The Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ have been designed to help users do more across all aspects of their lives. To further customize those experiences, the Good Lock app provides a wide range of features so that users can make their devices their own.

With all Good Lock apps now updated to support Samsung’s latest Android 11 based devices,1 Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ users can enjoy even more device customization. Read on for several highlights of the latest features available on Good Lock.

Keep Things Horizontal With MultiStar’s ‘Rotate with our best’

There’s nothing more inconvenient than when you have your Galaxy Tab S7 or S7+ propped up on your keyboard cover and the app you want to open doesn’t support landscape mode, meaning you have to manually re-orient your tablet.

With the MultiStar feature’s ‘Rotate with our best’2 option, you can use all apps, even those that don’t normally support landscape mode, at horizontal orientations on your tablet.

The MultiStar feature also offers other helpful functionalities for seamless experiences. ‘Enable multi window to all apps’ lets you open up multiple apps in pop-up or split-screen views, while ‘Pop-up view action’ allows you to switch between pop-up and full-screen views with a simple swipe from the top of your screen. ‘Immersive Mode’, new to Good Lock in 2021, lets you hide status and navigation bars when in split-screen view.

Enjoy Better Device Controls With One Hand Operation+

In order to make tablet usage more comfortable, the One Hand Operation+ feature3 adds gesture handles to your tablet screen so that you can easily control your tablet one-handed.

With this feature, you can enable a thin gesture handle on either side of your screen and customize it to perform actions like loading the previous page in your browser or turning off the display.

You can even customize a gesture handle to take a screenshot, a functionality that otherwise requires you to use the ‘Palm swipe to capture’ feature.

Customize Your Color Palette With Theme Park

Everyone has their own personal tastes when it comes to color palettes, and from our clothes to our tablets, we all enjoy matching every aspect of our lives to our aesthetic.

This is where the Theme Park feature4 comes in. Theme Park lets you easily customize your Galaxy Tab S7 or S7+’s wallpaper, keyboard and Quick panel theme– an expansion of the Quick panel customization available previously via Good Lock’s QuickStar feature.

Personalize Your Keyboard With Keys Cafe

Finally, in order to provide you with keyboard experiences optimized to your needs and preferences, the Keys Cafe feature5 was launched last October.

Keys Cafe lets you customize your keyboard’s layout and offers various fun keyboard themes and effects. You can even customize your keyboard with bespoke shortcuts. Say you’re taking notes for class. With Keys Cafe, you can include a keyboard shortcut that lets you seamlessly insert today’s date or paste the last thing copied to the clipboard without disrupting your workflow.

1 Good Lock is currently available in 15 countries. Some Good Lock apps may not be available in certain markets and feature availability may vary depending on One UI version being run on a user’s device.

2 Enable this feature by entering the Good Lock app and selecting Unit > MultiStar > I ♡ Galaxy Tablet > Rotate with our best. User will then be prompted to choose When, Who, and How to enable the feature.

Simply pop a ‘pen’ out from your device and immediately start writing – Samsung Electronics’ innovative idea that came to life with the inclusion of the S Pen in the company’s Galaxy Note series 10 years ago has since provided users with unique and enriching device experiences.

Since then, the S Pen has undergone multiple innovations to transform it from a mere stylus into an independent device of its own. For example – you no longer need to rely on just your smartphone to take a picture; the S Pen can do that for you.

The 10 years that have passed since the debut of the S Pen have been filled with countless innovations and challenges. Follow along with us as we chart the evolution of this significant stylus, from its debut as a simple smartphone accessory to its latest form as its own singular category of device.

Identity: How the S Pen has Taken on Real Pen-Like Qualities

The S Pen is designed to provide the experience of writing with a real pen. Since its debut with the first Galaxy Note device in 2011, the S Pen has continued to provide improved pressure sensitivity from 256, 1024, and 2048 levels to a remarkable 4096 sensitivity level. Pressure sensitivity determines how much you can vary the width of the lines you draw with your S Pen; the higher it is, the more precisely the stylus will respond to your control. The S Pen’s high pressure sensitivity allows you to control the stroke weight of your stylus as you apply varying amounts of pressure to your screen, and the diameter of the S Pen’s tip has also been reduced over the years from 1.6mm to 0.7mm so as to allow for delicate strokes when drawing.

When it comes to notetaking, every user has their own habits, be it using a specific highlighter to mark important passages in a text or preferring a slim pen tip for writing. The S Pen, which initially provided four pen types – Pen, Pencil, Brush and Highlighter – today offers a wide variety of pen options, including Calligraphy and Fountain pen options. The true-to-life S Pen experience even comes with a different writing sound for each pen option you choose, and the sound effect of a pen cap closing when the S Pen is re-inserted into the device provides a satisfying, realistic feel, too. Furthermore, the eye-dropper tool, which makes it easy to lift colors from within a Note, has also been added for easy pen color customization.

As the S Pen continued to evolve, a built-in battery was added for optimized usage and user convenience. Users need simply plug their S Pen back into their device to automatically charge it; Galaxy Note20 users can enjoy a fully charged S Pen in just 7 minutes, with a standby time of 24 hours.1

Further to these innovations, it is the S Pen’s response time that truly grants it that life-like writing experience. In one of Samsung’s latest mobile devices, the S Pen features AI technologies that bolster the pen’s acceleration and gyro sensors in order to predict pen movement and improve accuracy, resulting in a response time that is 80% faster than the previous model. Combined with a 120Hz display, this faster S Pen provides a remarkably smooth user experience.

Performance: Evolving from a Simple Stylus to a Pen

Over the past 10 years, the S Pen has developed into a versatile pen with a wide range of features. One such highlight of this evolution is the S Pen’s Air Command menu. When you eject the S Pen or click its button, a series of essential S Pen feature icons appear on-screen. These days, the Air Command menu emerges in a line, as opposed to the fan shape that earlier models featured, in order to display more icons at once. Users can even customize the actions and icons that appear so as to enjoy effortless and instant access to their most frequently used features.

Colorful messages written down using the Screen off memo feature

Another notable S Pen functionality is the Screen off memo function, which was included to broaden the horizon of quick notetaking. This feature lets users write their notes down directly onto the lock screen once they have popped out their S Pen. The resulting Note is then kept on the Always On Display, or saved to Samsung Notes, and over the years, this feature has seen more options for pen tips, colors and canvas size included to help you capture your inspiration in real time.

The Galaxy Note9’s S Pen is powered by a Super Capacitor, which provides ultra-fast charging and supports Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE)

Following the application of various improvements and innovations since its inception, the S Pen has evolved to truly became a device of its own. The revolutionized S Pen features Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) connectivity, meaning that users can control their music, camera app and more directly from their S Pen within a certain radius – similar to a remote control.

In recent years, the S Pen has only seen more expansions to its scope. The introduction of S Pen Air actions allows users to control their smartphone’s applications by pressing their S Pen’s button. With Air actions, you can harness intuitive actions to switch between camera and shooting modes, zoom in or out of a shot and execute a variety of other convenient functions – all with customizable gestures.

With the very latest S Pen models, gesture control has only gotten easier with the introduction of five Anywhere actions. Users can now customize actions for the Back, Home, Recent App, Smart Select and Screen Write commands, making the S Pen more helpful for device control than ever before.

Design: Write Intuitively, With Style

From a rounded form to a flat symmetrical design to a unibody type, Samsung has constantly been refining the design of the S Pen for more seamless pen handling and the most comfortable writing experiences possible. As a result, the S Pen has developed to be an ergonomic pen that allows users a relaxed grip. Today’s S Pen boasts a sleeker appearance thanks to its elegant, unibody design, and its very latest iteration is the lightest and thinnest S Pen yet, coming in at just 3.04g and 5.8mm.

Galaxy Note9 packaging featuring S Pen imagery

The development of an S Pen that came in a range of color options came about to satisfy those users looking to showcase their personality through their devices. Each color option even matched the corresponding device’s S Pen slot. One such highlight saw a clear ocean-blue device paired with a vivid yellow S Pen, with the corresponding packaging summarizing the evolution of the S Pen so far by featuring the stylus on the front of its box to establish that the S Pen truly is the key identifier of Samsung’s smartphone products.

In order to provide users with the most lifelike pen experience possible, Samsung has been working with a range of pen makers in order to provide different types of S Pen. One result of these efforts is the Lamy Safari Stylus S Pen, a hybrid between the classic S Pen and the world-famous fountain pen brand’s signature product that featured a thinner nib for more precise writing experiences. Another unique S Pen product came about through a collaboration with South Korea’s national ballpoint brand, Monami. This S Pen featured several features bespoke to a Monami pen, including a nib that could be safely stored when not in use. Such collaborations provide users with unique color and design preferences more choice when it comes to customizing their own S Pen experiences.

Ecosystem: Diversifying the S Pen’s Canvas Options

The Galaxy Tab S7 series’ S Pen

These days, you can enjoy the versatility of the S Pen on larger screens such as tablets and laptops as well as on your smartphone. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A and S series include an S Pen, as does the Galaxy Book, allowing users to take advantage of their S Pen on increasingly larger canvases. The S Pen models included with Samsung’s tablets and laptops have been developed differently to those developed for smartphones, featuring a rounded, unibody design and a glossy finish.

Users of Galaxy Tab S6 and S7 devices can easily store their S Pen on the side and back (respectively) of their tablets thanks to their magnetic storage feature, making it easier to keep track of your S Pen and also providing a simple way for you to charge your S Pen.

The expansion of the S Pen ecosystem also comes with more opportunities for pro-level S Pen usage. The Galaxy Tab S7 is the first to come pre-loaded with Clip Studio Paint, a professional drawing app for illustration, webtoon and animation production, Noteshelf, a dedicated note-taking app, and Canva, a graphic design app. Accordingly, the S Pen is today playing a key role in transforming the tablet into a device capable of servicing any user’s tastes and interests.

The S Pen has become the key identifying feature of the Galaxy Note series and Samsung’s latest tablet line-ups, but this has been taken a step further following its launch along with the Galaxy S21 Ultra earlier this year. The very latest Galaxy S line device provides users with such S Pen benefits as drawing, notetaking and video editing; S21 Ultra users can take advantage of the delicate touch granted by the S Pen for precise and elaborate video editing capabilities unachievable by human fingers alone. The inclusion of the S Pen in an S series device is an innovation that improves both device portability and productivity, and going forward, Samsung is determined to bring the outstanding performance of the S Pen into a wider range of categories for more seamless mobile experiences.

Since its conception, the S Pen has been a landmark innovation. An elegant instrument that lets users create to their heart’s content on their digital screens, the evolution of this delicate stylus over the past decade has seen the S Pen grow into an independent smart device of its own. Stay tuned to find out how the S Pen is set to develop further and provide users with even more means of self-expression.

Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ are versatile tablets designed to provide users with seamless and connected device experiences for work as well as for play.

Following a range of ecosystem-empowering updates that came to Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ last month, several new exciting updates are set to provide users with even more enjoyable S Pen and Galaxy Buds Pro experiences.

Do More With Your S Pen

As part of a software update coming in Q1 2021,1 you will be able to enjoy more continuous experiences with your S Pen. Text box areas conventionally serviced with keyboards – such as address boxes – will now be able to be filled in using your S Pen.2 This means that anything you write in them will instantly be converted into digital text, including punctuation marks – you need to simply draw a ‘v’ between words to leave a space and draw ‘⌒’ to connect separate words.

For more natural note-taking experiences in Samsung Notes, a new pen type is also coming as part of this upcoming software update. Once selected,3 the ‘Pen to text’ option lets you jot down your handwritten notes and will instantly convert them into digital text.

Available in over 80 languages4 and able to detect any punctuation and spacing, the ‘Pen to text’ option removes any need for you to put down your S Pen when using Samsung Notes and provides you with more typing tool choices.

Simply Snap, Scan, and Edit With Samsung Notes

Those who use their Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ to scan documents will appreciate being able to scan documents using the Camera app on their devices. As part of the latest update, this tool just got much easier to access for those looking to scan and edit a document in Samsung Notes. Simply tap the ‘Attach’ icon in the app, scan your document, and get to work making notes directly on the scanned document.

Samsung’s latest tablet devices, Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+, are packed with a versatile range of productivity and connectivity features to help users connect and get more done on their own terms.

With the latest One UI 3 software update, announced at the recent Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event, Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ users can do even more with their tablets and enhance their connected experiences with the newly-launched Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy Buds Pro1.

Share More Seamlessly Across Your Devices

You can now move across devices more seamlessly than ever before2 –between your Galaxy Tab S7 or S7+ and Galaxy S213 – as you can easily copy text or images on your smartphone and instantly paste the content onto your Tab S7 or S7+ – and vice versa.

You can also enjoy uninterrupted continuation of your Samsung Internet browsing and faster auto-sync of Samsung Notes across connected devices. This helps when you are browsing on your Galaxy S21, you want to continue what you are doing on a bigger display. After browsing a webpage on your Galaxy S21 device, click the ‘Recents’ button on your Galaxy Tab S7 or S7+. With a simple tap of the Samsung Internet icon on the menu’s bottom right, your most recently accessed page will load.4

Get More Done with a Second Screen

Sometimes when working or creating remotely, two screens are better than one. In order to easily extend your screen space, you can harness the Second screen feature to connect your Galaxy Tab S7 or S7+ with your laptop5 through a range of different modes. Extend mode lets you connect to your Windows PC and work across two different apps on each screen, while Duplicated mode lets you share the apps or documents you have open on your tablet directly to your laptop screen and instantly save any changes straight to your laptop.

Enjoy Your Streamlined Galaxy Ecosystem

In order to provide a more convenient keyboard experience across devices, you can now take advantage of the Wireless Keyboard Sharing6 feature, which allows you to connect your Book Cover Keyboard to your smartphone7 as well as your tablet device and effortlessly switch between the two8. You can also harness the Keyboard’s touchpad to control and manage your smartphone with the cursor as you would your tablet.

Earphone users will know the inconvenience of having to manually disconnect and reconnect their earphones when switching devices. This is where the Auto Switch functionality comes in, which allows you to enjoy media on your Galaxy Buds Pro across devices much quicker by automatically switching connections9. For example, if you get a call while you’re watching YouTube on your Tab S7 or S7+, your Galaxy Buds Pro will automatically switch to your smartphone. You can answer the call by tapping the Buds once or pressing the “Call” button on your smartphone.

It’s the time of year where we send our loved ones special messages to remind them that, despite the rough year that has passed, we are always thinking of them. Digital calligraphy, a craft that results in hand-made and easily shareable pieces of digital art, is an ideal way to share the love this holiday season.

The Galaxy Tab S7+ is the perfect tool amid these imperfect times of late to hone your calligraphy skills on thanks to its wide variety of tools, colors and editing options. Take a look at the video below to see how calligraphy artist Kanggrim crafts a special end-of-year digital drawing on the Galaxy Tab S7+.

Once you’ve made your tool selection, it’s time for step two – get writing! As you go about putting your words down, you can easily erase and undo your mistakes with a tap and harness the Selection tool to adjust the dimensions of your writing.

Step three is where the fun really starts – it’s time to decorate! Once you’re satisfied with your text, you can add a background fill color, customize the color of individual words and even harness different pen styles to add fun decorations to your message.

Designed to allow users to heighten their productivity and bring their ideas to life wherever they may be, the Galaxy Tab S7+ is revolutionizing users’ ability to work, create and consume entertainment on the go.

Convenient and portable, the Galaxy Tab S7+ makes tasks like reading documents when you’re on the move easier than ever before. With its new and improved S Pen, users can additionally write out notes quickly and comfortably by hand when on the go. But what about typing on the tablet? Can typing on the Galaxy Tab S7+ ever truly be as comfortable and convenient as typing on a regular keyboard?

The Test

To truly put typing on the Galaxy Tab S7+ to the test, Samsung Newsroom brought in expert stenographer Jongheon Im. Required to be able to type at the same speed as a person speaks, Im transcribes a minute of speech first on two regular keyboards and then on a Galaxy Tab S7+ with the Galaxy Tab S7+ Book Cover Keyboard to see how the tablet stacks up. Check out the video below to see the results!

The fans have spoken: once you’ve experienced the stunning visuals and snappy response of a high refresh rate display, you can never go back to another screen. According to a recent Samsung Members survey, more than half of the respondents cited 120Hz displays as their favorite Galaxy display feature.1

Refresh rate refers to the frequency with which your display refreshes the image on the screen every second, measured in hertz (Hz). With the ability to display more information every second, displays with higher refresh rates offer smoother visuals and less motion blur than lower refresh rate options. As a result, they make for a better visual experience whether you are gaming, streaming video, or simply browsing the web.

Samsung is at the cutting-edge of this emerging trend, featuring 120Hz displays on the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note20 Ultra, and Galaxy Tab S7/S7+. Equipped with a 120Hz Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display, Galaxy S20 FE is the latest to join Samsung’s roster of high refresh rate devices. Here’s a closer look at how these next-gen displays work and what makes them a fan favorite feature.

1 The survey, conducted between July 29 and August 14, 2020, asked over 10,000 Samsung Members from six countries (Korea, US, UK, India, Indonesia, Brazil) about their favorite Galaxy smartphone features.
Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra, the Most Powerful Note Series Yet

The Galaxy Note20 series is a productivity powerhouse that works like a computer and lets you game like a pro. The series comes in two versions: Galaxy Note20 Ultra, designed for Note fans who demand the ultimate in power and productivity, and Galaxy Note20, for broader Note users looking to maximize their time for work and play. Both are built for efficiency, so you have more time to stay connected with the people you love.

Power to Work

Today, we need devices that are as flexible as we are, so we can work, play and connect however we want. Take your productivity to the next level with the Galaxy Note20 series. Samsung’s latest Note series transforms the way you work—empowering you to do more anytime from anywhere.

Now, on the Galaxy Note20 series, new S Pen and Samsung Notes features provide an even more powerful experience and extend to Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ for flexibility and convenience. Plus, a deeper relationship with Samsung’s long-standing partner, Microsoft, makes the Galaxy Note20 series and your Windows PC seamlessly work together.

An Advanced S Pen: A favorite among Note loyalists and multitaskers, the Galaxy Note20 series’ enhanced S Pen offers the ultimate writing experience so you can capture your ideas whenever inspiration strikes. The S Pen on the Galaxy Note20 series has more lifelike precision1 that gives you more accuracy and responsiveness. The S Pen’s five new Anywhere actions makes touchless navigation of your device – like returning to the home screen or taking a screenshot – as simple as a flick of the wrist.

More Flexible and Useful Samsung Notes App Experience: We need tools designed to let us work anytime, on any device. To help you capture, edit and share your ideas across your phone, tablet or Windows 10 PC, Samsung Notes app features auto-save and syncing capabilities, so lost work becomes a thing of the past and you can pick up right where you left off as you move from device to device. Samsung Notes easily straightens your messy handwriting into legible penmanship. Giving feedback is also easier now that you can annotate and highlight PDFs in Samsung Notes app. Record audio as you jot down notes, and just tap a word in your notes to go to that moment in the recording. And keep it all organized with a new, intuitive folder management that makes everything easier to find.

Work Smarter Across Devices: Microsoft’s Your Phone app with Link to Windows2 integration now enables you to easily access your mobile apps directly from your Windows 10 PC without disrupting your flow. It’s simple and convenient to send messages, manage notifications, sync photos and make and receive calls all from your Windows 10 PC. Add your favorite mobile apps to your Taskbar or Start menu so you won’t have to search your phone for your favorite social networking apps or Gallery. Later this year, you will have the ability to run multiple apps side by side on your Windows 10 And all your productivity ecosystems will be aligned across devices when Samsung Notes app syncs to Microsoft OneNote and Outlook3, and your Reminders sync with Microsoft Outlook, To Do and Teams4 so everything you need is at your fingertips, no matter where you are.

Power to Play

Samsung is also bringing its Microsoft partnership to the entertainment side of the Galaxy Note20 series, taking mobile play to the next level. Fully immerse yourself in the most powerful mobile gaming experience Samsung has ever engineered into a smartphone, so you can game like a pro from your couch, backyard, or wherever the day may take you. The Galaxy Note20 series packs pro-grade tools to capture stunning photos and create cinematic-style videos and offers advanced multitasking experiences.

Your favorite Xbox games on the Galaxy Note20 series: Beginning September 15, play over 100 Xbox games on your phone or tablet, directly from the cloud (beta) with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, including hits like Minecraft Dungeons and Gears 55. The Galaxy Note20 series gaming experience is further up-leveled with its AI game booster and Bluetooth audio response optimization, and 240Hz touch latency on the Galaxy Note20 Ultra. Plus, with a large and immersive display with smooth gaming experience thanks to the fastest processor in a Galaxy yet, the Galaxy Note20 series is a pro-gaming set-up that fits in your pocket.

Cinematic-Style Filmmaking in the Palm of Your Hand: With 21:9 aspect ratio and 24fps recording, the Galaxy Note20 series’ 8K camera now gives you access to ultra-high resolution and a professional quality video experience. Use powerful Pro Video mode with pro-grade focus, audio, exposure, zoom speed control, and 120 fps video at FHD for cinematic-style videos. You can also control audio sources on the Galaxy Note20 series, adjusting gain and selecting between onboard mics or external sources, so the sound you want comes through clearly. Paired with Galaxy Buds Live, for example, you can record crystal-clear audio while minimizing noise in the background6.

Master Multitasking with Advanced Samsung DeX: For the first time with Samsung DeX7, wirelessly connect the Galaxy Note20 series to a Smart TV when you need a bigger screen. Manage two screens simultaneously so you can text with your friends on the Galaxy Note20 series while watching a video in a Smart TV.

Galaxy Legacy of Power and Performance

The Galaxy Note has cemented its status as an ultimate power phone. The Galaxy Note20 series continues that legacy as the most powerful Note series yet to give you all the things you know, love, and expect from Galaxy.

The Galaxy Note20 series is built with the fastest processor of all Galaxy devices. It features cutting-edge technology and best-in-class mobile experiences, without sacrificing the iconic design. Both Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra introduce new Mystic colors – soft neutral tones that transcend changing trends with a brand new, textured haze effect that cuts down on fingerprints and smudges.

For the first time in the Note series, Galaxy Note20 Ultra offers a vivid and bright Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and 120Hz refresh rate delivering buttery smooth visuals on our best screen yet, which automatically adjusts to the content you are viewing to optimize battery life. Sporting an all-day intelligent battery8 and Super Fast Charging capabilities, you can get more than 50% charge in just 30 minutes9.

Samsung’s Galaxy 5G leadership delivers next-level power for what you love to do thanks to 5G10. Enjoy the benefits of hyper-fast speeds and the peace of mind that anything you need is just a tap away with the power of Galaxy 5G on both Sub-6 and mmWave networks. The Galaxy Note20 series also provides stable Wi-Fi 611 networks with optimized latency for various streaming services. You can be confident your Galaxy Note20 series hardware and software is proactively secured end-to-end thanks to Samsung Knox, Samsung’s mobile security platform.

For the first time on a Galaxy device with UWB12, Nearby Share will reach a new level of quick and easy sharing on Galaxy Note20 Ultra13. By simply pointing Galaxy Note20 Ultra to other UWB equipped Galaxy devices, Nearby Share will automatically list the people you’re facing on to the top of your sharing panel. Future UWB functionality will also help you find things more accurately with AR technology and unlock your home as a digital key.

Unlock New Experiences with the Connected Galaxy Ecosystem

Samsung devices and services are designed to work together effortlessly, elevating not only your work and play, but everything that’s important to you. Take your Galaxy Note20 series to the next level by pairing it with other new additions to the Samsung Galaxy: Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+, Galaxy Watch3, and Galaxy Buds Live. With these cutting-edge complements to the Note experience, you can work smarter, play longer, live healthier, and communicate better.

Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+, Versatile Tablets for Productivity and Creativity

Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ are two versatile tablets that combine the power of a PC, the flexibility of a tablet, and the connectivity of a smartphone. Building on Samsung’s legacy of Galaxy 5G leadership, Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ will be unlocking seamless videoconferencing, fast downloads, and virtually lag-free streaming.

Experience PC-level productivity on Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ thanks to a powerful processor, an improved keyboard experience (keyboard sold separately as Book Cover Keyboard), and an improved S Pen with similar capabilities as the Galaxy Note20 series—all empowering you to get more done in less time. But a tablet shouldn’t just enhance our work, it should also help us get the most out of our downtime. For elevated entertainment, Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ feature an immersive display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, so you can take full advantage of the cloud-based gaming and high-definition streaming that 5G enables—or do both at the same time with upgraded multi-tasking capabilities. For users who want even more space to work, play, and create, Galaxy Tab S7+ offers an extra-large 12.4” Super AMOLED display.

These tablets also make it easier than ever to work across multiple devices. When there’s no Wi-Fi network in sight, you can use Auto Hotspot to automatically tether other Galaxy devices to your 5G-enabled tablet. And with Nearby Share14, you can effortlessly transmit files to nearby contacts. Use your Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ to extend your Samsung PC15 with Second screen, so you can choose between duplicating and extending your display16. Maximize your productivity even further with tools such as Samsung Notes, S Pen, Book Cover Keyboard and Bluetooth mouse for the complete computing experience.

Galaxy Watch3, a Premium Smartwatch along with Advanced Health Features

The new Samsung Health Monitor app on Galaxy Watch3 offers cuff-less blood pressure18 and electrocardiogram measurements, available in markets where these features have been authorized19. When a potential fall is detected, your location will be sent immediately to pre-designated contacts20.

At Samsung, innovation has always been driven by the mission to equip users with the technology they need to thrive in a changing world. That’s never been more important than it is today, as people around the world seek ways to stay productive, connected, and entertained in this new era.

With the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+, Samsung is offering you a 5G-enabled1 tablet with a large screen that’s loaded with all the tools you need to unleash your creativity, immerse yourself in entertainment and take your productivity to the next level.

Packed with cutting-edge features and seamlessly integrated into the Galaxy ecosystem, the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ are built to support you in every pursuit—from work, to play, and everything in between. Featuring a new-and-improved S Pen, a stunning display and a suite of creativity features, these tablets offer a vast canvas for bringing your ideas to life. Powerful processing, an expanded keyboard and upgraded versions of Samsung DeX allow you to get more work done in less time with a PC-like experience. With ultra-fast 5G connectivity, you can enjoy uninterrupted mobile gaming and high-definition streaming.

A Powerful Device for Work

We all have our own preferences for how we work and study, and our devices should let us accomplish more the way we want. With the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+, you can experience a smarter, smoother way to complete your daily tasks, wherever and whenever you please.

The Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+’s unrivalled productivity features are powered by the latest next-generation processor. The processor’s CPU, GPU and NPU deliver enhanced performance, ensuring that multi-tasking and videoconferencing is seamless when you’re on the clock, and playing a high-quality streaming game when you’re unwinding with friends after work is easier than ever.

Building on almost a decade of design and technical innovation, Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ come with an improved S Pen right in the box. Engineered with a rounded form factor and an elongated tip, the S Pen offers a natural writing and drawing experience. Combined with the display’s refresh rate of up to 120Hz, the S Pen’s biggest leap in responsiveness2 to date reduces lag significantly, allowing you to write with life-like precision and accuracy when you’re taking notes during an important call.

The all-new Samsung Notes is a powerful complement to the upgraded S Pen. Elevate your notetaking with easy PDF import and annotation, as well as the ability to write, type and draw in the same area. Samsung Notes also features Audio Bookmark, which allows you to record lectures or meetings while you write, and then sync the two together. Easily navigate lengthy lecture recordings by tapping on a sentence and automatically jump back to the corresponding audio timestamp.3 With the Samsung Notes syncing feature, you can quickly access and manage your Samsung Notes on your Galaxy Note20 and Samsung PCs. If you’re out running errands, you can easily jot down a note on your Galaxy Note20 when inspiration strikes and then pick up right where you left off when you return home to your Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+.

Today, as we switch back and forth between drafts, calls and spreadsheets at a moment’s notice, multi-tasking is critical. Enhanced Multi-Active Window on Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ now lets you open and run up to three apps simultaneously, so you can take video calls, monitor email and take notes all at once. With App pair, you can even tie up to three apps together for simultaneous launch to save time when you’re in a hurry. The Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ also come with edge screen, similar to the feature on Galaxy smartphones, providing quick access to your most used apps.

If you want to experience a PC-like interface on your tablet, you can use the improved Samsung DeX, with Samsung’s versatile Book Cover Keyboard4. This upgraded keyboard comes with an added line of intuitive function keys5, a larger touchpad and several new angles, so that you can comfortably write, type and sketch when you’re away from a desk. The latest One UI brings a streamlined task bar to Samsung DeX. With the addition of screen zoom support and font sizing options, you can customize Samsung DeX to suit your preferences.
