<p>As the door closes on “Stranger Things,” <strong>Samsung Electronics</strong> and <strong>Netflix </strong>are giving fans a chance to celebrate the final season of the iconic show that has shaped pop culture for nearly a decade. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Iconic Imagery From a Cultural Phenomenon</h2>



<p>Since its debut in 2016, “Stranger Things” has been one of the defining titles behind Netflix’s rise as the world’s leading entertainment service. The series became a global megahit, driving viewership and conversation across regions and generations. Following the release of Season 5, Part 1 on Nov. 27, 2025, it ranked No. 1 in 91 countries and recorded 59.6 million views in its first five days, marking the strongest opening performance for an English-language series on Netflix to date. It also became the first series in Netflix history to place all five seasons in the Global Top 10 at the same time, holding that record for five consecutive weeks. All episodes from the final season are now streaming globally, only on Netflix.</p>



<p>Samsung’s exclusive content inspired by Season 5 builds on that momentum. Available from Jan. 12 through Feb. 22, the collection includes a special <strong>theme </strong>and five <strong>wallpapers </strong>featuring live-action characters and settings from the show, including Hawkins and the Upside Down. Reflecting the unique atmosphere of the show, the visuals allow fans to bring elements of the series into their everyday lives.</p>

Starting August 13, Galaxy users will have the opportunity to bring a specially curated collection of smartphone themes via the Galaxy Store — available at no additional cost for a limited time.</p>
<p>The KPop Demon Hunters theme collection composed of Lock Screen, Home Screen, AOD, Phone Screen, Message Screen and Icons, includes eleven special designs inspired by the film unique visual identity.<sup>1</sup> The set features one special theme package spotlighting the in-universe K-pop groups HUNTRIX, along with ten character-based wallpapers<sup>2</sup> highlighting fan favorites such as Rumi, Zoey, Jinu, Derpy and Sussie.</p>

<p>The themes will be available from 10:00 a.m. on Aug. 13 to 11:59 p.m. on Sep. 12 local time via a dedicated promotion page in the Galaxy Store.<sup>3</sup> Existing Netflix users can unlock the themes simply by launching the Netflix app<sup>4</sup> through the promotion page in the Galaxy Store. Users without the Netflix app are directed to the Netflix app download page in the Galaxy Store. After installation and launch of the app, they can download the KPop Demon Hunters Theme and Wallpaper through the promotion page.<sup>5</sup></p>

Players can also check where they rank against competitors on the leaderboard. Furthermore, the S Pen can also be used to capture in-game photos for sharing after completion.</p>
<p>Photos from both games can be shared instantly via Quick Share<sup>1</sup> or downloaded through email. There will also be a FlexCam Selfie Kiosk, where the Galaxy Z Flip5’s FlexCam enables visitors to take hands-free photos from different angles and download them to be framed.</p>
<p>Following the games, participants can retreat to the VIP room, where they can observe ongoing challenges on The Frame’s expansive 85-inch screen. In season four of <em>Stranger Things</em>, nighttime opens up a portal to an extraordinary world <span>—</span> and the S22 Ultra is used to recreate that distinct style and tell a cinematic story demonstrating how Galaxy technology has the power to capture what would otherwise go unseen in the dark.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #000080"><strong>Making Nighttime Epic</strong></span></h3>
<p>In <em>Make STRANGER Nights Epic</em>, a young girl puts her Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in her back pocket while riding her bike to a <em>Stranger Things </em><em>4</em> watch party at her friend’s house. During her journey, her video inadvertently turns on, capturing footage of what’s lurking behind her in The Upside Down. All of the vertical phone footage scenes were filmed with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.<sup>1</sup></p>

<p>The short film also makes the most of the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s powerful Nightography camera features, which include a 108MP main camera and a massive 2.4<span>μ</span>m pixel sensor powered by advanced artificial intelligence (AI) that allow it to capture more light and data for brighter, crisper video footage, day and night.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #000080"><strong>Creating a Galaxy of Extraordinary Content</strong></span></h3>
<p>Samsung and Netflix have a longstanding partnership and have collaborated on Bespoke campaigns featuring several of the streaming platform’s most popular series. In January, they launched an integrated campaign to help kick off the second season of <em>Emily in Paris</em>, including letting fans “flip the script” and become the lead character in their own animated poster via Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G.</p>
<p>Samsung and Netflix also teamed up to create a <em>Bridgerton</em> short film for the unveiling of the Galaxy S22 series at Unpacked in February. In the three-minute skit, innovators try to gain the attention of <em>Bridgerton’s</em> Queen Charlotte. Inventor Lord Tristar succeeds when he showcases his visionary creation <span>—</span> massive Neoclassical paintings of the Galaxy S22 and S22+, ready in 209 years. <span style="text-decoration: line-through"></span></p>

<p>Samsung Electronics today announced the latest development in its ongoing partnership with streaming giant, Netflix, to herald the release of the second season of its hit-show, <em>Emily in Paris</em>, produced by MTV Entertainment Studios. The Emmy-nominated show, renowned for its 21<sup>st</sup> century celebration of iconic Parisian style, has collaborated with Samsung to showcase world-class premium technology to fans of the series.</p>
<p>In the first season, the beautiful setting and quintessentially Parisian characters gave viewers an insight into French style and culture and are some of the driving forces behind the show’s success. This sense of escapism was created and elevated by the global cast, including the iconic character of Sylvie Grateau. Played by Samsung ambassador Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Sylvie acts as lead protagonist Emily’s boss, and the CMO of luxury marketing agency Savoir. Sylvie’s character embodies true stylish authority; great at her job, powerful, commanding and effortlessly chic, she became one of the most widely recognized and loved characters from the show’s debut season. In season two, to make sure she keeps on top of her personal and professional life, Sylvie has chosen the stylish and snappy Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G to keep Emily and the rest of the agency on their toes.</p>

To launch the second season, Samsung and Netflix will bring iconic style and innovative technology to fans of <em>Emily in Paris</em> through an integrated campaign; featuring offline ads, social and influencer content, and a TikTok filter that provides a new way for fans to enjoy the show, through the lens of the iconic Galaxy Z Flip 5G. The filter will allow fans to “flip the script” and become the lead character in their own Emily in Paris animated poster. The stunning Galaxy Z Flip 5G will unfold in front of the user, putting them front and center before the iconic Eiffel Tower. TikTok users* can try out the Flip the Script TikTok Effect on the platform as of 28<sup>th</sup> of December.</p>
