Samsung, India’s largest consumer electronics brand, today announced the fourth season of #PlayGalaxy Cup – with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7. Top gamers from across the country participated in the nailbiting contest, with Delhi AI Legends (featuring Techno Gamerz) being crowned as the coveted champion.

The #PlayGalaxy Cup 4.0 was livestreamed on Samsung India’s YouTube channel and select Samsung exclusive stores across the country – and reached over 350 million+ users. The #PlayGalaxy Cup has grown into one of India’s most anticipated esports events, with the fourth edition witnessing participation from 48 top gamers and creators. The event witnessed head-to-head participation between the gamers for around four and a half hours.

The winning team – Delhi AI Legends – featured top gamers and creators from the country such as Techno Gamerz, iPreet, Mayur Gaming and Tahir Feugo FF. Finishing as the first runners up were Guwahati Galaxy Guardians (Soneeta, Desi Chora, Wariya Gaming and GW Manish) while Ahmedabad AI Avengers (Regaltos, Trevo Gaming, OP Chiku & Ashi is Live) were the second runners up for the tournament conducted in New Delhi.

The fourth season of #PlayGalaxy Cup 4.0 witnessed intense game play, thanks to the thinner, lighter and more powerful Galaxy Fold7, powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. One of the biggest gaming events hosted in India, the #PlayGalaxy Cup reached over 300 Million users this year.

The #PlayGalaxy Cup was livestreamed on January 23, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Samsung India’s YouTube channel and select Samsung exclusive stores across the country.

The event witnessed a head-to-head participation of 12 teams, comprising 48 gamers, battling it out in Call of Duty Mobile for the coveted #PlayGalaxy Season 3.0 Cup. After an intense showdown across 4 matches, the team with the maximum points emerged victorious. The fierce and exhilarating competition culminated in “Pune AI Heroes” being crowned as the ultimate champions, taking home the glory and the title of Season 3.0 winners.

#PlayGalaxy Cup 3.0 also featured India’s top gaming talent, including Total Gaming, Techno Gamerz, Carry Minati, Gamerfleet, Mythpat, Triggered Insaan, Kaashvi, Desi Gamer, Sourav Joshi, SlayyPoint and SMR Gaming, Jonty Gaming, Gareeboooo, Tomboy from the Samsung #PlayGalaxy community.
