Experiencing Innovation at Galaxy Unpacked 2025

The excitement kicked off in Brooklyn at Galaxy Unpacked 2025. As the new foldables and wearables were unveiled, #TeamGalaxy influencers captured the energy of the launch and shared first impressions in real time on YouTube, Instagram and other platforms — drawing the attention of Galaxy fans around the world.

Inspiring Creativity Through Collaboration

Following the event, participants visited Meta’s New York office for the official program launch. In collaboration with Meta, the #TeamGalaxy Connect 2025 briefing featured sessions including Meta: IG Unfiltered, led by Meta; a Galaxy Watch8 spotlight, led by Sung Chang, Executive Vice President of Brand Marketing, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics; and a Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 spotlight, led by Matthew Leem, Vice President of Brand Marketing, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics. These sessions provided deeper insight into Galaxy’s brand philosophy and technology, along with creative tips to elevate influencer content.

The #TeamGalaxy influencers then split into three themed groups — health, camera and gaming — to reinterpret the new devices’ advanced hardware and Galaxy AI features in their own unique ways.

Running With Galaxy RunnerzZz

On July 10, the “Galaxy RunnerzZz in NYC” event started as part of a global challenge promoting the values of rest, rise and run — all tracked through the Galaxy Watch. More than 70 #TeamGalaxy influencers ran alongside local runners, half-marathon world record holder Jacob Kiplimo and freestyle skier Alex Hall.

Participants tracked their Energy Score with the Galaxy Watch8 and captured the experience using the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 before completing a 3.5- or 7.09-kilometer course.

“Running as a team with people from all over the world was incredible,” said one influencer. “Thanks to the Galaxy Watch8’s pace guidance feature, I was able to finish without overexerting myself.”

Collaborating Creatively With the Galaxy Z Fold7

Meanwhile, #TeamGalaxy camera influencers teamed up with rising directors from a local film school for “The Ultra City Tales, Unfolds” project. The short film, shot entirely on the Galaxy Z Fold7, highlighted the device’s ultra-level camera capabilities and its suitability for high-quality filmmaking.

At the same time, #TeamGalaxy gaming influencers visited a New York gaming café to challenge local gamers — showcasing the Galaxy Z Fold7’s immersive large-screen experience and powerful performance, even while folded.

Remembering #TeamGalaxy Connect 2025

At the farewell dinner marking the end of the three-day experience, #TeamGalaxy influencers celebrated their content achievements and received awards for outstanding work.

The event offered a meaningful opportunity to explore the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Watch8 while creating original content that brought the Galaxy brand to life. Samsung Members is a pre-loaded app and all related activities that provide access to a variety of Galaxy-related news, benefits and community activities. Within the app’s community, highly active users who consistently share high-quality content and engage with others are selected as Samsung Members Stars (hereinafter “Members”).

At the July 2025 Samsung Members Connect, Members were among the first to get hands-on with the newly unveiled Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7 and the next evolution of Galaxy AI.

Through a series of curated programs, they captured and shared their real-time experiences — offering authentic insights with their local communities. Teaming up with influencers from #TeamGalaxy, Members co-created content that showcased the energy and excitement of the moment.

Orientation Kicks Off Connections Between Members

The event commenced with a Members Orientation, where participants introduced their past activities within the Samsung Members community. Members overcame language and cultural differences, laying the groundwork for future collaboration.

A Broader Experience Unfolds at Galaxy Unpacked 2025

One of the most anticipated highlights of the event was Galaxy Unpacked 2025, held in Brooklyn. Members attended in person, being among the very first to experience the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7 and the latest AI innovations.

The event showcased Samsung’s vision for multimodal Galaxy AI — technology that understands user intent, responds seamlessly and delivers truly personalized experiences. It marked another step forward in Galaxy AI’s evolution into a trusted companion in everyday life.

Members and #TeamGalaxy Shape Stories Together

The workshop brought Members and #TeamGalaxy together for a meaningful exchange of Galaxy knowledge and content creation insights. Drawing on their individual strengths, they collaborated on the next day’s group mission — discussing Galaxy’s new features, planning storylines and selecting key New York landmarks that would best capture their creative messages.

An ‘Epic Tour’ With the New Galaxy Devices in New York

Set against the urban backdrop of New York City, the ‘Epic Tour’ offered Members a chance to creatively experience the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7.

From creatively reinterpreting Broadway posters using AI to capturing unique moments at city landmarks with FlexCam, Members brought their ideas to life. Each team worked on concept planning, real-time filming and editing — culminating in compelling content co-produced with #TeamGalaxy.

At the Gala Night, Members enjoyed a meaningful evening set to live jazz and framed by the New York skyline. Members viewed creative group photos co-created with #TeamGalaxy during the Epic Tour mission. A live vote selected the best shot, adding a fun highlight to the evening.

Over four inspiring days, Samsung Members Connect 2025 gave Members a unique opportunity to dive deep into the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7 and the next chapter of Galaxy AI. More than just a product showcase, it was a global platform for connection — strengthening the bond between Members and the brand.

For this exclusive event, Samsung designed various programs to ensure that participating Members could share their firsthand experiences of the new Galaxy products with the wider community. Galaxy AI Evolves With Greater Innovation

At Galaxy Unpacked 2025, Members had the exclusive opportunity to get a sneak peek at the newly unveiled Galaxy S25 series — powered by an enhanced Galaxy AI.

“It is truly an honor to participate in a global event hosted by Samsung. I was particularly impressed by how effortlessly I could summarize YouTube videos with just a single tap,” said Hyun-seo Chae, a Members from South Korea. “The ongoing evolution of Galaxy AI always exceeds expectations, and its groundbreaking advancements demonstrate limitless opportunities and possibilities.”

Following Galaxy Unpacked 2025, Sung Chang, Executive Vice President of Marketing Team, and Minseok Kang, Head of Smartphone Product Planning Team, from Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics held a Q&A session to discuss key features of the Galaxy S25 series.

Members Workshop: Samsung Members Stars and #TeamGalaxy Unite Through Galaxy

For the first time, Samsung Members Connect featured a unique collaboration between Members and #TeamGalaxy. These workshops provided Members with an opportunity to develop key influencer skills, helping them more effectively share their experiences using Galaxy devices with the global community.

During the workshop, Members and #TeamGalaxy fostered mutual growth by exchanging their strengths — deep Galaxy knowledge and content creation expertise, respectively. They actively discussed content themes and explored new features of the Galaxy S25 series to incorporate into their projects for the following day. Through these collaborative missions, Members in different countries had the opportunity to indirectly experience the Galaxy S25 series for two days.

“Engaging with #TeamGalaxy has allowed me to take my content to the next level and expand the reach of Galaxy-related content,” said Sebastián Sebas, a Members from Colombia.

An Epic Tour of San Francisco With Next-Level Galaxy AI

On the final day of the event, Members embarked on a tour of San Francisco with the Galaxy S25 series. Participants visited iconic landmarks in San Francisco and completed individual and group missions that showcased the advanced features of Galaxy AI. Using the upgraded AI capabilities of the Galaxy S25 series, Members captured dynamic moments, experimented with various camera modes, and creatively applied Galaxy AI to produce high-quality content for the larger community.

After an exciting day of exploration, the event concluded with a gala dinner and a Mission Awards ceremony — marking the successful completion of the four-day journey.

Samsung organized this event — high above the City of Light and steps away from the Olympic rendezvous @ Samsung | Champs-Élysées 125 — to empower athletes, influencers and guests to create lifelong memories with Galaxy. This occasion was the culmination of the #TeamGalaxy Connect program which brought together #TeamGalaxy members from around the world to interact with each other and develop content at Olympic Games Paris 2024 with Galaxy. With surprise musical performances by #TeamGalaxy’s Harry Hudson and Jaden Smith, the celebration gave attendees a special chance to experience, share and capture the magic of the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

Samsung Newsroom compiled the best moments from the Open to All Party below — reflecting on the road traveled to Paris 2024 and looking to what lies ahead.

Among the attendees were Team Samsung Galaxy athletes Alejandra Orozco Loza (Diving, Mexico) and Sarah Bee (Breaking, France); #TeamGalaxy influencers including Greysia Polii, a former badminton player and gold medalist; CrosOne from Pro Breaking Tour (PBT), who partnered with Samsung on the Breaking episode of the “Breaking Boundaries” docu-series.

Alejandra Orozco Loza, who just competed in her last Olympic Game and recently announced her retirement from professional diving, found the event to be particularly meaningful. “I’m so happy I got a chance to represent Mexico and Latin America as part of Team Samsung Galaxy,” she said. “I’m so grateful to everyone who supported me throughout my career.”

For #TeamGalaxy influencers, the celebration was an important stepping stone in fostering solidarity.

“Nothing builds a sense of community more than these events, because we can all get to know each other while coming from different backgrounds,” said health and fitness influencer Mayane Sarwat (@maya_sarwat, Egypt).

“We need these types of events to connect with each other, so we can build international relationships, exchange ideas and learn from one another,” said photography influencer Max Muench (@muenchmax, Germany). “The creativity in all of us … it gives us a sense of unity, of creating together as a team.”

For CrosOne, this event was a chance to celebrate Breaking’s Olympic Games debut. “I’ve never been to the Olympic Games,” he said. “This Olympics — this is such a cool experience. Breaking will be crazy. I just know it will be super emotional seeing the b-boys and b-girls on stage. We’ve worked so hard to get the sport to this platform. I can’t wait to soak it all in and cry my eyes out.”

Team Samsung Galaxy for Paris 2024

For Paris 2024, Team Samsung Galaxy is made up of over 25 Olympians and Paralympians — including British skateboarder Sky Brown, Spanish badminton champion Carolina Marin, French skateboarding hero Aurélien Giraud, American B-girl¹ Grace “Sunny” Choi, German Para sprinter Johannes Floors and South Korean football icon Son Heung-min — with more to be named. It features several athletes from some of the Games’ newest sports — skateboarding, surfing and breaking — which, like Samsung, share core values of open-mindedness and self-expression.

“We are proud to support this incredible team of athletes and welcome them to the Samsung family,” added Stephanie Choi. “Not only are they inspiring humans on and off the field of play, but they’re also making an impact on their communities and on the next generation. The team also includes 15-year-old skateboarder Rayssa Leal, who became the youngest Brazilian ever to participate in the Olympic Games when she won silver at Tokyo 2020; Kim Ye-ri, the “limitless” South Korean B-girl who overcame a hearing impairment to rise to the top of her sport; Jagger Eaton (U.S.), who champions skateboarding’s culture of open-mindedness; surfers Johanne Defay (France), John John Florence (U.S.) and Jack Robinson (Australia), who are not only fierce competitors on the waves, but also fierce ocean and climate advocates; and Paralympians Madison de Rozario (Australia) and Ugo Didier (France) who use their platforms to drive accessibility and inclusivity in sport and society.

On May 16, Samsung hosted an exciting event bringing together Samsung Members Stars and #TeamGalaxy in South Korea. Influencers from #TeamGalaxy and Samsung ambassadors, known as Samsung Members Stars, were invited from 15 countries¹ worldwide. The tour spanned four days for #TeamGalaxy members and three days for Samsung Members Stars. With the theme of “Connect,” the trip aimed to strengthen the bonds between the participants, the Samsung brand and Galaxy while creating an engaging and interactive space for everyone involved. Samsung Newsroom closely followed this exceptional event, which took place in Korea — the birthplace of Samsung and the global K-wave phenomenon.

Connect on a Deeper Level With Samsung and Galaxy

During the event, participants had the chance to experience the essence of Samsung at various locations across South Korea. They explored the Samsung Innovation Museum (S/I/M) in Suwon, gaining an understanding of Samsung’s management philosophy and rich corporate history. They also participated in programs at Samsung Digital City in Suwon, fostering deeper connections with Samsung at the brand’s headquarters. Notably, they had the opportunity to interact with developers and executives from different business units. Executive Vice President Joshua Sungdae Cho (Visual Solution Team) and Vice President Sally Hyesoon Jeong (Framework R&D Team) of the MX Business at Samsung Electronics shared insights on the camera and gaming performance of the Galaxy S23 series, respectively, and eagerly listened to participants’ feedback on the products. Connect With Creativity by Capturing With Galaxy

“Epic Film Festival,” the program organized to showcase the exceptional camera performance of the Galaxy S23 series, brought together global influencers in photography and videography. Participants exhibited videos captured using the Galaxy S23, with their unique themes and stories, during a film premiere on the final day. The program empowered participants to inspire and exchange ideas with others via their creative works. Throughout the three-day program, Samsung Members Stars engaged in daily photo quests and collaborated in teams to create short films. Both #TeamGalaxy and Samsung Members Stars participants actively engaged in social sharing activities, utilizing the excellent camera features of the Galaxy S23 Ultra (such as Nightography, 200MP, 10x Zoom, Portrait Mode, etc.) to capture every corner of Seoul. During the gala dinner on the final day, they had the chance to appreciate and discuss the final works. The event provided an opportunity to exchange creative inspiration, opinions and tips.

Connect to the Gaming World With Next-Level Galaxy Performance

The gaming program was also jam-packed with exciting activities. Samsung Members Stars experienced the exceptional gaming performance of the Galaxy S23 series through a tutorial session led by professional gaming commentator GClef and an exhilarating Fortnite Mobile game showdown. Meanwhile, #TeamGalaxy gaming influencers engaged in a thrilling competition against Korean gamers. The gaming program reached its peak with the highly anticipated #TeamGalaxy vs. Team Korea Fortnite mobile tournament held on May 19. Team Korea, consisting of Samsung Electronics employees, and #TeamGalaxy gaming influencers formed three squads each and battled it out for the tournament title. These captivating on-site matches were broadcasted live on Samsung Mobile’s Twitch channel and shared with fans worldwide.

Moviemaking on the Galaxy S21

[Thailand, 4/12] In mid-April, three famous filmmakers delivered tips for how to create your own content using the Galaxy S21. The filmmakers delivered advice on how to best use lighting and the Galaxy S21’s Super Steady feature to create outstanding videos, as well as how to take stunning portrait videos using Super Slow mode. [Taiwan, 4/7] In early April, cutting-edge filmmakers Hsu Chih-Yen, Yin Chen-Hao, Birdy Nio, Kay Jan, and Alex III detailed how they used Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G and Galaxy Z series devices to shoot “daily blockbuster movies”. This piece also introduced the ‘#Wonderful Build – Galaxy Shooter Trial’ Instagram campaign, which involved using Galaxy smartphones to capture videos longer than 15 seconds in length. [Russia, 4/23] In late April, as red carpet season began, the Russian newsroom covered how star stylist Jason Boden utilized the Galaxy S21 to complement his work. [UK, 2/15] To celebrate the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G Series, Samsung UK teamed up with British influencer The Bake King on Pancake Day, revealing tips on how to make the most ‘flip-able’ pancakes.
