Built for the next era of the smartwatch experience, the Galaxy Watch4 series is the latest line of Galaxy smartwatches with a suite of advanced features made

Built for the next era of the smartwatch experience, the Galaxy Watch4 series is the latest line of Galaxy smartwatches with a suite of advanced features made to fit you. From a variety of straps and customisable watch faces, to a host of diverse features and apps to choose from, you can personalize your Galaxy Watch4 series to be just as unique as you are. But it doesn’t stop there. Now, Galaxy Watch4 users can take customisation to the next level and access new features with a software update, available from October 20th .

Here is a look at some of the new features coming to the Galaxy Watch4 series.

Your Watch Face, Exactly How You Want It

With more watch faces and complications to choose from, the latest update enables you to build the perfect watch face to match your personality and fit into your lifestyle.

Now, you have four new faces to choose from – so you can see whatever information you tend to check the most with just a glance at your wrist. If you’re committed to smashing your fitness goals – or just want to keep an eye on your health stats – you can customise the new Info Brick watch face with the stats you care about the most, from heartrate and stress to daily activity status. Or, you can choose a watch face that displays in-depth weather forecast, a basic dashboard, or live wallpapers inspired by Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 – all of which can also be customised.

Complications are a great way to quickly access important information at-a-glance and launch the apps you use the most. Now, you can mix and match up to four complications to display on your Animals watch face – from battery life to reminders, messages, your step count and much more. You can now also choose a moving GIF for your My Photo+ watch face, rather than just a static photo, to create more exciting and lively watch faces that are completely unique to you.

The update also brings more playful animations to your Steps Challenge watch face for keeping track of how you’re doing in your step challenge – that will help keep you feeling motivated. An animated bear will follow you for every step of your competition – from stretching before you start a challenge to cheering when you win.

More Convenience with Added Gesture Control

Gesture controls enable you to do more using simple hand movements. In addition to moving your forearm up and down twice to receive calls and rotating your wrist twice to reject calls or dismiss alarms, the update includes a new hand motion that can act as a helpful shortcut to activate a chosen app or feature. By doing a simple ‘knock, knock’ motion with your wrist, you can open a pre-selected app, open the list of workouts, turn on a light or even create a new reminder. You can access an app or feature – your favorite or most frequently used – all without lifting a finger or pressing a button.

Keep Yourself or Loved Ones Safe with Improved Fall Detection

First introduced to the Galaxy smartwatch line in 2020, Fall Detection was capable of recognising if the wearer had fallen down during exercise. Now, on the Galaxy Watch4 you can opt to adjust the sensitivity so that it is capable of detecting a fall even when you’re standing still . Plus, Galaxy Watch4 can send out an SOS notification to up to four pre-selected contacts – helping you to take care of yourself and your loved ones.

On top of that, you can enjoy a 60-day free Strava subscription – just for Galaxy Watch users . Get the most out of your Galaxy Watch with the Strava app. Train smarter and stay motivated with enhanced workout analysis, training plans, safety features and more.

At Samsung, we believe that good things can always be better. This ethos has underpinned ground-breaking innovations such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series, a productivity and entertainment powerhouse with next-level performance.

Delivering the full benefits of a regular smartphone in a sleek, compact form factor when closed, the Galaxy Z Fold3 unleashes its full potential when unfolded, supercharging the smartphone experience by delivering a tablet-like experience – all on an immersive 7.6-inch Infinity Flex Display.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 promises to make a difference in the way you work, consume entertainment and play games, as compared to conventional smartphones.

Work: Level up with the Multi-Active Window and S Pen

The limitations of a normal smartphone

Whether you’re working or studying, you would be able to rely on your smartphone to read notes, reply to emails, take a video call or perhaps make small revisions to a word document while on the go. However, due to the limited screen size, chances are you can only carry out one of these tasks at a time.

Attempts to reply to an email while on a video-call, for instance, remain a challenge. Meanwhile, the limitations of a finger touch make it cumbersome to make significant format and design changes to your documents.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 Difference

This is where Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3’s Multi-Active Window comes in, unlocking next-level multi-tasking you never knew was possible in a smartphone! Providing a PC-like experience, Multi-Active Window allows you to open three apps simultaneously on a large 7.6-inch display.

Picture this: You’re in the train and you receive a message from your co-worker, urgently asking you to combine your work-in-progress Microsoft Word document with his.

With Multi-Active Window, you can open the file you received from your colleague and your own working file on the Microsoft Office app[1] simultaneously, and seamlessly drag and drop items across both documents. This is even easier when you use the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 with an S-Pen[2], which also allows you to scribble down notes and make sketches when you have your brainstorming sessions on the go.

And if you prefer to jot down notes in a meeting, you’ll be excited to learn that the S-Pen to Text function converts handwriting into digital text instantly!

If you need a quick breather from work, the Multi-Active Window can also come in handy while you indulge in a little retail therapy. For instance, you can now open your favorite e-commerce apps while browsing Instagram or TikTok for fashion inspiration.

And if you want to check out other options before making a purchase to make sure you’ve got the best deal, you can even split your browser and pull up yet another window!

Entertainment: An immersive AV viewing experience in your pocket

The limitations of a normal smartphone

If you love catching up on movies and TV series on the go, or even relying on your smartphone as an instructional companion for workouts, you would likely find the screen size of a normal smartphone lacking, but a tablet too bulky to bring around.

The Z Fold3 Difference

The limitations of a normal smartphone

For avid mobile gamers, the gaming experience on most smartphones that have smaller screen sizes and slower refresh rates is lacking.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 difference

Packed with a superior 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and an immersive 7.6-inch display, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 is built to take mobile gaming to the next level.

Additionally, with minimum pixels applied on top of the camera hole, Z Fold3 features an increased viewable area so you can get an unbroken canvas without an annoying “camera hole” to disrupt your gameplay!

[1] Microsoft Office support for multi-instance requires latest update.

[2] S Pen sold separately. Only Z Fold3 Main Screen has S Pen capability. Compatible only with the S Pen Fold Edition and S Pen Pro. All other S Pens or stylus pens not designed for Z Fold3(including those by other manufacturers) may damage the screen.
