Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced the rollout of a new AI experience with Gemini Live, bringing real-time visual conversations with AI to Galaxy users. The feature will begin rolling out on April 7, starting with the Galaxy S25 series available for any users free of charge.

Through AI-powered assistance, Galaxy users can more naturally engage in conversational interactions that make everyday tasks easier. Just press and hold the side button to show Gemini Live[1] what you see while simultaneously interacting with it in a live conversation.

Imagine picking out an outfit or reorganizing a closet. Gemini Live can now make those everyday decisions easier. By simply pointing the camera, users can get suggestions on how to categorize items and optimize space, or share their screen while browsing online retailers to receive personalized style advice. With the ability to see what the user sees and respond in real time, Galaxy S25 series feels like a trusted friend who’s always ready to help.

In celebration of the latest Samsung Galaxy S25 Series retail launch, Samsung is teaming up with TELUS to bring the newest devices powered by Canada’s most awarded 5G network to skiers and snowboarders in a chalet themed pop-up experience. Coming to the mountains in B.C. and Quebec in February and March, guests can see how the new Galaxy S25 Series is a true AI companion, designed to make your ski day that much better while staying connected on TELUS’ world-leading network.

Samsung and TELUS will be setting up a chalet slope side where you can experience a new way to Après All Day over the next two months moving from Big White, to Whistler, to Mont Tremblant, and finally to Mont Saint Anne. Guests will be invited to test out the latest Galaxy AI features Après Ski style starting with the Galaxy Snack bar. Using the Galaxy S25 Series, a true AI companion, guests are welcome to warm up with a hot chocolate of their choice. Using Circle to Search with Google and Galaxy AI capabilities on TELUS’ 5G network, you can choose your hot chocolate toppings and place your order all in one seamless action across apps so you can focus on what matters – getting more turns in!   

Prior to hitting the slopes, guests can visit our Galaxy AI sticker studio to create custom stickers for their gear and boards. Spice up your slope style using Gemini and Sketch-to-image to bring your unique designs to life. Not convinced? We are also inviting guests to rent our Galaxy S25 Series or Galaxy Watch Ultra for the day and see how they measure up on the mountain powered by TELUS’ reliable 5G coverage.

Finally, we’ve created a Slope Safari Scavenger Hunt. Using Galaxy AI, skiers and snowboarders can solve clues to locate TELUS critters around the mountain for a chance to win a Galaxy prize pack[1]. There is also an opportunity for chairlift photo ops using Galaxy AI’s enhancement features so you can remember your ski trip for years to come.

To celebrate the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series in Canada, Samsung became the presenting partner of APIK Mississauga’s inaugural urban adrenaline festival and competition. Guests are invited to watch as Olympic and professional skiers and snowboarders perform jaw-dropping tricks during Samsung Galaxy’s “Best Trick” competition. The best part? Each athlete will be wearing a Galaxy S25 smartphone, bringing the action to audiences closer than ever before and capturing every run in 4K video.

Samsung has built a state-of-the-art pop-up space on-site to showcase the best features of the Galaxy S25 Series. Guests can get their photo taken at the Lift Ticket Studio powered by the Samsung Galaxy Portrait Studio or check out the capabilities of Now Brief and Now Bar by seeing how it could make a ski trip even more enjoyable with a personalized daily rundown of their itinerary.

The pop-up space is also retrofitted with “Samsung Seats,” an elevated chairlift viewing platform, offering guests the best seat in the house for the ski and snowboard competitions. Using Galaxy Nightography, guests can test out the camera quality of the new Galaxy S25 Series from up above at night. With this elevated chairlift platform, guests’ photos will portray a bird’s eye view to all the action.

Need another reason to attend? Guests should get excited about the opportunity to create a custom board design with Sketch to Image using the S Pen and Galaxy AI features. Guests can submit their unique designs with one lucky fan getting to take home a custom snowboard with their design printed on the bottom. Talk about epic!
