Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced that approximately 80 models in its 2025 TV, monitor and soundbar lineups have received Product Carbon Reduction1 and Product Carbon Footprint2 certifications from TÜV Rheinland, a globally recognized certification organization based in Germany. This marks the fifth consecutive year that the premium lineups, Neo QLED 8K and Neo QLED, have received certifications, reinforcing the company’s continued efforts in carbon reduction.

“Samsung Electronics is committed to driving technological innovation for a sustainable future,” said Taeyong Son, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics.

Following last year’s certification of 60 models across the Neo QLED, OLED and Lifestyle TV categories, Samsung has further increased its number of certified products in 2025 to include QLED TVs. In addition, the company is also working towards obtaining certification for its Color E-Paper lineup later this year.

The certifications from TÜV Rheinland are awarded following a rigorous evaluation of a product’s entire lifecycle — including manufacturing, transportation, usage and disposal — based on internationally recognized standards. By assessing and verifying carbon emissions at each stage, these certifications highlight Samsung’s efforts to reduce environmental impact across its product lineup.

In particular, the Product Carbon Reduction certification is granted to products that have already received a Product Carbon Footprint certification and further demonstrate a measurable reduction in carbon emissions compared to their predecessors.

Samsung’s efforts to reduce its products’ carbon footprint date back to 2021, when the Neo QLED became the first 4K and higher-resolution TV to earn the Reducing CO2 certification from Carbon Trust. Since then, Samsung has continually expanded its portfolio of certified products, including QLED, Crystal UHD, Lifestyle TVs, OLED TVs and a wide range of monitors and digital signage products.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced the integration of Eclipsa Audio — a groundbreaking 3D audio technology developed in partnership with Google — into its 2025 TV and soundbar lineup. By empowering creators to craft dynamic, immersive audio content and enabling seamless playback on Samsung TVs, Eclipsa Audio brings captivating audio and visual experiences closer to consumers than ever before.

“We are proud to lead the industry with the integration of Eclipsa Audio into our 2025 TV and soundbar lineup,” said Taeyong Son, Executive Vice President and Head of the R&D Team, Visual Display Business, Samsung Electronics. “This innovation opens new possibilities for immersive audio experiences and reinforces our commitment to shaping the future of home entertainment.”

Innovating the Home Entertainment Experience

Samsung, the global leader in the TV market for 18 consecutive years[1], is redefining home entertainment with the integration of Eclipsa Audio. Samsung TVs are poised to make this new technology accessible to more consumers.

Eclipsa Audio allows creators to adjust audio data such as the location and intensity of sounds, along with spatial reflections, to create an immersive three-dimensional sound experience.

As the first in the industry to adopt Eclipsa Audio, Samsung is integrating the technology across its 2025 TV lineup — from the Crystal UHD series to the premium flagship Neo QLED 8K models — to ensure that consumers who want to experience this advanced technology can choose from a wide range of options.

Expanding Content and Playback

Starting in 2025, creators will be able to upload videos with Eclipsa Audio tracks to YouTube. Viewers with 2025 Samsung devices will be able to watch YouTube videos with premium spatial audio.

To ensure consistent audio quality, Samsung and Google are working with the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) to create a certification program for devices using Eclipsa Audio, in an effort to ensure that consumers experience the highest standards of sound fidelity.

“We believe that Eclipsa Audio has the potential to change the way we experience sound,” said Jim Bankoski, Vice President of Engineering, Google Chrome. “We are excited to see how the creator community uses it to create new and innovative audio experiences.”

Smart Features With Samsung Tizen OS for Enhanced Integration and Personalization

In 2024, Samsung’s AI screens are set to redefine the Samsung user experience with advanced connectivity and a suite of smart features, apps and platforms. Leveraging the powerful Tizen OS, these innovations have created an ecosystem that is connected andpersonalized. This allows devices to integrate effortlessly into users’ digital worlds, transforming screens into a central hub for all their needs.

Samsung’s latest TVs are designed to connect with a smart ecosystem immediately upon setup[4]. The moment users turn on their new Samsung TV, the TV recognizes and connects to existing networks and devices, all orchestrated through a simple notification on users’ smartphones. This effortless setup extends to all Samsung devices at home as well as compatible third-party appliances and IoT devices, thanks to its compatibility with HCA and Matter. This eliminates the need for extra hubs, so everything from lighting to security sensors can be managed directly from the screen.

Samsung’s 2024 screen lineup also brings integration with users’ smartphones. Users can simply bring their smartphone near the TV to activate Smart Mobile Connect, which turns the device into a universal remote for the TV and connected home appliances. Additionally, in 2024, users can use their smartphones as game controllers with a customizable user interface (UI) and haptic feedback, offering convenient and enhanced gameplay at their fingertips.

Beyond connectivity, Samsung’s 2024 Smart TVs also provide highly personalized experience with its apps and platforms. With the latest addition of widgets, TV screens are now personalized dashboards that allow users to easily monitor home status, camera feeds, energy usage, weather updates and more. Samsung is also introducing Samsung Daily+, a unified smart home platform that brings together a diverse range of apps, categorizing them into SmartThings, Health, Communication and Workspace, each aimed at elevating different facets of user lifestyles and home environments.

Security is paramount, and with Samsung Knox, features, apps, and platforms benefit from robust protection, allowing connected experiences to remain secure.

The 2024 lineup also includes the latest Q-Series Soundbar, Q990D, which boasts an 11.1.4-channel setup with Wireless Dolby Atmos.

The world of videography and filmmaking is constantly evolving, with new technologies pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. The latest of these technologies is 8K resolution video which offers a new level of detail and clarity that was previously unimaginable. With 8K, filmmakers and videographers can capture images — both above and below sea level — in incredible precision and realism, giving TV viewers a truly immersive viewing experience.

Pawel Achtel is a world-renowned professional in underwater cinematography with a career spanning over 35 years and more than 5,000 dives ranging from the equator to Antarctica

Meet Pawel Achtel, a world-renowned professional in underwater cinematography with a career spanning over 35 years and more than 5,000 dives ranging from the equator to Antarctica. The filmmaker’s extensive diving experience informs his cinematographic work — which has captured the attention of industry leaders such as National Geographic, BBC and Discovery — providing a unique perspective on life underwater and highlighting his expertise in designing and producing advanced cinematography equipment. He was also involved in capturing 8K resolution underwater sequences for “Avatar: The Way of Water.”

Samsung Newsroom sat down with Pawel Achtel to dive into the details of underwater cinematography and explore how Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K lineup is reshaping the landscape for filmmakers and viewers at home.

How 8K Technology Transforms Underwater Filmmaking

In fields like underwater cinematography, where visuals matter most, Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K is indispensable. Not only does it help viewers feel immersed in the scene, but it is also vital for filmmakers to assess underwater footage.

Due to variables like ocean currents and light refraction, filming underwater in true 8K quality can be difficult. “But, when all the circumstances line up, the results are breathtaking,” shared Achtel.

While advanced technologies like submersible lenses assist in capturing these shots, Neo QLED 8K — known for its high resolution and clarity — allows filmmakers like Achtel to closely examine even the smallest details of underwater scenes. This close look helps improve sharpness and other aspects of image quality after filming, overcoming the challenges of underwater optics.

Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K helps cinematographers closely examine details and improve picture quality

“The underwater world is elusive — and filmmakers have a rare opportunity to allow people to see it in great detail, in a way people may not see elsewhere,” said Achtel. “It makes these shots interesting and captivating as they reveal an environment completely foreign to us in stunning detail.”

Samsung made waves at CES 2024 by introducing the latest Neo QLED 8K with the new NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, delivering a cinematic experience at home. Impressed by its features, the filmmaker called the TV “a transformative advancement.”

He specifically praised features like 8K AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro,1 available on select Neo QLED 8K models, highlighting Samsung’s commitment to outstanding visuals. “Having witnessed the advanced features at CES 2024, I can confidently say they enhance realism and immersion,” added Achtel.

However, for this underwater cinematographer, the true power of 8K lies in the seamless integration of production and viewing technologies — charting a new course in content creation and consumption.

Diving Deep Into 8K Home Cinema

As the development and adoption of 8K filming equipment continues to grow, it’s also driving the creation of content that fully embraces the potential of 8K resolution. The unparalleled realism and captivating qualities of 8K make it an essential tool for storytelling, especially for content that demands a powerful visual impact.

Take underwater footage, for example, which is often played at a slower pace — giving audiences the time to absorb unfamiliar environments and take in details that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Various factors including currents and light refraction present challenges for capturing clear, beautiful shots underwater

On the Neo QLED 8K, viewers can appreciate the “impressive colour accuracy” and “nuanced portrayal of detailed scenes” of the ocean’s depths. From the calming blue water to the vivid and bright hues of fish and coral reefs, Achtel attributes the appeal of his 8K underwater imagery to the variety of striking colours and patterns. With Neo QLED 8K, the benefits now extend beyond just the content itself.

“On the viewing side, Neo QLED 8K plays a pivotal role in bringing the 8K ecosystem to life,” he explained. “It not only showcases content with remarkable clarity but also upscales lower-resolution footage to nearly 8K quality, ensuring an immersive viewing experience of the highest caliber.”

Given its advanced picture quality powered by increased neural networks and cutting-edge AI upscaling features, Neo QLED 8K elevates the viewing experience — even with content not initially captured in 8K. Combining advanced image quality with larger screen sizes also opens new possibilities for home viewing to offer an experience that rivals that of traditional big-screen setups.

In the ever-evolving landscape of visual storytelling, enhancing a TV’s ability to process non-8K content offers significant benefits and inspires filmmakers to strive for higher quality content.

“At the end of the day, having a device with an enhanced visual experience and immersive capabilities empowers cinematographers to craft and evaluate captivating content that resonates deeply with viewers,” said Achtel.

The role of 8K technology in underwater cinematography and home entertainment underscores its transformative potential to enhance visual storytelling and enrich the viewing experience for audiences around the world.

The partnership delivers popular movie trailers to thousands of global retailers, bringing cutting-edge 8K picture quality closer to consumers than ever before

A bigger TV screen is generally speaking a good thing. Over time, larger TVs have not only become more accessible but increasingly popular among consumers.

A bigger TV screen is generally speaking a good thing. Over time, larger TVs have not only become more accessible but increasingly popular among consumers. They enable viewers to fully immerse themselves in the content they’re watching, as advancements in film technology now allow our favourite stories to come to life on the screen in more realistic ways.

However, simply having a larger screen does not always result in a hyper-realistic viewing experience. As we enter the era of ultra-large TVs, Samsung Electronics has been upgrading its screen technology to provide the best in-home entertainment. To learn more about these changes, Samsung Newsroom is exploring three key features that make the large-screen experience truly exceptional.

8K Resolution: The Key to Unlocking the Full Potential of Bigger TVs

While screen sizes may be getting bigger, this does not mean that picture quality is better by default. If the size of a TV screen was increased without considering the number of pixels, the resulting image would be blurry, low-resolution and, overall, much worse.

▲ If the number of pixels does not change, image quality becomes compromised as screens grow larger.

In order to improve picture quality, the space on a bigger screen must be filled with more pixels. As such, Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K has four times the number of pixels than 4K TVs. This means that even on ultra-large screens, Samsung’s Real 8K Resolution maintains premium picture quality with densely packed Mini LEDs and upgraded processing.

▲ The Neo QLED 8K offers four times as many pixels compared to the Neo QLED 4K.

While Samsung has been at the forefront of evolving screen trends by leading the era of ultra-large TVs, it has also been innovating the technologies that power them. The two driving forces that enhance picture quality for Samsung’s latest Neo QLED 8K are the Neural Quantum Processor 8K, which analyzes and optimizes content to make full use of the 33 million pixels, and Quantum Matrix Technology Pro, which leverages a plethora of technologies to offer precise control for each of the Mini LEDs.

Neural Quantum Processor 8K: Enhancing the Resolution, Colour and Depth With 64 Neural Networks

While Samsung Neo QLED 8K TVs offer best-in-market picture quality, not all content is readily available in 8K. To ensure that every single detail springs to life on screen, Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K is powered by the state-of-the-art Neural Quantum Processor 8K to upscale lower-resolution content in real time. Samsung’s Neural Quantum Processor 8K uses 64 different neural networks to analyze video and optimize image quality. It is trained to recognize underlying patterns and relationships in pictures, transforming low-resolution images into high-resolution by comparing the original set of images to processed results in each neural network.

While higher resolution sources ultimately create better picture outputs, there may be sources that come in Standard Definition (SD or 480p), High Definition (HD or 720p) or Full High Definition (FHD or 1080p). With Samsung’s Neural Quantum Processor 8K, those shows and movies will be transformed into stunning 8K resolution to deliver the most immersive picture yet.

▲ Enjoy optimal picture quality no matter the source with Neural Quantum Processor 8K.

Samsung’s advanced processor also powers innovations such as Auto HDR Remastering, a feature that takes full advantage of the screen’s wide colour gamut and incredible peak brightness. AI technology analyzes each scene to make it more colourful and vivid, bringing out the details in both bright and dark spots.

High Dynamic Range (HDR) video formats the display using a wider range of colours with brighter highlights when compared to Standard Dynamic Range content. This means that with Auto HDR Remastering – and the extraordinary contrast powered by Quantum Matrix Technology Pro with Quantum Dot technology – everything you watch is more compelling.

▲ HDR displays a wider range of colors with brighter highlights compared to SDR.

Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K also offers Real Depth Enhancer Pro. With upgraded AI deep learning, Real Depth Enhancer Pro pinpoints where the viewer is focusing on the screen and brings that object into the foreground. With figures on the screen separated from their background, you see a more three-dimensional looking image. Additionally, the Neural Quantum Processor provides a sense of depth paired with incredible levels of detail and vivid colour reproduction, immersing you in whatever you choose to watch.

▲ Real Depth Enhancer Pro finds the point the viewer is focusing on and brings the object into the foreground.

Quantum Matrix Technology Pro: The Ultimate Precision With Quantum Mini LEDs and 14-bit Processing

Another critical piece of technology powering the Neo QLED 8K’s picture is Quantum Matrix Technology Pro, which uses Quantum Mini LEDs to dramatically enhance black levels and contrast with precise backlight control.

The Quantum Mini LED is 1/40 the size of a conventional LED. This makes for a screen that is more densely packed with LEDs, improving picture quality while maintaining the Neo QLED 8K TV’s vibrant colours and bright highlights.

▲ Precise backlight control with Quantum Matrix Technology Pro.

To provide the best image quality, 14-bit HDR processing allows for maximized contrast, expressing unimaginable levels of detail in both the brightest and darkest parts of the image. This ensures even the most subtle details are visible to users in every single scene.

Furthermore, Quantum Matrix Technology powers Samsung’s Shape Adaptive Light Control. This feature precisely adjusts backlighting to accommodate what’s on the screen, enhancing the clarity of everything you watch. Because the backlight control is so accurate, this prevents blooming – or when bright light from on-screen objects bleeds into surrounding darker areas. As a result, bright highlights stay bright and dark scenes stay dark with more details visible than ever before.

Expanding Consumers’ TV Usage

In a nutshell, 8K resolution densely fills the ultra-large screens while the Neural Quantum Processor 8K and Quantum Matrix Technology work together to create a picture that is cinematic in the truest sense. Sharp details, accurate colours, precise contrast and a realistic sense of depth allow the Neo QLED 8K to showcase stunning picture quality and captivate viewers everywhere.

To enjoy their favourite content to the fullest, more and more consumers are seeking to purchase larger TVs for their homes. According to market research firm Omdia, the global market size of 85-inch screens has grown drastically from 180,000 units sold in 2019 to 1.87 million units sold in 2022. Likewise, for 98-inch screens, the global market has increased from less than 1,000 units sold in 2019 to about 160,000 units sold in 2022.

To discuss the shifting market trend towards ultra-large TVs, Samsung Newsroom sat down with Heejin Chae, TV Product Planning, Samsung Electronics, and Sangyeob Kim, Assistant Store Manager, Samsung Store, and learned more about how Samsung Electronics is providing revamped viewing experiences through ultra-large TVs.

Bigger, Better Viewing Experiences With Wider TVs

Samsung unveiled its 2023 98-inch Neo QLED 8K at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show, offering consumers bright colours and extremely vivid details on a dazzling large screen. As standard TV sizes have grown larger over the years, Samsung has adapted to meet industry trends and consumer demands by developing ultra-large TVs for better viewing experiences.

“About ten years ago, a 60-inch TV was considered a large TV. But as time went by, 65-inch TVs became mainstream, and now 75-inch and 85-inch TVs have become popular, demonstrating consumers’ growing demand for larger TVs,” said Chae. “In fact, our customer survey showed that 75% of consumers bought, on average, a TV 13 inches bigger than their previously purchased TV model.”

The modern home television can provide access to diverse content, including games, sports, movies and fitness content. As the ability to have a more immersive experience has also become factor that consumers consider, the popularity of large TVs is expected to continue.

Heejin Chae explains how evolving consumer demands have shaped Samsung’s product offerings.

Comfortable Viewing at Closer Distances

One factor to consider when buying an ultra-large TV is the viewing distance – how far away the viewer should be from the TV, and whether that space is available at home. “As the viewing distance of the 98-inch NEO QLED TV has been shortened compared to Samsung’s previous ultra-large TVs, viewers can more comfortably watch from as close as 4 meters away,” said Kim.

Sangyeob Kim discusses how the viewing distance of a TV affects the viewing experience.

“We created a space in the Samsung Store with a sofa to simulate the viewing distance at home. We move the sofa to help customers gauge the viewing distance for smaller and larger rooms. Once the customers get a feel of how the TV would fit in their homes, they tend to prefer the larger models,” Kim added.

(From left) Heejin Chae, TV Product Planning, Samsung Electronics, and Sangyeob Kim, Samsung Store

Samsung Neo QLED 8K

Trusted Reviews compared the QN95’s capabilities to other devices on the market as well, stating that, “There’s simply no other LCD TV out there that uses local dimming that limits backlight blooming as well as the QE65QN95C.” The publication also complimented the device’s Quantum Matrix Technology, noting, “Samsung has taken things a step further with their latest Mini LED TV, which boasts a massive increase in dimming zones — and the results are nothing short of spectacular.”

Game-Changing OLED Experience Powered by Neural Quantum Processor 4K

Samsung OLED

Samsung’s mission is, in part, to meet the diverse demands of consumers by providing them with a wide variety of screens for their homes. Its latest TV lineup offers a range of premium screens, with something for every scenario and every consumer, including Samsung’s 2023 OLED TVs that offer dynamic picture quality with deep black levels and lively colors.

Samsung OLED features incredible peak brightness that does not sacrifice deep black levels or breathtaking contrast thanks in part to its advanced processing. HD Guru noted in its review that Samsung’s latest S95C enjoys, “a significant brightness boost while maintaining 100% color volume.” Home Cinema Choice also commended the S95C’s impressive color quality, giving the device a “Best Buy” distinction, and stating, “improvements in brightness and color punch have been achieved without seemingly any detriment to the deep black levels we’ve come to expect from OLED-based technologies.”

Samsung OLEDs also retain the core strengths of OLED technology while overcoming the inherent limitations of OLED’s brightness by leveraging its Neural Quantum Processor 4K. “The 77-inch S95C delivers a potent combination of quantum dot OLED vibrance, reference-level color accuracy, and hyperfast gaming,” as noted by Sound & Vision. The reviewer also recognized the Samsung dedication to innovation, noting of the S95C, “It’s been a long journey to arrive at a TV that fully expresses creative intent right out of the box, but this is it.”

Lifelike Soundstage Powered by Q-Symphony and Sound Remastering

A key component to providing cinematic at-home entertainment is rich and immersive sound that complements a lifelike picture, which Samsung delivers in full through its 2023 lineup.

Samsung 2023 TVs feature innovations such as Adaptive Sound+, which uses AI technology to remaster each sound object, ensuring all audio is clear and at just the right volume. It also continues to leverage Q-Symphony, applying AI to enhance the harmonic sound of combined TV speakers and soundbars.

Samsung’s 2023 TV lineup has received numerous recognitions for its immersive soundscape, with outlets such as Trusted Reviews commenting that, “The QE65QN95C also offers an AI-enhanced version of Samsung’s Q Symphony feature this year, too, enabling the speakers in the TV to combine with those in a Samsung soundbar more effectively to create a larger, more detailed soundstage.” The outlet rated the TV as “Highly Recommended,” and gave it five out of five stars.

Samsung continues to revolutionize the industry, reinforcing its legacy as the global leader in the TV market for 17 years. To learn more about Samsung’s 2023 TV lineup, visit https://www.samsung.com.

“Samsung has maintained its position as a global leader in the TV market for 17 years in a row[2] by providing exceptional TV viewing experiences, and these new models are no exception,” said Pat Bugos, Senior Vice President of Consumer Electronics at Samsung Canada. “Through our partnership with Dustin Gallagher, we are reimagining the term ‘TV dinner’ and providing a viewing and culinary experience like no other.”

For the launch event, guests were invited to the Samsung Experience Store at the Toronto Eaton Centre for an intimate meal prepared by Dustin. During the experience, guests were able to watch every detail of the cooking process captured in 8K, on the full range of Neo QLED 8K and OLED screens, showcasing the TVs’ superb picture quality and witnessing Dustin’s talents in unparalleled detail.

Following the event, Samsung Canada caught up with Dustin to learn about his experience and what it’s like to participate in the launch of the Samsung 2023 Premium TV lineup.

Q: Why did you partner with Samsung for the launch of its new Premium TVs?

A: I was thrilled to be asked to partner with Samsung because I appreciate their commitment to innovation and pushing the boundaries of technology. As someone who is passionate about culinary creativity and exploring new ways to bring food to life, it was a natural fit. I also leapt at the opportunity to magnify my creations on Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K and OLED screens to really showcase the beauty and intricacy of each dish. Through this event, Samsung’s screens really allowed guests to fully appreciate the artistry and presentation of each dish before they even tasted them. Partnering with a brand that shares my vision for delivering the best possible experience was an easy decision and I’m looking forward to creating more groundbreaking moments with them.

Q: What do you think of the new Samsung Premium TVs?

A: As a chef, I’m always looking for ways to elevate the dining experience and make food more enjoyable and engaging for my guests. That’s why when I first glimpsed at Samsung’s new 2023 Premium TV lineup, I could immediately appreciate how they were elevating the entertainment experience and connecting with viewers on a new level. I was blown away by the stunning clarity, detail, and colour displayed on these TVs. It was hard to believe I was looking at a TV, especially with the Infinity Screen providing an almost invisible frame on the Neo QLED 8K models! The 8K and OLED technology brought my food to life in a way I never thought possible, allowing viewers to appreciate the smallest details and nuances of each dish. It’s really amazing to see how technology can enhance the way we live, including our relationship with food.

Q: As a chef who has also appeared on TV, why is technology important when showcasing food?

A: Throughout my career, the old saying “we eat with our eyes” has consistently rang true. When a dish is set before us, our mouths immediately start to water. The way food looks, can be almost as important as its taste. When I worked and appeared on various TV shows, I witnessed firsthand how important it was to make food look good and technology was often the way to do that. Audiences expect a high level of visual and audio engagement in everything they watch, even for something as straightforward as preparing a meal. With Samsung’s new Neo QLED 8K and OLED screens, we can show viewers the beauty and artistry of food without them having to step foot in a kitchen. With true-to-life picture quality and immersive audio, Samsung’s Premium TVs really capture the essence of the ingredients I use and the care that goes into creating these meals. I think guests at the launch event left with a better understanding of the culinary process and why I love it so much thanks to the cutting-edge technology used in this Premium TV line-up.

Q: Do you believe the dining experience can be elevated by technology? If so, how?

A: We already use technology in so much of what we do in the kitchen, from sous vide machines to electronic meat thermometers, so it just makes sense to use it to share the cooking process and the end result. With technology like what we have seen in Samsung Premium TVs, we can provide guests with a visual and auditory “taste” or preview of a dish they’re about to enjoy, increasing the excitement and anticipation for it. Think of it almost like a teaser to whet the diner’s appetite! The Neo QLED 8K and OLED range have the ability to really showcase the art and creativity of cooking that resonates with people and makes them excited about food.

Q: What inspired you to create these particular dishes for Samsung?

A: When I originally experienced Samsung’s Premium TVs, the first thing that struck me was how I was able to see even the tiniest details on the screen. That’s why I was drawn to ingredients like shaved truffles in our gnocchi dish. The mushroom’s tiny veins, intricate grooves, and paper thin edges were all brought to life in vivid 8K clarity on the screens. Even the fine particles of flour that dust the fluffy gnocchi, or the potatoes as they pass through the ricer, were captured in mind-blowing detail.

From a sound perspective, I wanted guests to be able to hear every moment of the meal’s preparation. With Dolby Atmos top channel speakers integrated into both the OLED and Neo QLED 8K TVs, they were able to hear everything from fruit being juiced to the tiniest droplets of oil dancing on a pan.

Finally, I knew the new Pantone-validated screens produce lifelike colours, from the brightest whites to darkest blacks, and colour is really important in food, so I knew I had to create something that would really pop on screen. With that in mind, I prepared a beautiful and bright raspberry sorbet sitting atop a bed of exotic fruits for dessert to highlight the OLED screen’s impressive Quantum Dot technology and colour range which allows these ingredients to really shine on the screen.
