Samsung has reduced this figure by approximately 42 percent since 2008 for its entire product portfolio. This also means that energy costs to consumers is also decreasing.

The company has put a great deal of effort into utilizing environmentally friendly materials, reducing electronic waste and working to raise community awareness about environmental and social issues.
