Samsung Wins Prestigious VDE Certification

Samsung Electronics earned 20 year life-span certification by VDE (Verband Deutschle Elektrotrchniker) with its drum washer motor. VDE recognized the durability of Samsung Electronics’ drum washer motor, which is capable of 4,400 loads of laundry for 20 years, or 4.2 loads a week or 220 loads a year. The test was conducted under real-life conditions of unstable rotational speed and vibration for the period of one year and four months at the VDE headquarters in Germany.
