that improves detergent penetration and rinsing to enable fast and efficient washing, while the newly incorporated Booster Heat Exchanger delivers improved drying performance. The upgraded combo also features Auto Open Door+, which not only automatically opens the door, but also activates internal air circulation after wash-only cycles to help keep remaining laundry from developing a musty odour.

Additionally, the upgraded AI Wash & Dry+[2] uses multiple sensors to optimise performance for each load. It detects the weight to determine the right amount of water and detergent, identifies five fabric[3] types – including Outdoor and Denim – and monitors soil levels in real time. The newly applied Wide Lint Filter features a one-touch design for easier cleaning, and a dual-layer design and large capture area to provide thorough collection of lint and particles. This year, in addition to the original 7” LCD screen model, a more affordable variant with a 2.8” LCD screen and jog dial is also being introduced to cater to diverse customer needs. Bespoke AI AirDresser Now Offers Stronger Wrinkle Care and Smarter Drying

Three years after its predecessor, Samsung’s upgraded Bespoke AI AirDresser is returning with enhanced performance and greater convenience. It features the new Auto Wrinkle Care function, which leverages an enhanced Dual AirWash and Dual JetSteam system to help smooth out wrinkles quickly and effortlessly in busy mornings. The Dual JetSteam also effectively maintains the freshness of clothing by infusing high temperature heat deep into the fabric. Furthermore, the model features an intelligent drying course that adjusts drying time to suit small, medium, or large loads. This ensures optimal drying, preventing over or under-drying and protects fabric quality.

A standout feature is its synergy with the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo. The Auto Cycle Link[4] recommends an appropriate drying course on the AirDresser once a wash cycle ends. When certain cycles designed for special care – such as the Blouse Cycle – are selected on the Combo, the same option is automatically queued on the AirDresser, creating a continuous garment care flow. The refreshed design also includes a sleek One Body Door and 2.8″ LCD screen for improved usability. Pricing and availability of the Bespoke AI AirDresser is yet to be announced in Australia.

Samsung will showcase a new WindFree Air Conditioner at CES 2026

Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner Delivers Various Tailored Wind Modes with Multi Blades

This year’s new WindFree Air Conditioner incorporates AI technology[5] and Motion Wind to address the key attribute that influences customer purchasing decisions, which are wind modes[6]. The number of blades have increased from one to three, enabling airflow to be directed in multiple directions according to user preferences. The Triple Motion Wings create seven tailored wind modes — including Max Wind, which delivers faster cooling,[7] Surround Wind, which spreads airflow evenly; Long Reach Wind, which sends cool air further;[8]and Down Wind, which quickly drives warm air downward for faster delivery of cool air. With radar-based AI Direct and Indirect Wind modes, the system senses user presence and automatically directs or diverts airflow to enhance comfort.

The model also includes AI Fast & Comfort Cooling, which analyses temperature, humidity, and room size to automatically activate optimised cooling. Based on usage patterns,[9] it offers Fast Cooling, WindFree comfort and cold-free Dry Comfort. In addition, AI Energy Mode monitors both usage behaviour and external conditions to minimise compressor fluctuations, helping reduce energy.[10] Samsung’s new WindFree Air Conditioner will be available in Australia in 2026. Pricing and launch timing are yet to be announced.

Bespoke AI Jet Bot Ultra Brings Object and Liquid Recognition for Smarter Navigation

The newly launching Bespoke AI Jet Bot Ultra comes with advanced recognition technologies designed to reduce human intervention and simplify cleaning like never before. Powered by a Qualcomm Dragonwing processor, it offers deep learning–based AI Object Recognition[11] to better detect humans,[12] cats and dogs,[13] as well as hard-to-see obstacles like cables or rugs. This model also supports AI Liquid Recognition, allowing it to detect liquid spills[14] and determine whether to clean or avoid them based on the user’s set preference. Additionally, upgraded Easy Pass Wheel technology raises the body and lowers the wheels to climb thresholds of up to 60mm.[15] Samsung’s new Bespoke AI Jet Bot Ultra will be available in Australia in 2026. Samsung’s Knox Matrix creates a trusted, network that turns a smart home into a “smart shield,”.  where more connected devices mean stronger overall security. The Trust Chain in particular — which is a part of Knox Matrix — is managed on a private blockchain, enabling devices to monitor each other for threats
