Kuala Lumpur, 3 August 2018 – Winning a new set of wheels is a dream for many, and 40 lucky contestants competed in Samsung’s Senangnya Raya Race to turn that dream into reality. With three luxurious Mercedes cars, five Honda HRVs and 20 Vespa motorcycles to take home, the contestants participated with overflowing enthusiasm and determination.

The Samsung’s Senangnya Raya Campaign was organised with the objective of creating touch points with the public who purchased selected Samsung Galaxy mobile devices, tablets or wearables from any participating Samsung authorised dealers from 24^th May 2018 to 24^th June 2018. A total of 230 lucky winners who won consolation prize have been selected through a draw, and announced in July 2018.

“Congratulations to all the contestants who participated in the campaign and we hope it has given you much excitement and memories! At Samsung, we are pleased to give away these Raya gifts worth RM2,000,000 to our very loyal customers. This campaign allows us to show our appreciation to customers for their continuous support, while also rewarding them. We are delighted to be part of this milestone in their lives,” said Mr Yoonsoo Kim, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics.

Needless to say, the 28 winners were thrilled to receive the keys to their brand-new ride. Not one finalist went home empty-handed, as the remaining 12 contestants received consolations prizes (Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro & Fast Charge Battery Pack) for displaying strong spirits during the race.

“I am really excited right now, what a great way for Samsung to engage with their customers. My husband bought a new Galaxy J4 for my father as a surprise gift, therefore qualifying me for the race. As a long-time Samsung supporter and currently a Galaxy S9+ user, I couldn’t be happier with my decision to be on the Samsung team.  Thank you Samsung for your continuous offerings of theses amazing rewards!” said Shanty A/P Mekkanathan, who took home the grand prize, a Mercedes GLC200 AMG.
