Unchallenged for seven years, Samsung has once again achieved the title of Australia’s ‘Most Loved TV brand’; the only brand to win this award since Finder launched the category in 2020. Samsung’s continued leadership reflects its commitment to offering a diverse range of AI-powered displays – from Micro RGB, OLED and Mini LED panels to TVs featuring Glare-Free coatings, Art Store, and competitive gaming features across various screen sizes – to ensure there is a screen to suit every Australian lifestyle and living space.

Samsung also claimed Australia’s Most Recommended Mobile Phone brand, while retaining the title of ‘Top-Quality’ Mobile Phone brand for the second consecutive year. The winning accolades closely follow the announcement of Samsung’s new expanded Galaxy Z series line-up, opening a new chapter of foldable smartphone experiences built to enhance productivity, discovery, and self-expression for Australians.

Furthermore, Samsung’s Top Load Washing Machines were voted ‘Most Loved’ by Australians’, demonstrating a preference by Australians for large capacity connected appliances that can support individual and family routines and lifestyles easily, intelligently and reliably over a long period of time.

Beyond these wins, Samsung also collected a further 48 Highly Commended awards including three in Mobile Phones, five in Tablets, one in TV, eleven in Refrigeration, eighteen in Laundry and four in Air Purifier categories.

Samsung Electronics Australia has expanded its refrigerator offering, giving Australians more choice with the introduction of a new Side-by-Side range and upgraded French Door models. The additions to the refrigerator line-up deliver the latest in Samsung’s smart technology, design and modern styling, all ideally suited to Australian households.

The updated range meets the changing needs of Australians, both in terms of connected home functionality and style. With 80 per cent of Australians expressing a love for modern-looking, sleek appliances¹, Samsung’s new Side-by-Side refrigerators come with the choice of a matte-black or silver stainless steel finish. Responding to consumer insights that show Australians consider black appliances most aligned with modern design³, Samsung now offers over 20 black refrigerators across the range.

Smart and Sophisticated

The new Samsung Side-by-Side refrigerator range features a stylish flat door design with recessed handles that is designed to fit in a standard Australian kitchen cavity². The Side-by-Side range incorporates Samsung’s SpaceMax Technology^TM, which uses high-efficiency insulation that keeps the internal walls thin, creating more storage space inside the fridge without increasing the external dimensions³. It also offers the option of a non-plumbed water and ice dispenser model⁴, meaning even Australians in rental properties can choose to enjoy chilled water or ice straight from the fridge door without the hassle of plumbing – just fill the 4.5L water jug inside and you’re good to go! Samsung has also introduced two new French Door models, one finished in black stainless steel – adding further to Samsung’s modern style offering – and the other in stainless steel finish. The new models are Samsung’s first fridges to boast smart capabilities outside of the Family Hub^TM range, enabling more Australians to remotely control their refrigerator and its settings while home or on the go using the SmartThings app on their compatible smartphone⁵.
