Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced the upcoming global launch of the HU8000F series, its 2025 Hospitality TV. Available in six sizes — 43″, 50″, 55″, 65″, 75″ and 85″ — the HU8000F empowers hotel owners with powerful management tools to elevate guest stays while providing visitors with effortless streaming and connectivity options through Google Cast. Samsung will unveil the HU8000F series at HITEC 2025, the world’s largest and longest-running hospitality technology event, which takes place between June 16-19 in Indianapolis, USA.

“Samsung’s HU8000F Hospitality TV series delivers a new level of in-room experience, combining brilliant 4K picture, advanced streaming and easy management,” said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. “With Google Cast support, an AirSlim design, and integrated cloud capabilities, we are redefining what’s possible for hotel entertainment worldwide.”

Premium Picture Quality, AirSlim Design and Effortless Streaming

The HU8000F is powered by Samsung’s Crystal Processor 4K and features HDR10+ and Dynamic Crystal Color, immersing hotel guests in one billion shades of color with lifelike clarity and detail. Additionally, its sleek AirSlim design creates an elegant, nearly bezel-free look that complements any hotel space.

The new model has expanded content options for guests by adding Prime Video to its portfolio — along with Netflix and Samsung TV Plus — which are all accessible from the Tizen OS Home. For an enhanced viewing experience, the HU8000F also includes adaptive sound technology, providing real-time audio scene analysis and quality optimization to any news program, sports game, musical performance, TV show or movie.

Hotel-Ready Features and Integrated Hospitality Solution

For centralized remote management and actionable business insights for hotel managers, Samsung LYNK Cloud streamlines global hospitality operations while helping drive incremental revenue through targeted promotions. With SmartThings Pro and a multi-code remote, hotel staff can offer personalized in-room experiences and ensure interference-free control, enhancing both convenience and guest satisfaction.

As Google Cast is integrated directly into Samsung’s hotel TV series, guests can easily access their favorite content from 5,000 Cast-enabled apps by mirroring their Android and iOS devices on the TV, without the need for additional dongles or login requirements. Embedding Cast also reduces costs for hotels and system integrators by removing the need to buy and maintain extra hub-type devices, avoiding the risk of theft for those types of devices and freeing up an HDMI port.

For hotels currently using the HBU8000, a software update will soon be available to enable Google Cast without interrupting service.[1] This upgrade has already been successfully deployed in Indonesia at The Apurva Kempinski Bali and Swissôtel Living Jakarta Mega Kuningan through simultaneous software updates, demonstrating the scalability and reliability of the solution.

With Google Cast and over-the-top (OTT) integration, the HU8000F ensures seamless viewing options and an optimized solution that enhances viewing experiences.

Samsung’s hospitality display series is also built to include practical features tailored for hotel environments, including RJ12 connectors, bathroom speaker support and LAN output ports. Powered by the intuitive and secure Tizen platform, the HU8000F offers smooth navigation, enterprise-grade protection with Samsung Knox and flexible connectivity through multiple HDMI and USB ports.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced its next generation of commercial displays that feature AI-powered solutions at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025.

The Samsung Color E-Paper delivers new levels of energy efficiency, while the AI features in SmartThings Pro and the Interactive Display increase the intelligence, control and usability of business-focused screens. In addition, the supersized 115” Smart Signage screen brings a new level of immersive visuals to life. All of these innovative solutions are being displayed at ISE, in booth 3F500.

“For commercial displays, it is crucial to address the market’s demand for energy efficiency and simple device management, while at the same time meeting the public’s desire for immersive experiences,” said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “Our latest innovations, including the near-zero power Samsung Color E-Paper and advanced AI capabilities brought by all the models, showcase our commitment to pioneering new markets and providing transformative business solutions worldwide.”

Samsung Color E-Paper Brings Greater Energy Efficiency and Flexibility

Samsung Color E-Paper (EMDX model) redefines energy-efficient digital signage by combining digital ink with innovative full-color e-paper technology. This ultra-low power, lightweight and slim display serves as an eco-conscious alternative to traditional analog and paper-based promotional materials while delivering the high visibility and functionality that businesses demand.

Leveraging advanced digital ink technology, the EMDX operates at 0.00W power when displaying static images, while consuming significantly less energy during image transitions compared to traditional digital signage, resulting in substantial cost savings.[1] The ultra-slim and lightweight design ensures effortless installation, while the range of sizes — 13″ (1,600 x 1,200); 25″ (3,200 x 1,800); 32″ QHD (2,560 x 1,440); and an outdoor version that is 75″ 5K (5,120 x 2,880) — are optimized to cater to diverse business needs. The Color E-Paper also includes a rechargeable 5000mAh battery, two USB-C ports for charging and data transfer, 8GB of memory, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support for enhanced connectivity.

For seamless device management, a dedicated mobile app[2] allows users to remotely operate displays, schedule wake-up and sleep times, and even set playlists with predefined intervals. Samsung VXT (Visual eXperience Transformation) further simplifies content operation with a feature exclusive to the Samsung Color E-Paper. A specialized algorithm optimizes content visibility for the display and includes a preview function to ensure content and color are accurate before deployment.

Content management is made simple through the mobile app and Samsung VXT, with businesses also able to use their own solutions through Tizen Enterprise APIs, which enable easy integration with existing management systems.

Moreover, as part of Samsung’s ongoing commitment to a sustainable future, the cover of the Color E-Paper is made from over 50% recycled plastics, while its packaging is made entirely from paper.

In 2025, SmartThings Pro, Samsung’s hyper-connected business-to-business (B2B) management platform, brings enhanced AI and automation capabilities to improve operational efficiency.[3]

The platform offers Interactive View, which uses AI to convert 2D floor plans into 3D images of business premises. This 3D visualization makes it easier to understand and navigate spaces intuitively, enabling business operators to manage connected devices with ease.

SmartThings Pro also features advanced automation controls, allowing businesses to adjust settings — such as power, volume and brightness — based on pre-set conditions like ambient lighting, room occupancy and store operating hours. These automated adjustments save time while ensuring devices are optimized for their environments. When using SmartThings Pro on displays, switching between content streams is equally seamless. This is because users are able to effortlessly change channels or input sources for a streamlined experience.[4]

Additionally, Samsung Smart Signage features CryptoCore, a FIPS 140-3-certified encryption module that safeguards sensitive authentication data for IoT connections and ensures that these connections between devices remain secure.[5]

At ISE, Samsung is also showcasing the 2025 Interactive Display (WAFX-P model), powered by Android OS 15 and featuring new AI capabilities that enhance education and collaboration opportunities.

The WAFX-P model provides AI capabilities, featuring Circle to Search, which enables users to easily search for images or translate text directly on-screen, and AI Summary, which automatically generates concise recaps of lectures or meetings.

Supersized 4K Smart Signage Redefines Immersion

Samsung’s 115” 4K Smart Signage (QHFX model) leads the industry in advancing supersized displays, offering businesses bold new ways to captivate audiences and transform environments with immersive visuals.

Building on the success of last year’s 105” QPDX-5K model, which features a 21:9 aspect ratio optimized for video conferencing, the 115” QHFX delivers greater versatility with its 16:9 aspect ratio, and its multi-view functionality — which supports up to four split windows — makes it ideal for simultaneously showcasing multiple content streams. This adaptability makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, from meeting rooms to luxurious retail stores requiring premium, large-scale displays.

The QHFX also eliminates visible borders commonly associated with traditional video walls, creating an uninterrupted display that engages viewers and enhances any environment. Featuring QLED 4K resolution, 700 nits of maximum brightness and Tizen OS 8.0, it ensures vibrant visuals and smooth performance. The QHFX integrates seamlessly with SmartThings Pro and Samsung VXT, while additional user-friendly features — like a built-in handle for easy installation and VESA[6] compatibility — provide businesses with flexibility and convenience.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a global leader in display technology, today announced it will showcase its highly anticipated 2025 hotel TV lineup at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 in Barcelona. The new lineup combines sophisticated designs, cutting-edge in-room entertainment features, and a unified platform, reinforcing Samsung’s commitment to redefining the premium hotel experience.

“Our 2025 hotel TV lineup is designed to elevate the guest experience with personalization at its core,” said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “Hotels can customize their room’s ambiance with The Frame’s Art Mode, offer seamless streaming with Apple Airplay and, the newly added Google Cast, and enable convenient control of the room environment through SmartThings Pro, all tailored to individual guest preferences.”

Redefining Hotel Aesthetics With The Frame

Samsung’s 2025 lineup introduces the award-winning The Frame (model name HL03F) [1] as a hotel TV, bringing stunning 4K QLED picture quality with vivid colors, deep contrasts and lifelike visuals to every room, all while maintaining a sleek and sophisticated design that transforms interiors. With its innovative Art Mode, The Frame allows hotel managers to customize guest rooms and surroundings by displaying a curated selection of modern or classic artwork — or even other tailored images such as hotel-branded visuals — when the TV is not in use.

Combined with an Anti-Reflection Matte Display that limits light interference and a Slim-Fit Wall Mount that enables the TV to sit flush against the wall like a true art piece, The Frame elevates hotel aesthetics with a unique blend of luxury and personalization.

As the official visual display sponsor of Art Basel, The Frame reflects Samsung’s dedication to combining cutting-edge technology with timeless design. Its introduction sets a new benchmark for hotels seeking to deliver a refined, personalized and visually captivating experience for their guests.

Enhancing Guest Experiences With Google Cast for Seamless Streaming

▲ Google Cast is a trademark of Google LLC.

Samsung’s 2025 hotel TV lineup, along with the 2024 HBU8000, takes in-room entertainment to the next level by supporting Google Cast[2] for secure, seamless, in-room streaming. Guests will be able to easily cast their favorite content directly from their Android and iOS devices to the TV without the need for additional dongles or login requirements. The connection process is quick and straightforward, utilizing QR codes for instant pairing.

“We’re thrilled to bring Google Cast to Samsung TVs, extending the convenience of seamless content sharing to both hospitality and consumer models,” said Tiger Lan, Google’s senior director of engineering for multi-device experiences. “Whether guests are enjoying their favorite shows and playlists on hotel TVs or streaming effortlessly at home, this collaboration ensures users have reliable, personalized access to their content wherever they are.”

The lineup also supports Apple AirPlay,[3] allowing hotel guests to securely connect their iOS and iPadOS devices to the TVs in their rooms for an effortless streaming experience.

Unlike traditional systems, both Apple Airplay and Google Cast can be used independently of third-party system integrator (SI) requirements, simplifying installation for hotels and reducing infrastructure demands. Furthermore, Samsung ensures robust privacy by ensuring that no personal information or device pairing data is stored, giving guests complete peace of mind during their stay.

Streamlining Hotel Operations With a Connected Ecosystem

Samsung’s 2025 hotel TV lineup introduces a fully connected ecosystem designed to enhance operations and elevate guest experiences. With Tizen 9.0, guests benefit from an intuitive and seamless interface that simplifies access to streaming apps, smart room controls, and personalized services, creating a more enjoyable and connected stay.

For hotel operators, LYNK Cloud offers a powerful cloud-based solution that combines customizable content delivery, remote device management and over-the-top (OTT) entertainment. Equipped with an e-commerce platform, it enables guests to perform service interactions such as ordering room service, booking hotel amenities, and accessing a digital concierge. Simultaneously, hotel managers gain valuable insights to personalize guest content and deploy targeted promotions across rooms or properties globally, driving operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

SmartThings Pro further strengthens IoT connectivity by enabling secure and centralized control of Samsung Hospitality TVs, Smart Signage, air conditioning systems and more. With a scalable dashboard and customizable application programming interfaces (APIs), SmartThings Pro allows hotel IT teams to monitor performance, manage devices across multiple units and seamlessly integrate with existing systems.

Samsung will unveil its ultra-low power display, Samsung Color E-Paper (EMDX model), for the first time at InfoComm. Seamlessly blending digital ink with innovative full-color e-paper technology, this new signage can replace analog or paper promotional materials.

The new product offers a more eco-conscious alternative to traditional promotional methods while delivering the high-visibility signage businesses need. The Samsung Color E-Paper operates at 0.00W[1] when displaying static image and consumes significantly less power than traditional digital signage when changing images. Additionally, managers can remotely control the Color E-Paper, setting schedules to save energy with automatic wake-up and sleep times.

The 32-inch screen is equipped with QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution and a 60,000-color gamut (six colors per pixel: red, yellow, green, blue, white and black). Weighing only 2.9kg and measuring 17.9mm in width,[2] it can be seamlessly installed in various locations, such as walls, tables or even ceilings, without additional mounts. This flexibility allows businesses and advertisers to deploy the Color E-Paper in multiple locations to effectively engage audiences while reducing operational costs.

It also supports the Samsung VXT solution, enabling real-time monitoring and remote integrated management of multiple displays simultaneously. The VXT CMS Canvas also offers a variety of templates optimized for E-paper displays, making it easier to produce content across different verticals.

For charging and data transmission, the Color E-Paper features two USB-C type ports and supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It also includes 8GB of flash memory, an interchangeable bezel that allows users to change colors of the frame[4] and VESA[5] standard wall mount compatibility[6] to provide users with enhanced connectivity, customization options and flexible mounting solutions.
