2020 QLED 8K SMART Signage (QPT-8K)

This year’s QLED 8K SMART signage is the world’s first 8K display capable of 24/7 operation, providing businesses with the ultimate in eye-catching visual clarity all day, every day. These latest displays also support connectivity with up to four separate content sources, all of which can be displayed simultaneously in 4K resolution. The new signage is available in 65-, 75-, 82- and 98-inch versions and will be available globally in the first half of 2020.

Expanded Lineup for The Wall

The Wall is Samsung’s award-winning modular display based on microLED technology. This year, Samsung expanded its lineup by announcing a 292-inch 8K version of The Wall Luxury, ideal for high-end residences, and The Wall for Business for commercial applications. The latest displays come with a range of configurable and customizable sizes and ratios, including 219- and 292-inch 4K versions and astounding 437- and 583-inch 8K versions of The Wall for Business. The largest versions of The Wall ever unveiled, these new versions are ideal for corporate flagship installations.

Curved LED Featuring 3000R Advanced Design Flexibility (IER-F)

Designed especially for retail stores, Samsung’s IER series provides ultimate flexibility. The display supports advanced design and unique display configurations for indoor retail or other business environments with portrait, landscape, curved, convex and even concave orientations up to 3000R with ceiling and wall mounting options.

MagicINFO Analytics for Optimized Campaigns

The Samsung MagicINFO solution solves many of the most common challenges faced by businesses looking to utilize digital signage. A comprehensive platform that offers seamless remote digital signage software and hardware management, Samsung MagicINFO allows content teams to update message designs and schedules from any location at any time. At ISE, Samsung showcased MagicINFO Analytics and its partner ecosystem in a grocery store setting, bringing to life the powerful set of tools that allow advertisers to take action to ensure ads are delivered at the most contextually relevant times.

G9 – A 1000R Monitor Designed for the C-Suite

Samsung’s G9 monitor is built to meet the aesthetic expectations of today’s business leaders, featuring a massive 49-inch display and unparalleled performance and specs, including Quantum Dot technology. Tizen’s Independent Performance Review

Perhaps one of the most significant things to be unveiled at ISE this year was the results of a performance comparison review between Samsung’s Tizen operating system and external media player widely used in the signage industry, conducted by the signageOS Research Center. The review showed that Samsung’s Tizen 4.0 System on Chip (SoC), embedded in all Samsung SMART signage, can efficiently deliver for nearly all of the most common and relevant use-cases in digital signage. This means that Samsung SMART signage is certified to perform all the tasks that are required of it without needing any external media players, saving users money, energy and space.

Samsung Honored with Prestigious Industry Awards

Samsung was recognized with multiple industry awards at ISE 2020. AV News awarded Samsung the AV Display Innovation of the Year Award for its innovative microLED display The Wall Luxury. Samsung was also awarded AV Project of the Year by AV News for the company’s work on the MSC Grandiosa, which harnessed Samsung’s LED IFH-D curved display to transform the cruise ship’s central indoor promenade.

Samsung’s QLED 8K Signage (QPT-8K), Samsung Flip 2 and MagicINFO Analytics Solution received 2020 Top New Technology awards by CE Pro and Commercial Integrator. The Samsung Flip 2 also won the Best of Show Award, awarded by the leading trade publication installation.

Furthermore, Samsung’s ISE 2020 booth, designed by Sammy Lee, was a finalist in the extra-large category of Exhibitor Magazine’s ISE Stand Design Awards.

This year at ISE, Samsung will unveil the latest 2020 QLED 8K SMART signage – the world’s first 8K display capable of 24/7 operation.

The latest QLED 8K signage (model QPT-8K) features exceptional picture quality. Samsung QLED TVs are known for captivating image presentation, HDR10+ technology and 100 percent color volume, plus perfect color accuracy and 2,000 nit peak brightness. The new signage is designed to be wall-mounted and is available in 65-, 75-, 82- and 98-inch versions perfect for a wide range of business needs.

Equipped with the AI Quantum Processor 8K, it has built-in 8K AI upscaling and deep-learning capabilities that can automatically upscale non-8K content to pristine and true-to-life 8K resolution. Some of the display’s latest features provide enhanced functionality for industries, such as healthcare, to take advantage of the true-to-life visual clarity and detail of 8K.
