Samsung Large Format Displays to Enter Global Film Market

Samsung Electronics showcased its LFD at CineEurope 2013, Europe's leading theatrical exhibitor trade fair in Barcelona, Spain held for four days from 24 to 27 to enter global film market in earnest. CineEurope gives visitors a snapshot of the latest trends in the industry covering global companies in movie production, distribution, and equipments manufacturers such as Samsung Electronics, Coca Cola, and Dolby to cutting edge technologies. Samsung Electronics built a booth which strikes more like a theater to offer “Cinematic Journey.”

삼성전자가 24 ~ 27일 스페인 바르셀로나에서 열리는 유럽 최대 영화산업 전시회 '시네 유럽(Cine Europe) 2013'에 처음 참가하며 세계 영화업계를 대상으로 상업용 디스플레이 제품 공급에 본격 나섰다. '시네 유럽'은 영화산업 전반을 다루는 유럽 최대 규모의 영화전문 전시회로 삼성전자, 코카콜라, 돌비 등 글로벌기업을 비롯해 영화업계와 구매, 유통, 장비업체 등이 참여해 첨단 기술을 망라한 영화계의 최신 경향을 보여 준다. 삼성전자는 전시관을 실제 영화관처럼 꾸며 입구부터 영화관람을 끝마칠 때까지 박진감 넘치는 영상을 선사하는 '영화의 여정(Cinematic Journey)'을 보여 준다.
