<p>India Newsroom team travelled to Khimsar, a tourist attraction some 90 kms from Jodhpur in Rajasthan. We were eager to test the low-light photography prowess of Samsung Galaxy On Max. The other prized possession we had – besides Galaxy On Max of course– was ace photographer Mr. Aman Chotani!</p>
<p>Our first stop was Khimsar Fort, built in 1523 by Rao Karamsji, the eighth son of Rao Jodha of Jodhpur. At the Khimsar Fort, Mr. Chotani held a photography workshop, where he talked about camera elements, angles as well as the importance of light in photography.</p>
<div id="attachment_3386" style="width: 4138px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_173453.jpg"><img loading="lazy" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-3386" class="wp-image-3386 size-full" src="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_173453.jpg" alt="Capturing Khimsar’s Picturesque Evening with Samsung Galaxy On Max Camera" width="4128" height="3096" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-3386" class="wp-caption-text">Aman Chotani at his photography workshop in Khimsar Fort</p></div>
<p>Controlling light is one of the most important aspects of photography, Mr. Chotani said. He said low-light photography can be challenging for amateurs, but a good camera can compensate for photographic skills.</p>
<p>“Light is the most important element when we go out. If there is no light, there can’t be an image or picture. The most important thing therefore is to control light. This phone has manual settings, exposure setting so you can create a controlled image,” Mr. Chotani said.</p>
<p><a href="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_191420.jpg"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone wp-image-3371 size-large" src="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_191420-1024x768.jpg" alt=" Capturing Khimsar’s Picturesque Evening with Samsung Galaxy On Max Camera" width="1024" height="768" /></a></p>
<p>Our next destination was Khimsar Sand Dunes Village. There was a consensus in the group that it was one of the most beautiful places in India. An oasis in the middle of the desert, surrounded by sand dunes, has got to be breathtaking!</p>
<div id="attachment_3392" style="width: 4138px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_194915.jpg"><img loading="lazy" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-3392" class="wp-image-3392 size-full" src="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_194915.jpg" alt="Capturing Khimsar’s Picturesque Evening with Samsung Galaxy On Max Camera" width="4128" height="3096" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-3392" class="wp-caption-text">The Oasis at Khimsar Sand Dunes Village</p></div>
<p><a href="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_193332.jpg"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone wp-image-3373 size-full" src="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_193332.jpg" alt="Capturing Khimsar’s Picturesque Evening with Samsung Galaxy On Max Camera" width="4128" height="3096" /></a></p>
<p>Khimsar Sand Dunes Village provided the perfect backdrop for low-light photography. The sun was about to set and the oasis played the perfect foil to the vast expanse of desert around. Sharing pictures through Galaxy On Max is a breeze, considering it sports the social camera mode, which allowed us share images instantly.</p>
<p><a href="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_201517.jpg"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone wp-image-3374 size-large" src="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_201517-768x1024.jpg" alt="Capturing Khimsar’s Picturesque Evening with Samsung Galaxy On Max Camera" width="768" height="1024" /></a></p>
<p>Once the sun set, we got to witness a spectacular and melodious cultural treat – involving Rajasthani folk songs and traditional dance. A few performers put up some hair-raising performances too.</p>
<p><a href="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_195846.jpg"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone wp-image-3375 size-large" src="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_195846-1024x768.jpg" alt="Capturing Khimsar’s Picturesque Evening with Samsung Galaxy On Max Camera" width="1024" height="768" /></a></p>
<p>It was soon time to call it a day. We were thankful that we were able to store our precious moments as vivid images, thanks to the great low-light performance of Galaxy On Max camera.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone wp-image-3380 size-full" src="https://img.global.news.samsung.com/in/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/20170711_190139.jpg" alt="Capturing Khimsar’s Picturesque Evening with Samsung Galaxy On Max Camera" width="3096" height="4128" /></p>
<p>Galaxy On Max comes with a 13MP rear camera and an f/1.7 aperture, making it a great shooter to take low-light photographs. It is available exclusively on Flipkart at a price of Rs. 16,900.</p>
