Carrying forward the mission of Cashless and Digital India, Samsung has customized the Scan QR Code features to make it suitable for its users in India. This Scan QR feature is currently live on Samsung Pay compatible devices. Users must have the latest software to experience the Scan QR option.

Samsung’s R&D team built the Scan QR feature specifically for India as the country is witnessing a monumental growth in Scan and Pay. The Scan QR feature, with camera integration, solves the unique needs of Indian consumers and is consistent with Samsung’s ongoing efforts to increase the adoption of digital technology.

With camera and Scan QR integration, payments can be initiated with minimal clicks. The Scan QR feature also reduces the time invested in searching for Scan QR within the app before users can scan QR & make payments.

The QR Scan integration is being expanded to other Galaxy devices with FOTA and software updates. The Scan QR feature is live in select models and will be available for more devices with software updates. The Scan QR feature is currently live across Galaxy Z series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note20 series, Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy M series, Galaxy A series and Galaxy F series.

How it works?

To make payment using camera/QR Scanner in Quick Panel

1. Ensure your phone has the latest software update installed
2. Open the camera and scan the UPI QR
3. Select the option to pay with Samsung Pay or Samsung Pay Mini
4. Complete the payment by entering the amount & UPI PIN

Memory Variants and Availability

Galaxy F41 will come in two memory variants – 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB and will be available on Flipkart, Samsung.com and select retail stores from October 16, 2020.

Pricing and offers

The 6GB+64GB memory variant is priced at INR 16999 and the 6GB+128GB memory variant will be available for INR 17999.

In addition during Flipkart Big Billion Days, there is an introductory offer of INR 1500 off taking the effective price of 6GB+64GB at INR 15499 and 6+128GB at INR 16499.

There is also an additional 10% instant discount for SBI credit and debit card customers on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sale.

Consumers will also have the option of the Flipkart Smart Upgrade plan where they will be able to own the Galaxy F41 by paying only 70% of the device value. The plan will be available for payments made through credit card and credit card EMI. After a 12 month period, customers can upgrade to a new phone on Flipkart and will have to return the initial phone purchased. Alternatively, in case the customer wishes to retain the phone, they will have the option to make a payment for the 30% instant advance amount received at the time of purchase.
