Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced a global partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios to mark the theatrical release of this summer’s epic new superhero adventure “Supergirl” on June 24. Through the partnership, Samsung is bringing fans closer to the film through Samsung Art Store, a Samsung Micro RGB TV sweepstakes in collaboration with electronics retailer Best Buy and select U.S. and U.K. experiences in support of its global release.

Samsung’s WindFree Technology addresses this challenge by dispersing cool air gently through 10,000 micro air holes, creating a “Still Air” environment with extremely low air speed. This enables users to maintain thermal comfort without the unpleasant sensation of direct cold drafts.

The solution is particularly beneficial for prolonged nighttime usage and family living environments where comfort consistency is critical.

Healthier Indoor Air Through PM1.0 Purification

With AQI levels in Delhi NCR frequently crossing safe limits, indoor air quality has become an increasing concern for homeowners.

Samsung’s WindFree 1Way Cassette ACs can be equipped with an optional PM1.0 purification panel featuring a two-stage filtration system comprising a pre-filter and PM1.0 filter.

While the pre-filter captures larger dust particles and fibers, the PM1.0 filter captures ultrafine dust particles as small as 0.3 microns and sterilizes up to 99%^# of bacteria trapped in the filter using electrostatic precipitator technology verified by Intertek.

Samsung’s Active AI Pressure Control continuously analyses ambient conditions, piping distance and cooling usage patterns to dynamically optimize refrigerant pressure and operational performance. The system can fine-tune internal pressure by up to 32%, helping reduce energy consumption by up to 15%^.

By learning user cooling behavior and surrounding conditions, the AI-enabled VRF system can also proactively optimize cooling performance, including delivering faster cooling when repeated usage patterns are detected.

Additionally, Samsung’s Active AI Refrigerant Analysis uses deep learning technology to proactively monitor refrigerant levels in real time and alert installers or service engineers in case of abnormal operating conditions, helping maintain optimal efficiency and system reliability.

Innovation at Scale: Central Park Flower Valley’s The Orchard, Gurugram

Samsung’s integrated climate technologies are currently deployed at Central Park Flower Valley’s The Orchard, Gurugram — one of the largest premium residential projects in India utilizing integrated WindFree, PM1.0 purification, SmartThings connectivity and AI-enabled VRF infrastructure at scale.

The project features deployment across 284 luxury residences, supported by a total installed capacity of 4,864 HP.

The installation includes Samsung WindFree 1Way Cassette AC indoor units integrated with PM1.0 purification panels and Wi-Fi-enabled SmartThings connectivity, powered by Samsung’s DVM S2 AI-enabled VRF outdoor systems.

The deployment represents a blueprint for future-ready residential infrastructure where intelligent climate management, connected living, wellness-focused technologies and energy efficiency converge to create smarter and healthier homes for modern India.

Samsung’s Connected Care Ecosystem Zone serves as the main area of the exhibition and demonstrates how Galaxy smartphones, Galaxy Watches and the Samsung Health app seamlessly connect to enable proactive wellness management. The zone also offers a glimpse into the future of daily health management, powered by Samsung Health’s latest features — including tracking via Heart Health Score and Vitals, alongside enhanced workout metrics such as Daily Cardio Load, introduced in the new 7.0 update.[1]

In this zone, Samsung is presenting its future digital healthcare blueprint, which aims to bridge wellness and clinical care by integrating Samsung’s technology with Xealth, the U.S. digital health platform the company acquired last year.

Xealth provides a platform that enables medical professionals to comprehensively assess patient conditions, prescribe and recommend digital healthcare solutions and monitor health in real time. By connecting Galaxy smartphones and wearables with the Xealth platform, Samsung plans to develop a solution that empowers both clinical teams and patients to actively manage health together, even outside of a hospital setting.

The company is also showcasing its Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub, which enables smart diet management. AI Food Manager[2] tracks expiration dates and sends timely alerts before ingredients reach the use-by date set by the user. Additionally, the FoodNote[3] widget analyzes ingredient data stored and used over the past week, providing personalized insights into the user’s most frequently consumed food items.

Samsung is also introducing a pet care solution that helps users monitor potential health issues at home. Through a collaboration with the pet health management solution Lifet, users can take a photo with their mobile device, which AI then analyzes for signs associated with issues such as certain dental problems, patellar luxation and cataracts.[4]

Seamlessly connected through Samsung’s smart home platform, SmartThings, the solutions presented in the Connected Care Ecosystem Zone safeguard personal data with Knox, Samsung’s proprietary security solution.

The booth’s Open Care Lab features a range of partner solutions, including the AI Beauty Screen developed in collaboration with Amorepacific, a leading Korea-based beauty company; Visual Meditation, a service exclusive to Samsung TVs developed in collaboration with CUZ; and an AI-based skin and scalp analysis solution by Becon, which was founded through Samsung’s in-house venture project, C-Lab.

Visitors can book an appointment for a personalized K-beauty experience using the AI Beauty Screen to assess their skin condition and receive a tailored lip makeup application. Attendees can also experience the Visual Meditation service on a Samsung TV.

Samsung India felicitated 30 outstanding students from across the country under the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) programme, awarding each topper ₹1 lakh for exceptional performance in each of the four courses­ — Artificial Intelligence (AI), Coding & Programming, Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data.

The awardees included four national toppers, along with 26 state-level toppers and one social media champion, selected from 20,000 students trained through Samsung Innovation Campus, the company’s flagship CSR programme. The students selected from the 2025 cohort represent 10 states, reflecting the growing spread of technology talent beyond India’s traditional innovation hubs

The toppers were felicitated at Samsung India’s headquarters in Gurugram in the presence of JB Park, President and CEO, Samsung Southwest Asia. “When I look at all of you, I do not just see students. I see future engineers, creators, entrepreneurs, researchers and perhaps future CEOs. AI, coding and data are no longer skills of tomorrow; they are skills of today. Shivam Singh from Uttar Pradesh explored IoT, cybersecurity and automation technologies through the programme, building projects ranging from home automation systems to cybersecurity models, experiences that helped him secure an internship with National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India.

Similarly, Dev Uppal from Delhi and Vanshika Raghav from Haryana credited Samsung Innovation Campus with helping them apply classroom learning to real-world challenges while strengthening their confidence, analytical thinking and technical capabilities.

Besides the award ceremony at the Samsung Head Office, the students also had the opportunity to explore Samsung’s innovation ecosystem through visits to Samsung R&D Institute Noida, Samsung R&D Institute Delhi and Samsung Design Delhi. They interacted with technology leaders to understand how the skills gained through Samsung Innovation Campus can be applied to solve real-world challenges. Samsung, India’s largest consumer electronics brand, marks 30 years of its customer service journey in India, tracing its evolution from a small service operation in Delhi in the mid-1990s to one of the country’s largest and most digitally-connected customer care ecosystems.

When Service Was Still Analog

The story of Samsung’s customer service evolution closely mirrors India’s own technological transformation — from an era of handwritten complaint registers, pagers and physical service visits to AI-powered diagnostics, connected appliances and predictive care ecosystems.

When Samsung opened its first service centre in India in March 1996, the country looked very different. Phones and internet were rare and customer requests were manually recorded in registers resting on crowded office desks.

“Back then, customer care was deeply personal in the most literal sense. Customers often walked directly into service centres because telephones were not common in homes. Service requests were manually entered into registers, and engineers travelled across cities carrying logbooks, paper slips and toolkits,” said Rajiv Gupta, Director, Service Operations, Samsung India.

By December 1996, Samsung had already expanded to 21 service centres across India. In 1997, engineers began using pagers to receive customer alerts — a small but important technological leap at the time.

Building the Infrastructure of Trust

As India’s consumer technology market rapidly expanded, Samsung continued scaling its customer support ecosystem. The late 1990s saw the growth of franchise service centres across the country, while 2003 marked another major milestone with the launch of Samsung’s first in-house call centre at Nehru Place in Delhi and the introduction of a toll-free customer support number.

Over the next two decades, Samsung steadily transformed customer service from a reactive support function into an integrated, technology-driven customer experience ecosystem.

Today, Samsung operates one of India’s largest customer service infrastructures with over 3,000 service touchpoints, 12,500+ trained engineers and 16 strategically located parts warehouses across the country.

Refrigerators can alert users if cooling efficiency drops unexpectedly, while air conditioners can proactively communicate maintenance requirements.

Customers today can access 24×7 support through toll-free helplines, WhatsApp assistance, remote diagnostics and online appointment booking platforms. Samsung’s voice support services are available in 10 Indian languages, helping make customer support more accessible across regions.

The company has also strengthened digital-first support offerings such as Pick and Drop service for smartphones and the Digital Service Center platform, which provides self-help videos, troubleshooting support and transparent pricing information.

AI-driven customer support technologies — including intelligent co-pilots, speech-to-text systems and sentiment analysis tools — are additionally helping service teams respond faster and more empathetically to customer concerns.

Relationships that Last Forever

“Samsung has been a part of my life for three decades now. Our first television was a Samsung, and later the first smartphone I bought for my son was a Galaxy device. What has remained constant over the years is the trust and reliability associated with the brand,” said Sanjeev Gupta, a long-time Samsung customer from Ludhiana, Punjab.

Over the years, Samsung has also nurtured an ecosystem of service professionals through four training academies and its long-term skilling initiative, Dost Service. Through its partnerships with 22 ITIs, Samsung Dost Service has trained over 14,500 service engineers across India.
