Das Galaxy Note10 und das Galaxy Note10+ sind die bisher leistungsstärksten Smartphones der Galaxy Note-Serie. Vom eleganten Design bis hin zum professionellen Videotool, den KI-Funktionen und dem vielseitigen S Pen wurde jedes einzelne Element der neuesten Samsung Flaggschiffe optimiert, um den Nutzern ein beeindruckendes Smartphone-Erlebnis zu ermöglichen.

1. Das Design

Zum ersten Mal überhaupt stellt Samsung nicht nur ein, sondern zwei neue Galaxy Note-Modelle vor. Das 15,94 cm/6,3 Zoll¹ große Galaxy Note10 ist 0,1 Zoll kleiner als das Galaxy Note9 und eignet sich perfekt für diejenigen, die ein kompaktes Smartphone bevorzugen und nicht auf die Leistung der neuesten Galaxy Note-Serie verzichten wollen. Das 17,16 cm/6,8 Zoll² große Galaxy Note10+ ist um volle 0,4 Zoll größer als das Vorjahresmodell und verfügt über das bisher größte Galaxy Note-Display.

Beide Modelle zeichnen sich durch elegante Formen aus, die auf dem Premium-Design der Galaxy Note-Serie aufbauen. Aber was das Design des Galaxy Note10 so markant macht, lässt sich nicht nur auf das Aussehen reduzieren. Das Galaxy Note10+ ist außergewöhnlich leicht und dünn, wiegt ca. 196 Gramm³ und ist nur 7,9 mm dick.

Während des Entwicklungsprozesses hat Samsung wichtige Komponenten optimiert, um sicherzustellen, dass die Smartphones ein besonders schlankes Profil bekommen. Dazu gehören der S Pen, der durch das neue schlanke Unibody-Design leichter und abgerundeter ist als frühere Modelle, und ein weiterentwickeltes Kühlsystem, das die Hardware kühlt und das Smartphone gleichzeitig schlank hält. Mit einer Dicke von nur 0,35 mm trägt die Technologie dazu bei, die Leistung der GPU zu erhöhen und das Galaxy Note10 auch bei starker Beanspruchung kühl zu halten.

Um das elegante Design der Smartphones zu vervollständigen, hat Samsung das Tastenlayout verschlankt – die rechte Seite der Geräte ist jetzt völlig frei von Bedienelementen. Die Bixby- und Power-Taste wurden zu einer einzigen, anpassbaren Taste auf der linken Seite zusammengefasst. Anstelle einer 3,5 mm-Kopfhörerbuchse bieten die Smartphones Unterstützung für USB-C- und drahtlose Kopfhörer. Im Lieferumfang ist außerdem ein Paar USB-C-Kopfhörer enthalten.

Die neuen, fast rahmenlosen Infinity-O Displays nehmen fast die gesamte Vorderseite ein. Oben auf dem Display befindet sich eine einzelne kleine, zentrierte Kameraaussparung, die so wenig Platz wie möglich beansprucht, um die Bildschirmfläche zu maximieren. Die Platzierung der Kamera gibt dem Galaxy Note10|10+ ein symmetrisches Erscheinungsbild und sorgt für natürlich aussehende Selfies. Das Display wurde zusätzlich von den Experten von UL⁴ verifiziert. Diese bestätigen, dass das Display des Galaxy Note10|10+ eine 98-prozentige Gleichmäßigkeit bei Farbe und Helligkeit bietet.⁵

Egal, ob Nutzer Videospiele spielen, Fotos bearbeiten oder Videos ansehen: Das Dynamic AMOLED-Display des Galaxy Note10|10+ bietet Nutzern eine unvergleichliche Bildqualität – mit ausgezeichneter Helligkeit, Kontrast und Farbe, selbst in den hellsten Umgebungen. Das Display und Smartphone sind zudem durch die Verwendung von Gorilla® Glass 6 auf der Vorder- und Rückseite robust und langlebig.

2. Die Leistung

Samsung ergänzt das schlanke Design des Galaxy Note10|10+ um eine extrem hohe Leistung.

Dank der verbesserten Super Schnellladefunktion (bis zu 45W)⁶ gehören lange Ladezeiten mit dem Galaxy Note10+ der Vergangenheit an. Das Smartphone unterstützt außerdem Wireless PowerShare und Induktives Schnellladen 2.0.⁷

Mit Hilfe der Super Schnellladefunktion ist das Smartphone innerhalb von 30 Minuten für viele Stunden aufgeladen. So können Nutzer spielen, streamen, surfen oder Videos aufnehmen und bearbeiten, ohne sich Gedanken um die Akkulaufzeit zu machen.⁸

Samsung hat seine neuen Flaggschiffe außerdem mit einer KI-Technologie ausgestattetet, die die Leistung des Smartphones basierend auf den Nutzungsgewohnheiten der Anwender optimiert. Eines der besten Beispiele dafür ist der von der NPU (Neural Processing Unit) betriebene Game Booster. Die Technologie passt die Leistung und den Stromverbrauch individuell auf das laufende Spiel an. Das schont nicht nur den Akku, sondern ermöglicht auch längeren Spielspaß.

Die Geräte verfügen außerdem über einen 7 nm Prozessor der nächsten Generation, der die CPU- und GPU-Leistung im Vergleich zum Galaxy Note9 um bis zu 33 bzw. 42 Prozent steigert und dazu beiträgt, dass Spiele schnell laufen sowie Videos flüssig wiedergegeben werden. Zusätzlich verfügen die Smartphones über sogenannte Boot up Booster, eine KI-basierte App-Launch-Technologie, die die am häufigsten verwendeten Apps der Nutzer identifiziert und im RAM speichert, damit diese ohne Verzögerung starten können. Die Funktion analysiert die Nutzungsmuster der vorherigen Woche und aktualisiert jeden Tag automatisch die Datenbank mit häufig verwendeten Apps.

Das Galaxy Note10 verfügt über 256 GB integrierten Speicher (ca. 224,6 GB frei verfügbar), während das Galaxy Note10+ mit 256 GB und 512 GB (ca. 224,2 GB bzw. 461,4 GB frei verfügbar)⁹ erhältlich ist und microSD-Karten mit bis zu 1 TB Speicher¹⁰ unterstützt. Dank der beiden Konnektivitätsoptionen 4G und 5G surfen Nutzer mit den schnellsten verfügbaren Netzwerkgeschwindigkeiten.¹¹

3. Der S Pen

Das Galaxy Note10|10+ hebt den charakteristischen S Pen auf die nächste Stufe. Die neue Generation bietet fortschrittliche Gerätesteuerung, eine Akkulaufzeit von bis zu zehn Stunden und eine Reihe weiterer Verbesserungen, die die Kreativität fördern, um das Leben von Samsung Kunden einfacher, organisierter und vernetzter zu gestalten.

Im letzten Jahr hat Samsung den S Pen um Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) erweitert. Nutzer können seitdem wichtige Gerätefunktionen aus der Ferne steuern. Die neue Generation geht noch einen Schritt weiter: Eine komplett neue Gestensteuerung ermöglicht es Nutzern zum Beispiel, in der Kamera-App den Kameramodus zu wechseln, zu zoomen oder den Mediaplayer ihrer Wahl zu bedienen.

Die Funktionsweise ist einfach: Zeichnen Nutzer mit ihrem S Pen beispielsweise einen Kreis in die Luft, können sie in eine Aufnahme hinein- oder herauszoomen oder durch eine Aufwärtsbewegung von der Front- zur Hauptkamera wechseln. Und das Beste daran: Anwender können die Gestensteuerung des S Pen auf ihre Vorlieben anpassen.

Das Galaxy Note10|10+ macht das Notieren auf einem Smartphone noch einfacher. Durch Tippen auf ihre handschriftlichen Notizen können Nutzer diese noch leichter in Text umwandeln und exportieren, um sie in Anwendungen wie Microsoft Word weiter zu bearbeiten. Die Umwandlung von Handschrift in Text ist dank einer Deep-Learning-Datenbank und einer fortschrittlichen Analyse-Technologie für das Dokumentenlayout ebenso einfach wie präzise.

Nutzer können ihre Notizen auch anpassen, um Ideen oder wichtige Punkte hervorzuheben. Über eine Zoom-Geste verkleinern oder vergrößern sie handschriftliche Notizen und mit dem Quick-Highlighter werden diese hervorgehoben. Auch das Screen Off-Memo wurde aktualisiert und bietet dem Nutzer nun eine Vielzahl an Farboptionen.

4. Die Kamera

Heutzutage drehen und teilen Smartphone-Nutzer mehr Videos als je zuvor. Um Konsumenten bei der Aufnahme und Erstellung atemberaubender Inhalte zu unterstützen, stattet Samsung das Galaxy Note10 und Galaxy Note10+ mit jeweils einer Frontkamera und einer rückseitigen Triple- bzw. Quad-Kamera auf Profiniveau aus.

Zu den herausragenden Merkmalen gehört die Audio Zoom-Funktion. Dabei handelt es sich um eine KI-gesteuerte Funktion, die das Zoomen auf ein völlig neues Niveau hebt, indem sie die Audioquellen im Kamerabild verstärkt. So können Nutzer, wenn sie an das Motiv ihres Videos heranzoomen, auch die Stimme des jeweiligen Sprechers verstärken und Hintergrundgeräusche minimieren.

Der Bildschirmrecorder ermöglicht es Kreativen, mit dem S Pen Live-Notizen zu ihrem Video hinzuzufügen. Die Funktion eignet sich perfekt für Gamer, Entwickler oder Vlogger, die ihre Tutorials verbessern möchten. Für noch mehr Authentizität sorgt der Bild-in-Bild-Modus, mit dem kreative Nutzer persönliche Reaktionen auf jeweilige Bildinhalte festhalten können.

Wie der Bildschirmrecorder wurde auch die neue Funktion AR-Zeichnung des Galaxy Note10 für die Erstellung einzigartiger Inhalte entwickelt. Die Funktion bietet Nutzern die Möglichkeit, per S Pen Augmented-Reality-Zeichnungen, Effekte und Animationen zu erstellen und zu Videos hinzuzufügen. Durch Algorithmen zur räumlichen Analyse von Bildern und Videos können sogar bewegliche Objekte als Leinwand für die AR-Zeichnung genutzt werden. In diesem Fall verfolgt der Bildsensor des Galaxy Note10 das Objekt und stellt sicher, dass die Zeichnung am richtigen Platz bleibt. Mit der Option „Gesicht“ erstellen Nutzer eigene Selfie-Filter, während sie mit der Option „Überall“ lustige AR-Illustrationen zur Welt um sich herum hinzufügen können.

Mit der VGA-3D-Tiefenkamera des Galaxy Note10+ können Anwender ihr Motiv als 3D-Modell erfassen und es nahtlos in Fotos oder Videos einbinden.¹² So könnte beispielsweise ein Action-Figurensammler vor der Reise 3D-Scans seiner Figuren erstellen und sie während der Reise in Videos einfügen, um seinen Clips einen ganz neuen Anstrich zu verpassen.

Mit Live-Fokus-Video können Nutzer jetzt auch in Videos den Bokeh-Effekt für stilisierte, unscharfe Hintergründe einfügen. Die Action Cam-Videostabilisierung wurde ebenfalls verbessert und bietet nun Unterstützung für den Zeitraffer-Modus sowie eine verbesserte Abtastrate (von 500 MHz auf 833 MHz), die flüssigere und natürlichere Videos ermöglicht.

Darüber hinaus verfügt die Galerie App auf dem Galaxy Note10 über einen brandneuen, integrierten Videoeditor, mit dem Nutzer Übergangseffekte, lizenzfreie Musik, Textfelder und Zeichnungen in wenigen Schritten zu ihren Videos hinzufügen können.

5. Das Galaxy Ökosystem

Samsung erweitert das Galaxy Ökosystem kontinuierlich um Produkte, die sich untereinander vernetzen lassen und Nutzer im Alltag unterstützen. Das nahtlose Zusammenspiel des Galaxy Note10 mit der Galaxy Watch Active2 ist ein sehr gutes Beispiel dafür.

Die Galaxy Watch Active2 verfügt über einen praktischen Camera Controller.¹³ Mit der App können Nutzer die Kamera des Smartphones vom Handgelenk auslösen, die Videoaufnahme starten, Vorschaumaterial ansehen, zwischen Front- und Hauptkamera wechseln, den Selbstauslöser einstellen und das endgültige Foto oder Video überprüfen.

Dank der überarbeiteten Version von Samsung DeX haben Nutzer die Möglichkeit, das Galaxy Note10 an einen PC oder Mac anzuschließen, um kompatible Android-Anwendungen zusätzlich auf dem Monitor zu sehen und mit Maus und Tastatur zu arbeiten. Nach der Verbindung können sie Dateien außerdem per Drag-and-Drop einfachen zwischen ihrem Smartphone und dem PC verschieben.

Mit der Link zu Windows-App können Nutzer ihr Galaxy Note10 darüber hinaus ganz einfach mit ihrem PC verbinden – die App erscheint dabei zur Übersicht auch in der Schnellbenachrichtigungsleiste des Smartphones. Anwender können den Bildschirm ihres Telefons spiegeln, sich Benachrichtigungen am Computer anzeigen lassen, Nachrichten empfangen und senden¹⁴ oder Fotos direkt von Ihrem Computer synchronisieren.¹⁵

Zu guter Letzt hebt Samsung mit PlayGalaxy Link das mobile Gaming auf die nächste Stufe. Mit dem Dienst verpassen Gamer auch unterwegs keine Sekunde ihres Spiels. PlayGalaxy Link ermöglicht es Anwendern, das Spielgeschehen vom Computer auf ihr Smartphone zu streamen und mit dem Galaxy Note10 dort anzuknüpfen, wo sie das Spiel am PC unterbrochen haben – ohne lokalen Speicher zu belegen.
