Galaxy S25 Edge continues the premium design language of the series while achieving the slimmest profile in Galaxy S series history – measuring just 5.8mm thick and weighing only 163g.

To make this possible, the idea of a smartphone was reimagined from the ground up. A newly engineered internal structure features a new mounting system, allowing components to be placed with precision down to 0.1 millimeter.

But it’s not just slim – it’s tough. Galaxy S25 Edge uses a titanium frame, as seen in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It’s further reinforced by Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2.

Intuitive Performance

Galaxy S25 Edge may be our slimmest S series design yet, but there’s nothing light about its performance. From everyday responsiveness to demanding multitasking, it delivers the same power and speed found across the Galaxy S25 series.

At its heart is the Snapdragon® 8 Elite[1] Mobile Platform for Galaxy – a powerful processor customized in collaboration with Qualcomm for blazing fast on-device AI processing and daily performance. But true performance goes beyond the chipset, especially in a device this thin.

A new thermal system was developed to suit the Galaxy S25 Edge’s slim profile. Its vapour chamber is 10% larger than the one used in Galaxy S25+. To maintain thinness while efficiently managing heat, a new “hole structure” was introduced—a first for Galaxy—in which a portion of the front metal frame is removed to allow more direct heat transfer from the application processor to the vapour chamber.

A tightly tailored thermal interface material helps absorb and disperse heat from surrounding components. What you’ll notice is a phone that stays fast, cool and responsive – no matter what you’re doing.

Ultra-level Camera

A premium camera experience is a hallmark of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 Edge delivers on that legacy. Its dual camera system with wide and ultra-wide lenses includes a 200MP main sensor that captures Ultra-level shots with extraordinary clarity, vibrant colour and true-to-life detail, even in challenging lighting conditions.

The thickness of the main camera was reduced by more than 10% as compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra through structural optimization of the autofocus and optical image stabilization. A two-layer camera housing design offsets the module’s height, allowing the 200MP sensor to sit naturally within the frame without disrupting the phone’s silhouette. The result is a Galaxy camera experience fit for pros, now in a slimmer, more compact form.

As a key component, Corning’s ion exchange process further fortifies the glass ceramic material and improves retained strength of the display cover.
