The first partners in the initiative, AmBank, Family Mart, Maxis, Pay4U, and ZUS Coffee, leveraged Samsung and Android platform’s capabilities to enrich user experiences on their local apps. During the recent partner sharing session, themed, ‘Reimagining Foldables for Malaysians’, they showcased their app optimisation through the flexible use of screen expansions and multi-angle fold usages.

In the coming months, Samsung will be onboarding more partners, including Gigi Coffee, Golden Screen Cinemas, TGV Cinemas, and Zapp. Additionally, Samsung aims to collaborate with local universities on a hackathon, where students will pitch foldable app ideas.
