The new Square One location represents the next evolution of Samsung’s retail footprint in Canada. Starting June 22, Samsung Canada is inviting Canadians to visit the Samsung Experience Store at CF Toronto Eaton Centre. Grab a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and suit up for Can You Beat The Box – an unforgettable, immersive video game experience for the whole family.

Created in partnership with leading family experience company CAMP, Can You Beat The Box participants will team up with their digital avatar to battle for victory inside a cutting-edge augmented reality world using the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4.

Upon arrival, Can You Beat the Box participants will be suited up in protective gear and provided with a Galaxy Z Flip4 smartphone before entering The Box. Once inside – appearing in augmented reality on the Galaxy Z Flip4 – colourful balloons will float up to the ceiling. If you can zap them all, you’ll beat The Box (hint: that might be impossible!). But if too many balloons pop, you – and the customized t-shirt you’ll be wearing – will be blasted with colourful powder. High score will be displayed for all to see so come ready to play!

The game is deceptively simple, but it does test your skills! In addition, to commemorate the experience, participants will be left with an awesome, one-of-a-kind t-shirt as a souvenir and an incredible slow motion video of the powder explosion.

Two Samsung Experience Stores reopening this fall will offer customers in Ontario and British Columbia a vastly transformed shopping experience featuring interactive displays and a dazzling design.

The revamped stores at Yorkdale Mall in Toronto and Metrotown Mall in Burnaby now boast stunning interiors and enhanced retail offerings. Consumers will enjoy an immersive digital experience, surrounded by sleek displays spotlighting the latest innovative Samsung products. Each location will have new repair service centres, a new mobile transaction station, customer product training areas, designated spaces for quick and convenient pickup of online orders, and offer an opportunity to test the newest exciting Samsung technology including Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G smartphones. The stores will offer the latest in personalization and customization with the Bespoke edition for both the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G and the latest Galaxy Watch4.

The Yorkdale store reopens today, and the Metrotown Mall store is reopening in mid-November.  The temporary store at Metrotown Mall, which is located on the upper level of the shopping centre, will remain open until renovations of the main store are complete.

Beginning August 30, 2021, two popular Samsung Experience Stores will be undergoing major renovations. Store makeovers at Metrotown Mall in Burnaby, British Columbia and Yorkdale Mall in Toronto, Ontario will bring updated contemporary designs and innovative technology together in an exciting new retail experience for consumers.

At Metrotown Mall in Burnaby, the upgrade will include a brand-new service centre for on-site Samsung device repairs. At Ontario’s Yorkdale location, the renovation will help Samsung continue to offer on-site repair services and to showcase the Galaxy lineup.

“We want to connect with our customers and provide them with new and engaging physical spaces that they can visit to learn more about and experience our products,” said Dave McGregor, Director of Samsung Experience Stores. “We’re committed to creating dynamic and innovative retail spaces and we’re excited unveil a fresh new look at two important locations in our retail network.”

During the renovations, customers will continue to be served by temporary locations set up near both stores. Metrotown customers will find the temporary store on the upper level of the shopping centre. Yorkdale customers will find a temporary pop-up location directly in front of the current retail site. In both temporary locations, customers will get the same services from their Samsung Experience Store, including buy online and pick up in store, and access to Samsung’s full lineup of Galaxy products.

Scheduled to re-open in mid-November, both locations will be hubs of Galaxy innovation and creativity, and home to interactive experiences for guests to learn and explore.

This convenient Door-to-Door service includes free pick up and return shipping. In-home and In-garage service is available for other Samsung products.

We have also recently launched a Branded Service Program in Toronto and Montreal, with plans to expand into Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Ottawa, London, Windsor and Winnipeg in 2021. This unique Samsung Branded Service program provides customers with a seamless experience, including easy scheduling options and professional repair service for all consumer electronics products.
