Samsung, India’s largest consumer electronics brand, today announced the launch of its latest Made-in-India Smart WindFree Cassette Air Conditioners. The new lineup combines intelligent connectivity, eco-conscious design, and premium comfort, improving the future of commercial and residential cooling solutions.

Engineered to deliver smarter control, efficient performance, and enhanced well-being, the new range is equipped with built-in Wi-Fi for seamless SmartThings integration and Samsung’s unique WindFree Cooling technology, delivering consistent comfort without harsh cold drafts and bringing a new level of convenience and comfort to users across India. The use of eco-friendly R32 refrigerant further validates Samsung’s commitment to sustainability.

Smart Control with Connected Cooling Anytime, Anywhere

Users can connect their cassette ACs effortlessly via the built-in Wi-Fi with the Samsung SmartThings app, eliminating the need for additional modules. They can monitor, manage, and personalize their indoor climate directly from their smartphone, whether at home, in the office, or on the move.

Key SmartThings features include:

• Voice Control: Control temperature and settings using voice assistants such as Samsung Bixby, Amazon Alexa, or Google Assistant
• Welcome Cooling Mode: Uses GPS tracking to automatically cool your space to preferred settings before arrival
• Good Sleep Mode: Adapts to your sleep cycle while saving up to 48% energy^[1]
• Comfort Humidity Control: Maintains steady indoor conditions using temperature and humidity sensors, while saving up to 19% energy^[2] in dry mode

Eco-Friendly & Healthier Cooling

The range uses R32 refrigerant, which has a significantly lower global warming potential (GWP) than conventional refrigerants. For cleaner indoor environments, an optional PM 1.0 filtration system is available to capture ultra-fine dust particles and improve air purity.

Cool Without the Chill – WindFree Comfort

Unlike conventional air conditioners that blow strong jets of cold air, Samsung’s WindFree Cooling uses thousands of micro-holes to gently disperse cool air. This creates a “Still Air” environment, with minimal fan speed and thereby eliminating cold drafts while maintaining consistent, quiet, and energy-efficient cooling. This range of ACs are ideal for offices, hospitality, and wellness spaces.

Samsung’s new Smart Cassette AC comes with a starting price of INR 65,000 (excluding GST) and will be available through Samsung’s authorized commercial AC channel partners across India starting October 2025.

Samsung Electronics announced today that Google Assistant will join the suite of voice assistants currently available on 2020 Samsung Smart TVs, providing viewers with enhanced control and discovery abilities. Available alongside Amazon Alexa and Bixby, Google Assistant is now fully integrated into Samsung Smart TVs and requires no additional downloads, hardware, or installation, and is interchangeable, based on the household’s preference. The suite of leading voice assistants is now available on all 2020 4K and 8K QLED TVs, Crystal UHD TVs, The Frame, The Serif, The Sero and The Terrace, and is compatible with viewers’ existing voice assistant ecosystems.

Make Control and Discovery Effortless

Thanks to a wider range of voice assistant options, Samsung Smart TV users now have faster access to their favorite entertainment, real-time answers on screen, and the ability to seamlessly control their smart home devices with a voice assistant of their choosing. By activating voice commands, users can easily browse channels, adjust the volume, control playback, open apps and much more.

Entertainment lovers can now use their preferred voice assistant to discover new content instantly with an effortless search by genre, director or actor. In addition to finding new TV programs and films to watch, viewers can ask Alexa, Bixby or Google Assistant to provide the weather forecast, find out the latest game scores or play their favorite tunes. With Google Assistant, viewers will also have access to the Google services they know and love to help streamline their days, including Google Search, Photos, Maps, Calendar and more.
