Samsung’s AI Home aims to be a reality people can experience today — not just in the future — and one designed for everyone, not just a select few.

At IFA 2025, Samsung will highlight several AI-powered innovations aligned with this vision, including the Micro RGB TV with the latest display technology, new Bespoke AI appliances customers and new mobile devices that strengthen the Galaxy AI ecosystem.¹

These products will connect to SmartThings, delivering Samsung’s unique AI Home experience that makes life more convenient.

At Innovation For All (IFA) 2025, Samsung Electronics showcased its vision for “AI Home: Future Living, Now”. Samsung’s AI Home aims to be a reality people can experience today — not just in the future — and one designed for everyone, not just a select few.

Bespoke AI Enhances AI Capabilities

Samsung’s latest Bespoke AI appliances have taken AI features to a new level, offering a better living experience in both the kitchen and other spaces:

• Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra: Upgraded with improved AI Object Recognition[1], it can now detect liquids[2], even transparent ones.
• Bespoke AI Washer: AI Wash+ enables a laundry experience that better fits your clothes. It clears the minimum threshold for a Grade A in energy efficiency testing by up to 65%[3].
• Bespoke AI Dishwasher: AI Wash optimises the cleaning cycle based on how dirty the dishes are[4], and Auto Open Door allows steam to escape, accelerating the drying process.

Vision AI Expands to Larger Displays

Samsung’s Vision AI Companion is designed to feel more like a trusted companion – someone you can engage with naturally, and that responds in a human-like way – redefining home entertainment. Pursuing an open platform approach, Samsung is strengthening its partnerships with global AI technology leaders.

Other highlights included:

• Micro RGB: A 115” display delivering cinema-quality visuals at home with perfect colour, bringing every scene to life with stunning depth and vibrancy.
• Samsung Sound Tower: Powerful, portable sound with an 18-hour battery[5]. You can strengthen the party mood with customisable lighting and sound effects via the dedicated app.

Galaxy AI Expands with New Devices

Starting with the Galaxy S24 series and a commitment to democratise Galaxy AI to over 200 million devices in 2024, Samsung Galaxy has defined a new era of mobile AI innovation.

Now, the latest Galaxy AI experience comes to new products, designed to deliver a seamless mobile experience on a wider range of devices with multimodal capabilities.

By the end of 2025, Samsung aims to bring the Galaxy AI experience to over 400 million devices worldwide.

Experience Future Living, Now at IFA 2025

The Samsung exhibition at IFA will be open from September 5 – 9 at the CityCube, Berlin.

Samsung Electronics is also showcasing a large-scale media art installation created in collaboration with world-renowned digital artist Maotik on a massive 50-meter-wide digital façade at the entrance of the exhibition hall.

The video, themed around “wind,” features dynamic waves formed by the organic movement of data, symbolizing how Samsung’s AI technology contributes to enhancing everyday life for its customers.

Samsung’s QLED 8K with 8K AI Upscaling is a part of the company’s long-term vision of leading 8K to the forefront as the most accurate and life-like screen resolution available on the market.

“When it comes to premium picture quality and industry innovation, the introduction of our QLED 8K with 8K AI Upscaling is an integral component as we look to the future of displays,” said Pat Bugos, Vice President of Consumer Electronics at Samsung Canada. “With brilliant colour, clarity and sound, we’re confident Canadians will enjoy immersive viewing experiences with the introduction of the Q900R and our new 8K-capable models.”

To achieve 8K-quality images, the Samsung Q900R features 8K Resolution capable of high nit peak brightness – a standard met by most film studios. This feature allows the TV to produce four times more pixels than a 4K UHD TV and 16 times more pixels than a full HD TV. Q HDR 8K powered by HDR (High Dynamic Range) 10+ technology, which optimizes the TV’s brightness levels and produces pristine colours and images, is also incorporated to deliver pictures as intended by creators.

Samsung’s proprietary 8K AI Upscaling technology based on artificial intelligence also comes equipped with picture and sound quality designed to upgrade the quality of image regardless of original source quality or format. Whether a user is watching content through a streaming service, set-top box, HDMI, USB or even mobile mirroring, the Quantum Processor 8K recognizes and upscales the content to appear in 8K quality. In addition, the Q900R features Direct Full Array Elite for enhanced contrast and precise backlighting control, and also 100% Colour Volume, enabling users to witness billions of shades of colour for the purest colour accuracy to-date.

Focusing on user efficiency, the Q900R features a slate of new functions that enable consumers to use their TVs differently while maintaining the highest quality in picture and sound. For example, the TV recognizes and analyzes a number of connected entertainment devices like audio devices connected via optical cable with One Remote. Lifestyle features, such as Ambient Mode, have been enhanced to seamlessly blend the TV in the surrounding space by showcasing beautiful images, weather, news and more on the screen when the user is not watching television. The One Invisible Connection, which comes standard at 5 metres, incorporates the optical cable and power in one seamless cord, giving users more freedom to decide where and how they place the TV. Smart enhancements, such as SmartThings, further add to the Q900R’s ability to provide users with greater access to information and make their lives easier.
