The Galaxy Note9 Roadshow taking over Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, 29 August 2018 – Following the official launch in Malaysia last two weeks, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 is finally in town and Samsung Malaysia Electronics continued the excitement with consumer roadshows that offered super rewards in major cities around the country over the weekend!

The roadshows took place concurrently from 24^th till 26^th August 2018, at five different locations in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang, Kuantan, and Kota Kinabalu. The excitement for the Galaxy Note9 was clear as customers started waiting in line before the doors to the mall were opened during the 1^st day of the roadshow.

Qusai Gulam Ali, a 25 year-old mechanical engineer was the first customer who lined up since 12am on the first day to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note9 at the Suria KLCC roadshow in Kuala Lumpur. “It is the best phone around now. The best thing Galaxy Note9 has for me is the large 4000mah battery that offers all-day usage. Also, now the S pen that comes with Bluetooth function comes in really handy for me. I’m really excited about this purchase and I can’t wait to get into it when I’m back home!”

Abdul Manan B Abdul Manaf, a 48 year-old resort manager who purchased two (2) units of the Samsung Galaxy Note9 for himself and his wife shared his excitement as he had been waiting for the new Galaxy Note since his wife bought a Samsung Galaxy S9 early this year. “Having previously used the Galaxy S8+, I am delighted with the innovation by Samsung. As a resort manager, I multi-task frequently and I need a high performance device that allows me to achieve my goals in both work and life. Penang, 13 July 2018 – Samsung Malaysia Electronics has collaborated with Ban Hin Bee Sdn Bhd to launch the 11^th Samsung Brand Shop in Bayan Baru, Penang today.

The management team of Samsung and Ban Hin Bee were present at the opening ceremony of the shop, which retails Samsung’s latest collection of home entertainment products, including 2018 QLED TV series, along with other preferred home appliances such as Digital Inverter refrigerators and QuickDrive washing machines. The opening represents Samsung’s continuous efforts in expanding its reach to other regions in Malaysia with its products and services.

“The opening of the Samsung Brand Shop, in partnership with Ban Hin Bee Sdn Bhd, is a strategic decision that enables Samsung to explore market opportunities in the region and also cater to the lifestyles of its residents. Samsung authorised technicians will subsequently make house visits to carry out inspection on the affected products.

For Carry In Products (mobile devices, vacuum cleaner, microwave oven, air purifier, television below 29-inch, and audio home systems), customers are required to send in their affected Samsung products to the authorised Samsung Service Centres located in Penang or Kedah, where Samsung authorised technicians will then attend to the repair request on the damaged product. Operating days and hours of the selected authorised Samsung Service Centres may vary for different outlets.

8. SCOPE OF WARRANTY AFTER FREE REPAIRS

Scope of warranty after free repairs is as follows:

• For the out-warranty repairs, if any part of the Product part was replaced by the authorised Samsung Service Centre during the repair, the new part installed shall be entitled to thirty (30) days Parts Warranty starting from the date of collection, AND all faulty parts that are replaced will be retained by the Samsung Service Centre.
• For in-warranty repairs, end consumer will be entitled to the remaining warranty coverage.

* For mobile devices, end consumers are required to back up his/her data before submitting it in for diagnosis/repair. Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn Bhd (“Samsung”) and/or its authorised Samsung Service Centre shall not be responsible for any data lost during the inspection/repair process.

9. Samsung reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions without prior notice. In case of any dispute, Samsung reserves the right to make the final decision.

10. Samsung reserves the right to disqualify any repair request where Samsung has reasonable suspicion that there is any dishonest, fraudulent or unlawful conduct or behaviour and/or any non-compliance with the Terms and Conditions stated herein.
