Beginning August 30, 2021, two popular Samsung Experience Stores will be undergoing major renovations. Store makeovers at Metrotown Mall in Burnaby, British Columbia and Yorkdale Mall in Toronto, Ontario will bring updated contemporary designs and innovative technology together in an exciting new retail experience for consumers.

At Metrotown Mall in Burnaby, the upgrade will include a brand-new service centre for on-site Samsung device repairs. At Ontario’s Yorkdale location, the renovation will help Samsung continue to offer on-site repair services and to showcase the Galaxy lineup.

“We want to connect with our customers and provide them with new and engaging physical spaces that they can visit to learn more about and experience our products,” said Dave McGregor, Director of Samsung Experience Stores. “We’re committed to creating dynamic and innovative retail spaces and we’re excited unveil a fresh new look at two important locations in our retail network.”

During the renovations, customers will continue to be served by temporary locations set up near both stores. Metrotown customers will find the temporary store on the upper level of the shopping centre. Yorkdale customers will find a temporary pop-up location directly in front of the current retail site. In both temporary locations, customers will get the same services from their Samsung Experience Store, including buy online and pick up in store, and access to Samsung’s full lineup of Galaxy products.

Scheduled to re-open in mid-November, both locations will be hubs of Galaxy innovation and creativity, and home to interactive experiences for guests to learn and explore.
