Samsung Electronics VP HAN Myoung Sup Named as PMDA’s Person of the Year

HAN Myoung Sup, president of the Digital Imaging division of Samsung Electronics, has been named their 2014 Person of the Year on the 6th the local time by PhotoImaging Manufacturers and Distributors Association (PMDA). This distinguished award is being given to Han in recognition of his contributions to the highly innovative Samsung Galaxy digital imaging products that are driving new consumer experiences in digital photography and connectivity.

삼성전자 이미징사업팀 한명섭 부사장이 6일(현지시간) 미국 라스베이거스에서 열린 PMDA(PhotoImaging Manufacturers and Distributors Association)의 시상식에서 '올해의 인물(Person of the Year)' 상을 수상했다. 미국 PMDA는 카메라 업계에 공적을 남긴 인물을 선정해 매년 CES 기간에 시상식을 진행하며, 스마트 카메라로 업계에 새로운 지평을 열었다고 평가받는 삼성전자의 이미징사업팀장을 '올해의 인물'로 선정했다.
