Samsung Electronics Australia is pleased to announce the latest addition to its French Door Fridge range with the introduction of Family Hub 6.0. The model debuts new software enhancements to keep the family organised and features the all-new innovative Beverage Centre with Autofill Infuser Jug to keep everyone hydrated.

On-sale now at leading retailers across Australia, the 9000 Series has been designed with busy families in mind, setting a new standard for innovation and style in the kitchen.

“As the first smart refrigerator in Australia, the sixth iteration of the Family Hub is built to keep families more closely connected at home. Favourite smart features such as Family Board and View Inside continue to evolve so Aussie families can stay organised, said Andrew Wand, Director Home Appliances, Samsung Australia.

“Building on the Family Hub variety of smart features, the Samsung Family Hub 6.0 now includes the all new Beverage Centre which allows you to always have cold fresh water on hand, simplifying the act of entertaining from home for Aussies,” continued Mr Wand.

From access to personalised recipe ideas or meal plans to ordering groceries delivered to your door[1], it’s like your personal food concierge. You can also watch TV on the home screen, access apps on your smartphone or listen to music while spending time in the kitchen[2].

Family Hub, has also received a make-over on the outside, available in stylish black and featuring sleek lines that are accentuated by recessed handles and a flat door design, to provide a seamless, premium, and stylish ‘built-in’ look with Fingerprint Resistant Finish.

The new 9000 Series Family Hub has the new innovative Beverage Centre with Autofill Infuser Jug and water dispenser located inside the door to ensure families always have fresh, cold drinking water at their fingertips. There is the addition of a Dual Ice Maker that holds over 3kgs of regular ice cubes and small Ice Bites to chill drinks faster for families on hot Australian days.

For efficient cooling, the in-door Metal Cooling plate helps the fridge to maintain optimal temperatures. It also utilises Triple Cooling to help keep your food fresher for longer, while also preventing the mixing of odours between fresh and frozen food compartments.

Customers with a Family Hub 2.0 – 5.0 will receive the 6.0 software update to experience the upgraded features in Q3 2021.
