For ImillaSkate, skateboarding is more than a sport, it’s a life philosophy. As nine women in their 20s, ImillaSkate decided to use their passion for skating to instill a renewed sense of pride in cholitas, Bolivian indigenous women who were not always embraced by society. Donning polleras, the traditional skirts of their cholita culture, they took to the streets on their boards and have used smartphones to capture their cause every step of the way. Today, Galaxy technology is helping them continue to expand and engage with even more people around the world on social media, opening up new possibilities for them.
