Samsung Electronics Australia has today announced it is shining a light on plight of the often-overlooked heroes of social media – the Unsung Snappers. These are the dedicated people spotted often in the wild behind a phone camera, doing their best to get the perfect shot [1] for someone else. Almost half of Australians make up this group, with 45% of those surveyed admitting to taking photos for a partner, friend or family member’s social media at least once a week.

While many Aussies will go to great lengths to get help out a mate, new research [2] has found that the majority of Australians (70%) say that taking photos for social media can impact their ability to simply enjoy the moment. 57% say their biggest frustration is when it takes too long to get the ‘perfect’ photo in public and almost half of Gen Z (50%) and millennials (46%) have said they’ve felt embarrassed taking photos of others.

When switched on, Auto Blocker can block app installations from unauthorised sources, provide app security checks to scan for potential malware and block potentially malicious commands and software installations to your device while connected by USB cable. Pricing and Availability

The new Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G will be available to purchase from 25th March from the Samsung Online Store and select retail partners with the recommended retail pricing of $699 and $549, respectively. The Galaxy A55 5G will come in colours, Awesome Navy and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A35 5G will be available in Awesome Navy and Awesome Ice Blue

Customers who purchase the Galaxy A55 5G from the Samsung Online Store or from participating retailers before the 15^th April will be eligible to receive a bonus pair of Galaxy Buds FE in the same transaction or via redemption, respectively.[3] For customers interested in the Galaxy A35 5G, they will receive a bonus SmartTag2 and 25W Power Adapter from the Samsung Online Store when purchasing prior to the 15^th April.[4] With the purchase of either of the new A series devices, customers will also be offered a $100 bonus with trade-in until 4th April 2024.[5]
