The LINE FRIENDS collaboration accessories — covers for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, a wireless charger and an external battery pack — have already launched in Korea, with more than 10 other countries around Asia and the Middle East soon to follow.

To celebrate the launch, Samsung and LINE FRIENDS are providing a chance for fans to meet the LINE FRIENDS characters in the real world. Fans can get hands-on with these LINE FRIENDS accessories and enjoy the character story with the Gear VR experience at the Samsung Experience Studio in Taiwan and at the LINE FRIENDS Garosu-gil Store in Seoul.

The Samsung x LINE FRIENDS collaboration features a new story about the sun of the LINE FRIENDS planet dimming and needing recharging. It turns out their sun is actually a Galaxy S7, but its battery is running low, so Brown and Cony need to fly a wireless charging stand to the Galaxy S7 sun and recharge it.

Furthermore, Samsung introduced LINE FRIENDS versions of the Gear S2 watch face, with LINE FRIENDS characters. They can be downloaded at the Galaxy Apps.
