“The future of hospitality lies in creating seamless, personalised and secure experiences for every guest. At Samsung, we’re enabling this shift by building an open ecosystem that empowers hotels to deliver premium entertainment and smarter operations through innovations such as Google Cast and integrated cloud capabilities. It’s more than technology – it’s about redefining what a memorable stay can be,” said Neal Elliott, Head of Channel – Pro-Display, Samsung Electronics Australia

Immersive viewing experiences are at the heart of Samsung’s hospitality TVs, The HU8000F takes this further with powerful 4K upscaling, delivering UHD to a new level.

The HU8000F is powered by Samsung’s Crystal Processor 4K[4][5] and features HDR10+ and Dynamic Crystal Colour, immersing hotel guests with shades of colour with lifelike clarity and detail. With SmartThings Pro and a multi-code remote, hotel staff can offer personalised in-room experiences, enhancing both convenience and guest satisfaction.

Samsung Electronics Australia will showcase a range of business appliances, display solutions, and air solutions at the annual hotel and accommodation industry

Samsung Electronics Australia will showcase a range of business appliances, display solutions, and air solutions at the annual hotel and accommodation industry expo, No Vacancy. Held at Sydney’s ICC Exhibition Centre from September 7-8, No Vacancy will enable local industry professionals to get hands-on with the latest Samsung products and better understand the digital solutions available to accelerate industry recovery in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

No Vacancy 2022 marks the first industry event where Samsung will showcase a cross section of Consumer Electronics solutions; from Professional Display Signage, Interactive Kiosk Displays, Bespoke AirDresser, Air Purifiers and Air Conditioners, curved Business Monitors, and more. Together, these solutions can enhance the guest entertainment experience whilst helping hospitality professional’s better cope with current resourcing challenges as well as meet heightened health and hygiene standards expected by guests.

According to Jeremy Senior, Vice President – Consumer Electronics, Samsung Australia, Samsung’s attendance at No Vacancy reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the hospitality sector to provide safe and unforgettable travel, dining and entertainment experiences.

“Over the last two years, hospitality has had to demonstrate its adaptability and agility to contend with continually changing policies surrounding travel and live entertainment. The industry now has an opportunity to move forward with a laser focus on premium guest experiences,” Said Mr. Senior.

“Samsung’s range of innovative technologies across display, air, and appliances can help alleviate the burden of resourcing shortages and increased hygiene standards on hospitality operators while meeting the needs of travelers moving forward.”

Scott Boyes, Vice President Operations, NSW & ACT, Accor believes that it is essential to work with the best digital solutions partners to deliver premium experiences for customers post-pandemic.

“Samsung plays a key role in the way entertainment is delivered to our guests, and we are now looking to further integrate display technology throughout our hotels to make the experience for our customers even more intuitive and engaging.”

Boyes continued: “The Wall LED Display is particularly exciting because it gives us the freedom to create custom displays that fit the different settings within our hotels. A product like the AirDresser is prime to create those wow moments for guests and provide peace of mind when it comes to their health.”

Samsung is renowned among hotel and accommodation professionals for its premium Hospitality TV and Digital Display & Signage solutions. Samsung will use No Vacancy to showcase further display solutions including Interactive Kiosks that can ease resourcing burdens by automating processes such as check-in / check-out, food & beverage ordering, and information & concierge services.

Samsung will also demonstrate how hotels and accommodation providers can provide new standards of hygiene and health via solutions such as the Bespoke AirDresser, a clothing care system that refreshes, deodorises and sanitises clothes, while removing wrinkles for travelers. Air Purifiers such as Samsung’s Ultimate Air Purifier AX90 – voted Choice’s ‘Best Performer’ 2021 and 2022[1] – will also be displayed as a device that can help minimise the spread of harmful airborne contaminates in larger spaces.[2]
