Samsung To Spotlight 2027 Odyssey Lineup at Gamescom 2026

Samsung will present the 2027 Odyssey lineup for the first time during its dedicated Gamescom 2026 session, “#PlaySamsung : The Next Era of Gaming Displays,” at 10:30 a.m. CET on Aug. 27. The session will explore how screen size, resolution, refresh rate, and display modes suit different games and play styles.

The Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SJ model) and Odyssey OLED G7 (G75SJ model) will be unveiled on stage, while the Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SJ model) and Odyssey G6 (G60H model) will be introduced on-screen during the keynote.

As a part of the session, Samsung will also spotlight its HDR10+ GAMING partnership with Activision Blizzard, bringing richer HDR gameplay into the development process for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4. The technology helps compatible Odyssey monitors and Samsung displays deliver color and contrast that more accurately reflect the creative intent of each game. Samsung plans to expand the HDR10+ GAMING ecosystem to more than 20 AAA titles by the first half of 2027.

Odyssey OLED G9: 49-Inch OLED Speed for Ultra-Wide Gameplay

The Odyssey OLED G9 is the world’s first 49-inch DQHD gaming monitor with a 360 Hz refresh rate. It features a fifth-generation QD-OLED panel with Penta Tandem technology. Its five-layer panel structure is up to 1.3 times more efficient and offers up to twice the lifetime of the previous generation.
