Available from today for AU$149, the Galaxy Fit3 boasts an aluminium body with a wider display, allowing users to keep track of their health and wellness data — from daily workouts to peaceful sleep — around the clock.

Sleek Design with a Durable Aluminium Body

The Galaxy Fit3 is designed with an aluminium body and a 1.6-inch display, 45% wider than the previous model[1], making it easier for users to check detailed insights at a glance. It’s also lightweight and sleek with a comfortable fit, making it ideal for everyday use around the clock.

Users can incorporate the Galaxy Fit3 into their lifestyles with ease thanks to its long battery life that can last up to 13 days[2].

They can personalise their tracker and make it more stylish by selecting their favourite watch face from over 100 presets[3] or setting their own photos as the background. Users can also effortlessly mix and match bands[4]  to complement their fashion and daily routines with a one-click button.

Keep a Pulse on Your Health Metrics[5] From Day to Night

During the day, the Galaxy Fit3 allows users to keep an eye on their daily activities. Users can track over 100 types of workouts anytime, anywhere and review their exercise records easily, encouraging them to stay motivated to achieve their goals.[6]

The Galaxy Fit3 features a 5ATM rating and IP68-rated water and dust resistance[7], meaning users can enjoy outdoor activities in a variety of environments, as well. The Galaxy Fit3 gives users an even deeper understanding of their overall health, by delivering health metrics that include heart rate[8] and stress levels.

At night, users can comfortably wear their Galaxy Fit3 throughout the night while it tracks their sleep patterns, even detecting snoring[9] and monitoring blood oxygen levels[10] to provide more detailed measurements. Based on individual sleep patterns, the Galaxy Fit3 provides users with personalised Sleep Coaching[11] with meaningful insights that help them more intuitively understand their sleep. For a seamless experience, when users don’t want to be disturbed or get ready for bed, they can automatically sync modes[12] between their Galaxy Fit3 and paired smartphone.

Stay Safe[13] and Connected in the Galaxy Ecosystem

To provide users with a safety net, safety features including Fall Detection and Emergency SOS have been newly added to the Galaxy Fit3. When an abnormal fall is detected, the Galaxy Fit3 gives users the option to call emergency services right away to get medical support in a timely manner. When users are in an emergency, they can send an SOS immediately by pressing the side button five times.

Galaxy Fit3 users can also access an array of capabilities within the connected Samsung Galaxy ecosystem, for an enhanced wearable experience. Users can use the Galaxy Fit3 as a remote control for their smartphone camera when taking photos and setting timers with Camera Remote[14], and also to play and control media on their connected device. If a smartphone is misplaced, users can easily locate it with the Find My Phone feature on the Galaxy Fit3, or vice versa.[15]

Samsung Electronics Australia today announced it is partnering with Nedd Brockmann as he embarks on ‘Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge’. As a Major Partner of Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge, Nedd is sporting Samsung’s newly launched premium smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch Ultra with Galaxy AI. Like Nedd, who is known for his endurance and durability, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is an ultra-performer and will also act as the official Timekeeper of the challenge. Samsung Health is the official health tracking software.

In the first phase of Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge, Nedd will attempt to break the world record for the fastest 1,000-mile run by covering 160 kilometres per day for 10 days (October 3 – 13) at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre and help to raise $10M for people experiencing homelessness.

For the first five days of his run, Nedd will be alone in the stadium with no fans to cheer him on. To keep him motivated, Samsung is inviting Australians to record a Nedd-style ‘Ultra Shout-Out’ to show their support for him. By monitoring the data collected from Nedd’s Galaxy Watch Ultra, these messages will be broadcast on the big screen in the stadium during his run to give him a boost at key milestones and when he needs it the most.

The Ultra Shout Out campaign will be supported with a short film, directed by Ollie Ritchie, that portrays Nedd preparing for his challenge. His scream is joined and amplified by Australians including Mary Fowler and Christian Petracca sending messages of support, as he sets off on his challenge, alone in the stadium.

Nedd is also encouraging people to get involved and join Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge by setting their own challenge that takes them out of their comfort zone for 10 days straight starting 20-29 October.
