Samsung’s new five-star Direct Cool Single Door Refrigerator lineup has been uniquely designed for extra space and comes in gross capacity of 198 liters with H-Bar chrome handle design. It will also have Samsung’s next generation base stand drawer that provides additional storage for non-perishable vegetables. Poised to break away from the clutter and deliver on aesthetics, the new refrigerator comes in new floral designs with next generation crown door design.

The new lineup comes with 10-year warranty on the compressor and digital inverter technology with stabilizer free operations. A solution to long power cuts, the model comes equipped with digital inverter technology allowing the refrigerator to run on a home inverter with reduced power consumption. The refrigerator can also be connected to solar power, contributing to energy conservation, in line with the government’s efforts to promote solar power.

Design

Under the ‘Make for India’ initiative, Samsung has provided a unique base stand drawer that acts as an additional storage unit in the refrigerator. In addition, refrigerators in this lineup will have higher capacity compared to conventional models and a new set of design patterns – Paradise Bloom, New Camellia, Wave and Mystic Overlay, which add to the aesthetic value of the product. The new lineup will also sport the next-Gen crown design along with the H-bar Chrome handle, a first for the Indian market.

Technology

Equipped with an advanced compressor utilizing the digital inverter technology and solar power compatibility, the latest lineup comes with Samsung’s DNA of innovation. The new refrigerators adhere to the latest BEE guidelines and regulations, increasing cost saving potential for consumers.

Samsung’s new five-star Direct Cool Single Door Refrigerator lineup will be available across all retail channels and on Samsung Shop from January 15, 2020 and will start from a price of INR 17,990, bringing in a combination of features and energy efficiency.

Samsung India today showcased India’s first Digital Inverter Compressor in Direct Cool Single Door Refrigerator series.

The revolutionary Samsung Smart Convertible 5-in-1 Refrigerator is powered by Twin Cooling Plus technology that enables consumers to be flexible with cooling storage depending on their needs. The true independent cooling system allows turning the freezer into a fridge when required.

The five modes are Normal, Extra Shopping, Vacation, Seasonal, and Home Alone Mode.

So now if you bring home more bags home just convert your freezer into fridge with ‘Extra Shopping Mode’. If you are going out on vacation & need to store some food in freezer, simply switch on ‘Vacation Mode’ and keep only the freezer on & turn off the fridge section. With change of season just switch to ‘Seasonal Mode’ keep only the fridge on & switch off the freezer. When alone at home and don’t have a lot to store just switch to ‘Home Alone’ that switches off the fridge and converts freezer section into fridge.
