“The Galaxy S25 series is a fundamental shift in how we interact with our phones,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics. “We are thrilled to see how our users will enjoy this true AI companion that offers seamless and intuitive solutions in their daily lives.”

On the Galaxy S25 series, AI agents with multimodal capabilities are integrated within the One UI 7[4] platform to perform complex tasks seamlessly across apps and enable natural user interactions through speech, text, videos and images. Now Brief[5] provides tailored suggestions to guide through the day and Now Bar[6] offers a new hub for ongoing activities. From enhanced productivity with Writing Assist to limitless creativity unleashed by Drawing Assist,[7] the expanded capabilities of Galaxy AI[8] continue to empower users in virtually every aspect of their daily lives.

Interactions with the Galaxy S25 series are also more intuitive[9]. With just a single command, Gemini[10] can effortlessly find a user’s favorite sports team’s schedule and add it to Samsung Calendar. Additionally, Google’s enhanced Circle to Search[11] now gives users more helpful information with AI Overviews and one-tap actions.

The Galaxy S25 series further refines and enhances the core capabilities that define the Galaxy experience. Powering the Galaxy S25 series globally, the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy fuels on-device processing for more responsive AI experiences. With unique customizations for Galaxy, including ProScaler[12] and Samsung’s mobile Digital Natural Image engine (mDNIe), the Galaxy S25 series boasts enhanced AI image processing and display power efficiency. The newly introduced 50MP ultrawide camera sensor for the Galaxy S25 Ultra delivers epic shots from every range in exceptional clarity, while professional grade controls like Virtual Aperture and Samsung Log turn virtually any photo or video into the ultimate visual experience.

Samsung has also joined the C2PA as a member, alongside industry leaders including Adobe, Microsoft, OpenAI, Google, Publicis Groupe and more, all collaborating to establish Content Credentials as the universal standard for digital content provenance. In line with its commitment to responsible mobile AI innovation, Samsung adopted this standard to enhance transparency for content created and edited with generative AI.

Over the past month, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd hosted five launch events, showcasing its latest additions to the Rugged Range lineup across multiple capital cities. Designed specifically for demanding environments and B2B applications, the Galaxy XCover7 and Galaxy Tab Active5 empower workforces to maximise productivity with a seamless, versatile user experience. As 89% of businesses surveyed in the Asia-Pacific agree mobile devices are a key contributor to strong business performance,[1] it’s clear why access to efficient and practice devices is so important when it comes to empowering your employees.

As a first-of-its-kind national B2B experience, Samsung was able to bring in-person immersive events to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, making it easier for key partners across the country to learn about the range and get hands-on. With immersive product experiences and customer testimonials, B2B customers were able to see firsthand, the real benefits of Samsung rugged devices and the ways they can help innovate their work place.

Rob Taylor, Head of B2B Division, Mobile eXperience at Samsung Australia said, “Our research supports the growing interest of enterprise devices and as ways of working evolve, employers need access to durable, optimised and secure devices to maximise productivity in their workforce. These events allow partners to see how these features are brought to life on Galaxy rugged devices first-hand.”

Stephen Mummery, Regional Sales Director, Advanced Mobile IT (AMIT) said, “The Samsung range, and in particular the Tab Active series, have been a cornerstone offering for AMIT customers seeking an in vehicle ruggedised tablet solution. The Samsung Tab Active Range has allowed AMIT customers to refresh the tablet without having to change other infrastructure such as docks and power solutions due to its almost exact same form factor as the previous model. The Samsung XCover is probably the most affordable ruggedised handset available today. The programmable quick launch key allows for fast application use in the field.”

In total, the launch events saw an attendance of over 300 partners and customers, across construction, mining, manufacturing, and government sectors.

It features several athletes from some of the Games’ newest sports — skateboarding, surfing, and breaking — which, like Samsung, share core values of open-mindedness and self-expression.

“We are proud to support this incredible team of athletes and welcome them to the Samsung family,” added Stephanie Choi. “Not only are they inspiring humans on and off the field of play, but they’re also making an impact on their communities and on the next generation. Together with Team Samsung Galaxy, we are thrilled to encourage fans around the world to open up to new possibilities in their everyday lives.”

The team also includes 15-year-old skateboarder Rayssa Leal, who became the youngest Brazilian ever to participate in the Olympic Games when she won silver at Tokyo 2020; Yeri Kim, the “limitless” South Korean B-girl who overcame a hearing impairment to rise to the top of her sport; Jagger Eaton (U.S.), who champions skateboarding’s culture of open-mindedness; surfers Johanne Defay (France), John John Florence (U.S.) and Jack Robinson (Australia), who are not only fierce competitors on the waves, but also fierce ocean and climate advocates; and Paralympians Madison de Rozario (Australia) and Ugo Didier (France) who use their platforms to drive accessibility and inclusivity in sport and society.

Madison de Rozario said: “Samsung’s been a part of the Paralympics for so long, and one of the highest privileges of being a Paralympian is getting to partner with a brand that feels so strongly about the Paralympic movement. Tech is playing an enormous role right now, particularly in Paralympic and women’s sports. Being able to engage with fans directly has progressed the movement far quicker than anything else.”

Jack Robinson: “I’m most excited about the new opportunity of being part of this family of athletes and inspiring each other. Sport brings us all together and that’s what brings the best out of people, so I’m looking forward to going to the Games.”

Johanne Defay said: “I am super happy to be part of Team Samsung Galaxy. ‘Open always wins’ reminds me of the open-mindedness one can acquire through competition – sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, which challenges many aspects of ourselves. We ponder a lot on how we can evolve, and I think that’s a form of open-mindedness.”

Jagger Eaton said: “To be a part of Team Samsung Galaxy means the world to me. From somebody who approaches skateboarding in a diverse way, to be a part of a brand that does the same is amazing. ‘Open always wins,’ to me, means inclusion of everybody. I think that the Olympic Games is not only an amazing time for everybody to get together and cheer for their country, but an opportunity to do what I love on the world stage. For me, I always stay open in skateboarding because I believe it’s one of the most open-minded activities that you can do.”

More information on how ‘Open always wins’ will come to life, the many ways Samsung will enhance the Olympic and Paralympic Games experience at Paris 2024, and the additional athletes of Team Samsung Galaxy, will be announced as the Road to the Games continues. Team Samsung Galaxy’s full roster has been included below.

Internet at your fingertips. A camera in your pocket. And then, artificial intelligence helping to improve your everyday life.

Samsung Galaxy helped democratise internet access and turned cameras into a communication tool we can’t live without. Even as all eyes are on AI, some of its best benefits haven’t come to mobile technology yet. Galaxy is about to change that.

Galaxy puts the power of openness in the palm of your hand. Designed to empower everyone, everywhere, Galaxy AI is universal intelligence on your phone as you’ve never seen it before. In all the places it matters most — from barrier-free communication, to simplified productivity, to unconstrained creativity — we’re unleashing new possibilities.

Galaxy AI is a comprehensive mobile AI experience, powered by both on-device AI developed at Samsung and cloud-based AI enabled by our open collaborations with like-minded industry leaders. It can transform your everyday mobile experience with the peace of mind you count on from Galaxy.

For a tiny glimpse of one benefit Galaxy AI will enable, look no further than the very thing our phones were originally created to do, calling each other. AI Live Translate Call will soon give users with the latest Galaxy AI phone[1] a personal translator whenever they need it. Because it’s integrated into the native call feature, the hassle of having to use third-party apps is gone. Audio and text translations will appear in real-time as you speak, making calling someone who speaks another language about as simple as turning on closed captions when you stream a show.

Coming early next year, Galaxy AI will bring us closer to a world where some of the most common barriers to social connection dissolve, and communication is easier and more productive than ever.

That’s AI changing the world and your life for the better.

“Mobile technology has an incredible power to enable connection, productivity, creativity and more for people around the world, but until now, we haven’t seen mobile AI ignite that in truly meaningful ways,” said Wonjoon Choi, EVP and Head of R&D, Mobile eXperience Business. “Galaxy AI is our most comprehensive intelligence offering to date, and it will change how we think about our phones forever.”

Breakthrough experiences that empower real connection and open up new possibilities right from your phone. That’s Galaxy’s promise.

This is just a glimpse of what’s to come. Life opens up with Galaxy, so get ready for a new era of mobile AI.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced its new Galaxy Tab A9+, delivering Samsung Galaxy’s awesome tablet experiences at great value. The Tab A9+

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced its new Galaxy Tab A9+, delivering Samsung Galaxy’s awesome tablet experiences at great value. The Tab A9+ combines immersive video and audio with incredible connectivity — supporting everyday entertainment and productivity needs in a portable package. The Galaxy Tab A9+ exemplifies the Galaxy connected ecosystem, offering a continuous experience across multiple compatible devices, as well as innovative ways for users and their loved ones to safely navigate the digital realm.

“We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the latest innovations in tablet technology,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ Mobile eXperience Business. “With the latest Galaxy Tab A series release, we’re making it easier than ever for all to enjoy great entertainment and productive multitasking across the entire Galaxy ecosystem.”

Engineered For Pure Viewing Pleasure

The Galaxy Tab A9+ offers the largest screen of any Galaxy A series tablet yet, with an 11-inch display[i], that immerses users in their favorite movies, shows, or games.

Galaxy Tab A9+ users can get lost in cinematic experiences, thanks to a 90Hz refresh rate — for seamless gaming or scrolling — and enjoy immersive sound with Quad speakers, powered by Dolby Atmos. For users who select the Tab A9+ with 5G connectivity[ii], there’s no need to worry about interrupted streaming when you’re on the go. The tablet features a sleek, unibody designs with a soft-texture back cover, making it easy to handle.

Awesome Performance

Galaxy Tab A9+ provides exceptional performance and speed that empower users to accomplish more. With the largest memory and storage available on a Galaxy Tab A series device, there is plenty of room to store and save documents, sources of inspiration and more.

Engineered to help enhance productivity and the ability to learn, the Galaxy Tab A9+ brings PC-level multitasking to the tablet with Samsung DeX and the multi-active window allows up to three split-screens[iii]to maximise the ability to do more at once. Galaxy Tab A series users can now record their screen with Screen Recorder[iv], so it’s easy to refer back to information or inspiration later.

Your Galaxy, Your Way

The Galaxy Tab A+ enables seamless connectivity across compatible Samsung Galaxy devices, so users can easily move content between mobile, tablet and TV monitors. Quick Share[v] helps simplify file sharing without requiring device pairing, so users can send their favorite content between compatible devices.

The new Galaxy Tab A+ series can also help keep data safe by Samsung Knox, Samsung’s, multi-layered security platform. The Security & Privacy Dashboard empowers users to easily see and control their data. With Private Share, content is encrypted before it’s shared. The sender can set access permissions, expiration dates and more to have some peace of mind when sending sensitive information. And with Secure Wi-Fi, users can take their Galaxy Tab A9+ on the go without worrying about risky shared internet networks. Internet traffic is encrypted and tracking apps are blocked so browsing is private and secure.

Tablets have become an essential source of entertainment and learning for children, and Samsung Kids can help parents and children safely navigate the digital realm. With a simple set up process, parents and caregivers can monitor and control children’s digital activities, access settings, create child profiles, set playtime and monitor the content that children are consuming. Plus, Samsung Galaxy’s ‘Edutainment’ provides fun and engaging content on-device.

At Samsung, we are harnessing the power of technology to enable people to make small, everyday changes that can add up to meaningful, positive impact for the planet under our corporate sustainability vision, Everyday Sustainability. With each product we create, we are in the business of trying to make the technology that many of us enjoy do more with less of an impact on the environment.

As part of our commitment, the Samsung Mobile eXperience (MX) Business is working to incorporate recycled materials in all mobile products by 2025. We have made significant strides in our journey to achieve this goal with the Galaxy S23 series, which features a wider variety of recycled materials than any other Galaxy smartphone to date, including pre-consumer recycled glass and aluminum and post-consumer recycled plastics, which are sourced from discarded fishing nets, water barrels and PET bottles. Compared to its previous generation, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has also doubled the number of components made with recycled materials and expanded their presence to external components, not just internal components.

Now, we are taking another step forward in our journey by applying eco-conscious materials to all eight styles of smartphone cases for the Galaxy S23 series[1], in addition to the Screen Protector[2] that provides added protection to the smartphone’s screen.

Check out three smartphone cases for the Galaxy S23 series, designed with style and the planet in mind.

All cases sold separately.

Silicone Grip Case

The Silicone Grip Case for the Galaxy S23 series integrates a range of post-consumer recycled content, promoting improved resource circularity in Samsung’s design and production processes.

The inner frame is made with a material consisting of a minimum of 20% post-consumer recycled plastic[3] sourced from discarded water barrels, and the interior of the case has recycled microfiber, which is made with a minimum of 29% post-consumer recycled content[4].

Each Silicone Grip Case comes with a strap that uses fabric consisting of 86% post-consumer recycled content. To create the strap material, PET bottles are melted down and repurposed to form a flexible and durable yarn.

Smart View Wallet Case

Known for its convenience, the Smart View Wallet Case for the Galaxy S23 series allows users to easily access their device’s interactive display without opening the cover. With a simple tap to the display window, Galaxy users can answer a call or play music.

But the Smart View Wallet Case is more than convenient, it is designed with eco-conscious materials. The outer cover is constructed with a material that has a minimum of 21% bio-based content[5]. The inner frame, similarly, uses a material with a minimum of 20% post-consumer recycled plastics[6], while the interior of the case is made with recycled microfibers containing a minimum of 29% post-consumer recycled content[7].

Rugged Gadget Case

The Rugged Gadget Case for the Galaxy S23 series is built to last, with a sturdy design and comfortable grip. It is designed to protect the device against bumps, drops and scratches. This heavy-duty case has been drop-tested to meet military-grade standards[8].

The case’s enhanced protection is supported by recycled materials, demonstrating that improved durability should not come at a cost to eco-conscious material innovation. The outer frame incorporates a material containing a minimum of 37% bio-based content[9].

A Continued Commitment to Sustainability

Galaxy technology and its accessories have always been created to bring convenience, joy and style. Over the last decade, Samsung has strived to make sustainability an essential part of that equation.

These smartphone cases are only one small step in our sustainability journey. Our journey is ongoing and always evolving. Samsung will continue to scale our efforts and join forces with like-minded partners to enable every Galaxy user to embed sustainability into their daily lives.

During a recent visit to Vietnam, TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics shared his thoughts on the state of the mobile industry, expressing confidence that continuous innovation and creation of unique experiences will be key in reinforcing Samsung’s leadership position.

Despite the current economic climate, global sales of the Galaxy S23 series have been highly positive. TM Roh believes that this was made possible with the coming together of several new mobile innovations developed based on consumer feedback, which sets a new standard in premium smartphone experiences. This includes the advanced camera features in the Galaxy S23 series smartphones, represented by Nightography; smooth gaming experience backed by the devices’ powerful performance; convenient, easy-to-use One UI 5.1; the use of environmentally conscious recycled materials in components of the Galaxy S23 series and optimisation of third-party apps through open collaborations with global partners.

He reiterated that more than ever, consumers are now placing reliability on the top of their list of must-haves. TM Roh said, “Our consumers are looking for more reliable products, reliable brands, and premium high-end products that can provide a good experience.”

Three-pronged Approach to Lead in the Mobile Market

Noting that this user preference trend would be one for the long term, he laid out a three-pronged approach that Samsung is taking to effectively respond to challenges in the mobile market, and at the same time, pave the way for Samsung to reinforce its position as a market leader:

Premium Quality: With Samsung’s flagship mobile devices at the core of this strategy, Samsung is focused on continuously improving the product quality of all Samsung Galaxy devices, ensuring that they deliver not just on the user experience, but also in empowering consumers to work better the way they want to.

Enabling New Experiences and Possibilities: Samsung is focusing its efforts on enabling consumers with new experiences and possibilities through their innovative line-up of Galaxy products by continuously creating and providing new innovations and experiences not just in hardware innovations, but also in software and AI, that only Samsung can provide.

For example, Samsung not only pioneered the folding smartphone category but also took foldables mainstream, with the product category growing in popularity globally. This focus on premium experiences is also being driven by features such as the large screen experience on the Galaxy Z Fold series, the enhanced pocketability and selfie experience on the Galaxy Z Flip series, as well as the excellent Nightography and camera capabilities of the Galaxy S23 series, made possible through innovations in AI technology.

A Galaxy for Everyone: Finally, as much as smartphones are now a part of our everyday lives, there are still many consumers out there who have yet to own a smartphone. As such, Samsung wants to make Galaxy devices more accessible to all, and at more affordable price points, to help more users to live their best lives.

Delivering Great Mobile Experiences for All

“At the MX Business in Samsung Electronics, our goal is to provide a great experience to meet the needs of consumers, both now and in the future, through products of various segments,” emphasised TM Roh.

Guided by a firm understanding of the needs and preferences of consumers from different regions and segments, we want to ensure that we are delivering various quality mobile experiences that consumers want. This is especially important in the diverse markets of the Southeast Asia and Oceania region.

“For consumers who are looking for premium smartphones, we offer the Galaxy S series and foldable devices. For those looking for something more affordable yet be able to enjoy mobile experiences powered by 5G connectivity, we have the Galaxy A series,” he explained.

Innovating for the Future

Looking ahead, TM Roh said that consumers across Southeast Asia and Oceania and globally are increasingly expecting a more seamless device experience, centred on the ubiquitous smartphone.

He cites the Galaxy ecosystem, with smartphones, wearables, and tablets, as an example of this unmatched, continued experience that can simplify consumers’ lives. “We’ve strengthened our entire multi-device experience to allow Galaxy devices to better connect with our TV line and home appliances such as air conditioners, and refrigerators. This is one of our biggest strengths that differentiates the Galaxy ecosystem from competitors. We will continue to build a more powerful and seamless multi-device experience, including strengthening localisation efforts to optimise how technology can blend into the everyday for our users through our SmartThings platform.”

TM Roh believes that there is still much potential to innovate in the mobile market across many areas. The innovation of form factors, such as foldables, will enrich the whole ecosystem, driving the development of third-party apps and new user experiences and that continue to redefine the limits of what a mobile device can do.

He also mentioned how the partnership with Google and Qualcomm, announced at Galaxy Unpacked 2023, will explore new possibilities for extended reality (XR) applications, while the creation of new AI-powered services and content, or intelligent in-vehicle experiences and even smarter home appliances, will also contribute towards smartphone innovation in the years to come.

“We will be kept busy bringing new innovations to our consumers. The whole smartphone and mobile industry will continue to evolve and grow in the future.”

Samsung Electronics Australia has today unveiled Samsung One, the company’s new flagship business partner program, which will initially be offered to select Samsung distributors and resellers for its Mobile Experience division. The products and solutions included within the Mobile Experience portfolio include smartphones, tablets, wearables and Samsung Knox security and mobility services.

The initiative combines marketing toolkits, sales enablement assets, product information, news and commercial incentives through a single online platform, as well as a training program that can be accessed via desktop and a mobile app. Plans are also underway to introduce a rewards program in the future.

Samsung One includes a number of key pillars that partners can access to support their business growth:

Commercial – an extensive dashboard showcasing partner sales data, analysis and engagement to take performance to the next level.

Training – a series of business-to-business-specific training modules on Samsung’s mobility products and solutions, designed for the development of Samsung’s partners and their salespeople. The training content will cover essential topic areas that will enable improved sales performance, including deep dives into: Why Samsung for business, devices, ecosystem, Enterprise Edition, rugged range, Samsung Knox, and solutions and partnerships.

Champion Program – an opportunity for partners to nominate champions within their business who will receive additional training, engagement with Samsung and have access to the latest devices to drive advocacy and knowledge.

Incentives – rewards for Samsung’s partners who reach certain targets, to drive best practice, encourage high performance and incentivise education among its sales force.

The program also introduces tiers certification level – Registered, Authorised, Advanced and Elite. The four-tier program has been built around three core fundamentals: capability; customer experience and engagement; and business growth. As partners move-up the tiers, they can gain access to additional bespoke support tools and services as well as greater benefits to meet the needs of their own customers and achieve their goals.

While commercial, marketing and support benefits vary between tiers, every partner will receive full access to training, sales engagement guides, marketing toolkits, and deal registration – regardless of its certification.

Samsung One was first launched in the United Kingdom in November 2020. Australia is the second country to launch the program locally.

Danny Mandrides, Head of Enterprise & Government, Mobile Experience division at Samsung Electronics Australia, said: “We are excited to bring Samsung One to Australia. Partners have always been at the core of our company’s strategy and they are key in supporting us to drive our growth and achieve our business objectives.

“The program is designed to empower our partners with necessary tools to excel and help them to better serve their customers. Samsung One demonstrates our commitment to our Australian distributors and resellers and we will continue to invest in our partner strategy to maximise their potential and growth in the future.”
