Samsung Electronics Win Green Technology Certificate with Eco-Friendly Packaging

Samsung Electronics won Green Technology Certificate from the Ministry of Environment for the first time as an electronics manufacturer in Korea with its contraction and eco-friendly packaging for washers and refrigerators respectively. Green Technology Certificate was first issued by the government back in 2010 based on the Low Carbon Green Growth Framework Act. It is also the most representative green certificate in Korea, granted to technologies minimizing the greenhouse gas and pollutants emissions while saving energy and natural resources.

삼성전자, 환경부 시행 친환경 포장 녹색기술 인증

삼성전자 세탁기 수축포장과 냉장고 친환경 포장이 환경부에서 시행하는 녹색기술 인증을 국내 전자업계로는 유일하게 획득했다. 녹색기술 인증은 저탄소 녹색성장 기본법에 근거해 2010년부터 정부에서 지원하며, 한국산업기술진흥원에서 주관해 시행해온 국내 대표적인 친환경 인증으로, 에너지와 자원 절약을 통해 온실가스와 오염 물질의 배출을 최소화시킨 기술에 한해 발급한다.
