Launched on the Samsung Members platform, the initiative invited users to share their personal Holi stories and photographs around a simple yet powerful idea — “Every colour tells a story. What’s yours?”

And the response was nothing short of colourful.

From playful gulal-filled moments with friends to heartfelt celebrations with family, Samsung Members from across India filled the platform with vivid snapshots of their festivities. Each image captured a different shade of the festival — joy, nostalgia, laughter, friendship and togetherness.

More than just a photo-sharing campaign, #MyHoliStory became a lively community celebration. Members didn’t just post their stories — they interacted with each other, exchanging festive wishes, commenting on posts and celebrating the diversity of Holi traditions across the country.

For the very first time, Samsung Members Connect went virtual—and what a success it was! On 25th June 2025, thousands of Galaxy users from every corner of India joined in from the comfort of their homes to be part of an experience that brought the best of Galaxy right to their screens.

The result? A dynamic, content-rich experience that immersed participants in the latest innovations across Galaxy AI, the Galaxy Ecosystem, Samsung Wallet, Samsung Health, SmartThings, and more.

Samsung Members Connect has always been about celebrating the people who use and shape Samsung’s innovations and technology. This year, Samsung opened the experience to every Galaxy user in India, no matter where they are. What truly set this event apart was the energy and enthusiasm of the Galaxy community.  Interactive Q&A sessions kept the engagement high throughout the day. Lucky draws, exclusive giveaways, and surprise shoutouts added moments of delight and joy.

Several Members shared how being part of this virtual event made them feel seen, heard, and connected—especially those attending a Samsung event for the first time.

“This year, Samsung Members Connect was an incredible experience. It was my deep dive into innovation, smart living and the ever-evolving Galaxy Ecosystem – I walked away inspired and informed,” said Yash Agarwal, a Samsung Member.

In today’s digital world, creators are a driving force, bringing new ideas and creations to life through mobile devices. Darshan and Karan were joined by 48 other members who got to spend three nights and four days in San Jose where the event offered exclusive access to Galaxy Unpacked 2024, in-depth learning sessions and hands-on experiences with the Galaxy S24 series.

50 passionate Samsung Members Stars witnessed the dawn of the new mobile AI era and had several exciting activities spread over four days which allowed them to not just explore the Galaxy ecosystem but also the city of San Jose.

For both young Samsung Members, it was nothing short of an adventure & one of the most important events of their life as they experienced the biggest Samsung Unpacked event of their life.

“Being in San Jose for Samsung Unpacked 2024 was historic because I got to witness Samsung introducing the Galaxy AI. The whole world was waiting for this moment, and I got to be a part of it, it still feels surreal. I am never going to forget that I had goosebumps while I was there,” said Karan.

Samsung Members experienced how Galaxy AI could transform the lifestyles of millions.  The highlight of the event was the first-ever unveiling of the Galaxy S24 series at Galaxy Unpacked 2024. Samsung Members Stars were some of the first to witness the groundbreaking device, complete with cutting-edge mobile AI features aimed to empower users in their everyday lives.

“For me, it a stary night. From the moment we entered the venue, every little thing felt dreamy.  Watching the amalgamation of technology and innovation coming alive to change the way we live was something that was jaw dropping. Galaxy S24’s many innovations from Live Translate, Note Assist to Edit suggestion were super exciting,” said Darshan.

A revolutionary mobile experience is coming on 17th January. Samsung Electronics will host the first Unpacked of 2024 in San Jose.

As Samsung unveils the latest premium Galaxy innovations, providing an all-new mobile experience powered by AI, two Samsung Member Stars from India, Darshan Jaiswal and Karan Singh are going to join the action in San Jose with members, fans, media and influencers from all over the world.

Samsung Members are lovers of innovation, who constantly crave content around technology, innovation and design. The community comprises Gen Z from all across the country.

Talking about his inspiration behind the shot, Vaibhav explained, “I was feeling truly patriotic last week and everything around me felt like it is colored in saffron, white and green. I chose this particular shot since it had just rained, and the wet streets were almost glowing. The passerby served as the perfect addition to my shot. The entire aura of that evening really inspired me. I have been extremely passionate about capturing rare shots and my Galaxy M Series Device is a perfect partner”.

Open skies filled with birds and lush, green mountains oozing charm – Munnar’s every corner is simply stunning! Touted as god’s own country Kerala’s jewel, this shot captures the true essence of the hill station- nature at its best.

Speaking about the inspiration behind this shot, Siddharth said, “Whatever can be said or written about the beauty of Munnar is less! This place is truly blessed by God and a true treasure trove of beauty and peace. Maybe that’s why Kerala is called God’s own country. As an advocate of good photography and Galaxy devices, I can say without a shadow of doubt that this picture takes me back in time. The beauty of Munnar inspired me and my Galaxy device empowered me to take this shot”.

Shot on Galaxy S Series, this click will instantly make you feel at peace. Focused on a single giant rock, embraced by an unending blue ocean on one side and the city on the other, this picture perfectly captures different shades of nature.

Talking about his love for photography and Samsung devices, Anjanikumar said, “Samsung #Galaxy S Series was the first smartphone that I’ve tried mobile photography with. The phone enabled me to express my passion. Samsung Galaxy has stayed my phone of choice ever since. I’m currently using the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The smartphone has helped me keep up with my photography aspirations with their exceptional quality. For me, the phone has become a sketchbook, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity. Don’t confuse this click with a painting! It’s actually shot on a Galaxy device. The photographer aptly describes it as “behold the sunrise as it paints the sky and whispers its golden secrets onto the tranquil canvas of the lake’s reflection.” And we couldn’t agree more. Pink, grey, purple, blue, yellow- the sky truly imitates a canvas through this picture. Add to that the surrounding green trees, and it’s picture-perfect!

Talking about the shot, Haroon said, “Photography is more than just clicking a button on a camera; it’s about capturing the essence of a moment, freezing emotions in time, and telling stories without uttering a single word. It’s a medium through which I can express my creativity, connect with people on a profound level, and share my perspective with the world. Through the lens of my camera, I’ve witnessed the beauty in the mundane, the elegance in simplicity, and the magic in everyday life. I believe every moment, every scene, every interaction has the potential to spark our creative souls.”

Captured on a Galaxy S Series device, this picture is adding some international flavor to our picks. Capturing a golden sunrise over the mountain peaks of Switzerland, this picture looks nothing short of a painter’s masterpiece.

Talking about the inspiration behind this picture and photography, Ramdas said, “I’ve always been passionate about photography, ever since I was a child. When I got my first smartphone, I was amazed at the quality of the photos I could take with it. I realized that I could use my phone to take photos anywhere, anytime, without having to lug around a bulky camera. I started taking my phone with me everywhere I went, and I would always be on the lookout for interesting things to photograph. All you need is a smartphone and a creative eye. All we need is a passion for photography and a willingness to experiment. I’m excited to see what the future holds for smartphone photography. I’m committed to using my phone to create beautiful and meaningful images, and I hope to inspire others to do the same.”

To enhance the value of these connections and take it to the next level, Samsung hosted an exciting event bringing together Samsung Members Stars from 15 countries at Samsung Headquarters in South Korea.

The event spanned three days for Samsung Members Stars. With the theme of “Connect,” the trip aimed to strengthen the bonds between the participants while creating an engaging and interactive space for everyone involved.

This was the first time participants from India were travelling to meet, engage and create content with their global counterparts. Samsung Members Stars Rohit Gadher, Amol Vadhgave and Rajat Sharma had the chance to experience the essence of Samsung at various locations across South Korea. The whole tour was full of content and gaming opportunities and the members were super excited to face these real time challenges.

The 30 stars from 15 countries and their local managers were divided into 6 groups where they had to do daily tasks and stand a chance to win prizes.

Samsung Members Star Rohit Gadher who attended the event, said, “I’m Grateful to be part of the Global Connect because it was so full of learnings. I had great experience over there. Get to know about my fellow members and share mutual bond towards Samsung. Even though it feels like once in a lifetime experience, I wish to represent my country in many such Global events.”

The three stars from India got a chance to explore the Samsung Innovation Museum (S/I/M) in Suwon, participated in programs at Samsung Digital City, fostered deeper connections with Samsung at the brand’s headquarters. Participants also gained firsthand experience of Galaxy’s quality testing process through a tour of the Galaxy QA Lab at the Samsung Digital City.

“Samsung Members connect was a dynamic experience, filled with hustle, happiness, adventure and beauty. It was amazing to meet Members from all over the globe, learnt from them with respect to their experiences with the services and their culture. Felt like it was all a movie or a dream,” said Amol Vadhgave.

Throughout the three-day program, Samsung Members Stars engaged in daily photo quests and collaborated in teams to create short films. The participants actively engaged in social sharing activities, utilizing the excellent camera features of the Galaxy S23 Ultra (such as Nightography, 200MP, 10x Zoom, Portrait Mode, etc.) to capture every corner of Seoul. During the gala dinner on the final day, they had the chance to appreciate and discuss the final works. The event provided an opportunity to exchange creative inspiration, opinions and tips.

Samsung Members Star Rajat Sharma, said “It was a great learning curve, met some really talented people and visited some gorgeous locations. It also felt great to be nominated in almost all categories. Together, all of us made some memories that will last forever.”

When Om Amol Vadgave received the invitation to be a part of Galaxy Unpacked 2022, his joy knew no bounds. Although this was his third time at a Samsung Unpacked event, but this evening was special. Amol’s video entry had been shortlisted for the Samsung Members Live Global Creators Awards!

“Getting nominated for a global award and getting a chance to represent Samsung India with the entire world watching was stellar for me. Then to have won the award – it is surreal,” an excited Om said after winning the top award.

Before this year’s edition of Galaxy Unpacked, Samsung Members across the globe were asked about the most cinematic thing that ever happened in their life. They responded with some mind-blowing videos and photographs. Out of hundreds of super cool entries received, six from India made the cut.

Amongst the finalists were three creators from India – Vadgave from Sangli, Maharashtra and Darshan Jaiswal from Vadodara, Gujarat were among the final contestants for the Best Video Creator Award, while Siddharth Abhishek from Patna, Bihar had his entry nominated for the Best Photo Creator category.

“There lies beauty in every small thing. Capturing videos and photos is my way of expressing myself and bringing that beauty to my audience, and I’m thankful to my Galaxy device for enabling me to do this,” Om told Samsung Newsroom.

The Samsung Members Live was hosted by Cristian, a Galaxy user and fan who also hosted the 2021 edition of Samsung Members Live Galaxy Unpacked. His co-host was Anupam Tripathi, who took the world by storm with his performance in the popular Netflix series Squid Game.

Fellow finalist Darshan was very excited to meet his favourite star from Squid Games. “I couldn’t believe it was a Squid Game star hosting us at the event. It made the Unpacked 2021 even more exciting,” said Darshan.

It was a moment of a lifetime for Siddharth, finalist in the best photo creator category. “As a freelancer, it was great to have my photo shortlisted as one of the final entries for a global award. My Galaxy device helps me explore myself through the photographs that I capture, and I feel really happy that Samsung Members empowered me to be able to make the best of this opportunity,” he said.
