The innovation of the Galaxy Note8’s design makes possible the 6.3-inch Infinity Display. Without obstructive bezels or physical buttons, the display seamlessly blends into the device’s body, adding to the phone’s eye-catching aesthetic while improving its functionality.

The Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display takes more than 83 percent of the body of the device, making it the biggest screen on a Note device yet. Available in four stunning colors, including the all-new Deepsea Blue, as well as Midnight Black, Orchid Gray and Maple Gold, the Galaxy Note8 has a premium look that fits almost any style.

Each color is enhanced by the glossy finishing of the phone’s materials, which was created through an intensive polishing process. The polishing was also applied to the frame of the Galaxy Note8, allowing for a seamless flow between the front and back sides of the device. The texture of the material is smooth to the touch, creating a sense of comfort.

Note-Worthy Accessories

The accessories of the Galaxy Note8 are designed to both protect the phone and offer a contemporary look and feel that fit a wide array of lifestyles. Many of the phone’s accessories have been designed to focus on the standing function of the Galaxy Note8 to enable users to more comfortably watch their favorite shows and movies on the device’s large screen.

The Galaxy Note8’s brand sound has also been updated to better harmonize with the design of the device. The tune merges a “Pen Beat,” a rhythm made by drumming the S Pen on various items, and beat-boxing to produce a catchy and millennial-esque melody perfect for a ringtone or daily alarm.

Enhanced Case Lineup Adds Functionality and Personalization

Samsung’s diverse case and cover offerings merge protection and style, adding greater personalization through refined new materials.

The all-new Alcantara Covers are fashioned from genuine Alcantara – a material oft used in the automotive, fashion and design industries for its elegance, comfort and practicality. Alcantara cases offer durable, suede-like looks with a texture that’s soft to the touch. Also new for 2017 are the silky matte Silicone Covers that offer sleek, lightweight protection in several vivid colors that cater to modern millennials’ style preferences.

The Clear View Standing Cover and LED View Cover for the Galaxy S8 are both covers that allow users to swipe to control calls, music and more, without having to open it up. The dedicated set of theme curations and designs, including exclusive backgrounds and apps that come along with the cases, offer further opportunities for users to personalize their phones.

The translucent matte Clear View Standing Cover also doubles as a kickstand that props the device up into a widescreen position, providing optimized content viewing on the go. The Kate Spade NY Liquid Glitter Case combines unique personal style with a playful sophistication, thanks to the glitter that floats around inside the case, resembling a snow globe. The Adidas Performance Arm Band, with its unique lightweight design, provides adjustable protection for the Galaxy S8 so users can stay focused on their run. The TUMI Leather CoMold Case, available in black and red, features a slim, premium quality coated canvas with raised edges to provide additional drop protection for your S8 or S8+.

Located in Taiwan and Singapore, the Samsung x LINE FRIENDS pop-up stores feature new accessories and offer guests fun Galaxy product experiences.

As part of a partnership formed last year, Samsung and popular messaging app LINE have collaborated to open a pair of pop-up stores in Taiwan and Singapore. Featuring new accessories, plenty of fun Galaxy product experiences and appearances by the adorable LINE FRIENDS characters, the stores provide an enjoyable time for all ages.

Taiwan’s pop-up store can be found at the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store in Taipei and will run through February 28, while Singapore’s is located at the Westgate Samsung Experience Store and will be open through April 2.

With the purchase of a Galaxy A, customers can receive a free LINE FRIENDS case in Taiwan or a battery pack in Singapore.

Visitors also have the option to use the Galaxy A to take selfies in front of a mirror, or snap a fun, 360-degree photo with LINE FRIENDS characters using the Gear 360.

The pop-up stores’ Gear VR 4D Experience Zones take visitors on a fun and immersive virtual roller coaster ride with their favorite LINE FRIENDS characters.

Currently available in select Southeast Asian markets, the Samsung x LINE FRIENDS accessory collection will soon be available in other countries as well.

The pop-up stores allow guests to get their hands on the Galaxy A, and use the just-released smartphones to snap fun selfies in front of a mirror.

Some of Samsung Electronics’ latest mobile and entertainment accessories, available exclusively online, will be rolled out in markets worldwide beginning in November.

The six accessories – currently available in Korea – range from wireless speakers and earphones to charging accessories. Designed with style, comfort and performance in mind, the exclusive items were created to both enhance users’ mobile experience and help them get more out of their devices.

Among the headliners of the online collection is the Wireless Speaker Bottle design, which cuts a pleasing figure and comes outfitted with features to add more joy to the listening experience.

The speaker’s 360-degree surround sound immerses listeners in rich audio, while wireless charging and a motion-sensitive UX make controlling and powering it a breeze.

When holding the speaker, for example, a water-pouring motion will adjust the built-in 16M-color LED lighting unit’s brightness, while a simple shake will change its color. The unit is completely customizable via the accompanying Lux Manager App*, which allows users to find the perfect hue to accentuate both the moment and their mood.

Samsung has also introduced a number of accessories to help users power their devices more effectively.

The Wireless Charger Tray design allows users to top-up two devices at once (three if the cable charging port is used), and at just 17.8mm thick, is a subtle way to turn a desk, table or nightstand into a convenient power hub. Charging begins as soon as a wireless-enabled device, such as a smartphone or the aforementioned Wireless Speaker Bottle design, is placed on top.

The Battery Pack Kettle design introduces a considered and colorful take on mobile charging. Available in 5,100mAh and 10,200mAh variations, and a choice of coral pink or mint blue, the kettle-shaped battery features a convenient LED status indication to keep tabs on remaining power, a wrist strap to add to comfort and portability, and kickstand cables that allow users to prop up their phones and enjoy media while they charge.

Users of the Battery Pack Kettle design will find that their batteries achieve further functionality when paired with the USB LED Light. Plug it in to the Kettle to transform it into a handy and stylish lantern, or connect the light to other devices with USB ports for a convenient and portable lighting solution.

In addition to the Wireless Speaker Bottle design, Samsung has introduced the Wireless Speaker Scoop design: a compact and stylish speaker built for enjoying powerful audio on the go.

Easy to carry and equipped with a practical strap, the Scoop’s splash resistance and sleek, understated design make it more than suitable for streaming both in and outdoors. Intuitive controls allow you to effortlessly find your favorite tunes, while the built-in microphone and noise-reduction and echo-cancellation technologies mean users can field calls without reaching for their phone.

Lastly, the In-ear Headphones Rectangle design pack likewise powerful sound into another sleek and portable package. With a sturdy, fabric-and-metal construction highlighted by a tangle-free flat fabric cable and DLM (double-layered motion) structured speakers for top-notch sound, the earphones demonstrate both refined design and balanced, high-quality audio.

The LINE FRIENDS collaboration accessories — covers for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, a wireless charger and an external battery pack — have already launched in Korea, with more than 10 other countries around Asia and the Middle East soon to follow.

To celebrate the launch, Samsung and LINE FRIENDS are providing a chance for fans to meet the LINE FRIENDS characters in the real world. Fans can get hands-on with these LINE FRIENDS accessories and enjoy the character story with the Gear VR experience at the Samsung Experience Studio in Taiwan and at the LINE FRIENDS Garosu-gil Store in Seoul.

The Samsung x LINE FRIENDS collaboration features a new story about the sun of the LINE FRIENDS planet dimming and needing recharging. It turns out their sun is actually a Galaxy S7, but its battery is running low, so Brown and Cony need to fly a wireless charging stand to the Galaxy S7 sun and recharge it.

Furthermore, Samsung introduced LINE FRIENDS versions of the Gear S2 watch face, with LINE FRIENDS characters. They can be downloaded at the Galaxy Apps.
