Here, attendees embarked on a visual and gustatory journey into the kitchen of Club des Chefs’ president Michel Troisgros via a virtual reality experience with Samsung’s Gear VR.

Afterwards, world-renowned chefs Elena Arzak and Modest Amaro joined Troisgros to treat guests to a live cooking demonstration of some of their favorite dishes. After getting the chance to interact with the Michelin-starred culinary masters, attendees were able to sample the tasty treats that were prepared using the Samsung Chef Collection kitchen appliances. Once again, Samsung will be based at Hall B of CityCube Berlin (CCB), right at the south entrance of the Berlin ExpoCenter City site.

The fun kicks off on September 3 with a major Press Conference (invitation only), announcing several exciting new products. You can check out the livestream of the press conference on YouTube at 11am local time (5am EST).

The Samsung Gear S2 Showcase will also be happening in Berlin, with the invitation-only event occurring at the Tempodrom on September 3 at 7pm (doors open at 6pm).

Another popular feature that’s returning is the Cine des Chefs event, taking place on September 4 and 5.

In addition, Samsung will be hosting several events from the main IFA Event Stage throughout the consumer expo.

Samsung Smart Lounge, a space for IT and tech journalists and bloggers to work, relax, and network, will be available during the event. With plenty of seats, Wi-fi, charging stations and other offerings, the Smart Lounge is a popular oasis in the middle of the hustle and rush of IFA.

Finally, Samsung will have a major presence around Berlin from September 2 to 9 with four Experience Zones—at two BMW showrooms, Café BaseCamp and the Boulevard Shopping Mall.  At these locations, visitors can experience Samsung’s latest immersive  products and technologies through the Gear VR.

Put all these events together, and this year’s IFA is shaping up to be another amazing showcase to show how Samsung Electronics’ newest appliances are helping to enrich and transform people’s lives.
