<p>Samsung Canada is excited to announce Catholic Central High School (Windsor, ON) and Stride Avenue Elementary School (Burnaby, BC) as the winners of the Samsung Canada Solve for Tomorrow Technology Grant, in partnership with Best Buy Canada. Each school will receive $10,000 worth of Samsung technology to enhance programs and boost interest and proficiency in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) learning among teachers and students.</p>

<p>“This Samsung technology will be an absolute difference maker at Catholic Central High School, offering our students collaborative, interactive 21<sup>st</sup> century learning opportunities and creating new possibilities for their development within STEM courses, said <strong>Julie Daragon, Teacher at Catholic Central</strong>.</p>

<p>Best Buy Canada’s <span><a href="https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/about/school-tech-grants/blt435b1a6205497079?icmp=ipp_social-impact-techgrant">School Tech Grant</a></span> program received more than 730 applications from principals and teachers across the country and awarded a total of 13 grants. Each application delved into the importance and impact technology would have for their schools and students, especially during these challenging times. From helping ensure everyone in their school had access to the necessary technology required to further develop the skills that are crucial for their overall educational success to inspiring the next generation of Canadians to pursue careers in STEM.</p>
