For Taha Muharuma – a photographer and creative collaborator based in Toronto – connecting through art and photography has always offered a means of inspiration and happiness. “It started out as a simple daily walk to help spark movement in my body and my mind. Over the next few months, these walks became part of my mental, physical, and creative routine. Soon, I began taking my daughter along with me to experience and appreciate the beautiful ride that is life. ‘What sounds does the water make?’ … ‘Let’s jump in the colourful leaves!’ I could tell she just loved running free.

It’s been a tough year, but once again photography has helped me through it.
