<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The festival of lights – Diwali is finally here, and there is mirth and merriment in the air. Adding to the joyous vibe, this week we bring you something that will enrich your festivities with its delightful taste. We are sharing an easy-peasy recipe for the most beloved Indian <em>mithai – Kaju Katli</em> (Cashew Burfi) – which can be prepared conveniently with the help of your <a href="https://www.samsung.com/in/microwave-ovens/all-microwave-ovens/">Samsung microwave</a>.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Check out the recipe below:</h3>
<h3></h3>
<h3><strong>Cooking Time: 25 mins | Serving: 30 pieces</strong></h3>
<h3><strong>Ingredients</strong></h3>
<p>Water                                               ½ cup</p>
<p>Sugar                                               2½ cup</p>
<p>Milk                                                 1 tablespoon</p>
<p>Cashew nuts (ground fine)               1 kg</p>
<p>Ghee                                                3 teaspoon</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3><strong>Cooking Method</strong></h3>
<ol>
<li>Put water and sugar into a bowl. Turn the microwave on HIGH and place the bowl inside for 8-9 minutes. Stir twice.</li>
<li>The mixture should come to a boil, and you should get a thick syrup. Just before it begins to caramelize, pour in the milk. Keep stirring.</li>
<li>Mix in finely ground cashew and ghee. Put this back and turn the microwave on HIGH for 12 minutes or until the mixture thickens and ghee separates.</li>
<li>Keep stirring the mixture.</li>
<li>Lightly grease ½ inch trays and press the mixture onto them.</li>
<li>When cool, cut into diamonds or squares.</li>
<li>Remove from the tray.</li>
<li>Store in an airtight box.</li>
</ol>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><em>Diwali</em>, the festival of lights, symbolising the victory of good over evil, was celebrated with enthusiasm across Samsung India&#8217;s offices. The company&#8217;s headquarters in Gurgaon was a sight to behold, with the entire office decorated with <em>diyas</em> (clay lamps), lanterns and balloons. Employees turned up in ethnic wear, creating an atmosphere of colour and fun.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-1521" src="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Two-resized-e1477893504817-1024x599.jpg" alt="Two resized" width="1024" height="599" srcset="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Two-resized-e1477893504817-1024x599.jpg 1024w, https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Two-resized-e1477893504817-300x176.jpg 300w, https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Two-resized-e1477893504817-768x450.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>To mark the festivity, a talent show was organised at the Gurgaon office. This show witnessed some great singing and dance performances.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-1522" src="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Rangoli-resized-e1477893905428-1024x650.jpg" alt="Rangoli resized" width="1024" height="650" srcset="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Rangoli-resized-e1477893905428-1024x650.jpg 1024w, https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Rangoli-resized-e1477893905428-300x191.jpg 300w, https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Rangoli-resized-e1477893905428-768x488.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>In true <em>Diwali</em> tradition<em>, Rangoli</em> competitions were organised for employees across the country. <em>Rangoli,</em> an art form in which patterns are created on the floor using colourful materials or flower petals, is believed to bring good luck.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-1523" src="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Three-resized-e1477894161660-1024x604.jpg" alt="Three resized" width="1024" height="604" srcset="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Three-resized-e1477894161660-1024x604.jpg 1024w, https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Three-resized-e1477894161660-300x177.jpg 300w, https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Three-resized-e1477894161660-768x453.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></p>
