Seminar in Bangkok, Thailand on June 20, unveiling its latest advancements in home appliances for the
region. The seminar showcased how Samsung is bringing AI innovation to everyday living with smarter, more
connected experiences across its appliance and mobile portfolio.

“We are continuously exploring new ways to enhance user convenience by creating seamless synergy
across our products,” said Daren Tay, VP & Regional Head of Digital Appliances for Southeast Asia &

At the event, more than 40 journalists and influencers from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines,
Thailand and Vietnam personally experienced Samsung’s vision for 2025 and had an in-depth look at the
design and technology in the featured appliances. The seminar was hosted at the Business Experience
Studio, a space specially designed to offer business clients and visitors innovative and future-focused
experiences through Samsung’s wide range of products and solutions.

Home Living Made Simple: Samsung’s “AI Home” Vision in Action

At the foundation of the showcase is Samsung’s commitment to making home living easier and more
intuitive. This commitment is underscored by its “AI Home” vision, which focuses on the four key pillars of
Ease, Save, Care, and Secure.

One of the centerpieces of this experience is the upgraded AI Home display 1 — a smart screen now
available across more appliances, which enables users to seamlessly access functions, view personalized
information on their Daily Board, and manage their home using Map View. The screen also connects third-
party devices 2 via SmartThings, eliminating the need for a separate hub 3 .

To enhance hands-free control experiences, the Bixby 4 voice assistant now includes Voice ID, 5 allowing the

Innovative Refrigeration Solutions

At the seminar, Samsung also showcased its new global refrigerator lineup, which brings to life the “Screens
Everywhere” vision that was first unveiled at CES 2025. Notable features of the lineup include the debut of
the 9-inch AI Home display and improved AI Family Hub experiences.

Another highlight was the introduction of the new Side-by-Side model which was recently launched for the
Southeast Asian market. It features an integrated screen for enhanced usability, supports AI Energy Mode 9
through built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and includes Wide Auto Open Door, which allows users to open the door
with just a light touch.

Smarter Laundry, Greater Efficiency

Samsung continues to lead in laundry solutions with AI-enhanced functionality that delivers higher levels of
convenience and efficiency. In response to regional demands, Samsung is incorporating AI Wash 10 —
previously exclusive to front-load washers — to the new Bespoke AI Top Load Washer for the first time.
The top-load models also offer a range of other AI features, including AI Energy Mode and AI VRT+.
Additionally, the new Bespoke AI Washer and Dryer set offers the enhanced AI Wash+ and AI Dry+ 11
features for smarter performance. Notably, they can recognize a wider range of fabric types than before,
giving users a more personalized laundry experience 12 . The new Bespoke AI Laundry washer and dryer set
also comes equipped with AI Home Screen that offer intuitive control and monitoring of essential information
such as wash cycles and remaining detergent levels.

At the seminar, Samsung introduced the principles behind the AI features of its laundry lineup, particularly
focusing on how its devices leverage AI to detect laundry and adjust the washing or drying cycle accordingly.

Diverse air conditioner solutions for smart living

Attendees at the seminar also learned about the new ‘Good Sleep’ mode, which allows users to connect
their air conditioners with their Galaxy Watch series and Galaxy Ring, and enable automatic adjustment of
the air conditioner from the wearable’s detection of their sleep stage.

The newly launched system air conditioner (SAC) lineup was also on display during the seminar, giving
attendees the opportunity to discover more about Samsung’s intelligent climate solutions that offer seamless
smart experiences with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.

Powerful, Intelligent Vacuum Cleaners

Samsung is also introducing its most advanced vacuum products yet. The Bespoke AI Jet Ultra is the
world’s most powerful cordless stick vacuum, 13 boasting up to 400W 14 of suction power and AI Cleaning
Mode 2.0, 15 which can now detect corner 16 types and floor variations 17 – such as carpets, hard floors, mats – for smarter cleaning. The seminar included a demonstration of the HexaJet Motor, AI algorithm, and All-in-one clean station, demonstrating Samsung’s innovative advancements across both hardware and software offerings.

Of course, one of the best things about going to concerts is making new friends. ENGENEs from all around the Philippines gathered in New Clark City for a day, showing their love for the group with their  fellow fans in the venue. Yel, an ENGENE from Marikina City shared, “It was great interacting with other ENGENEs, especially since we all have a lot in common. It was a great opportunity to meet new ENGENE friends’.”

The fun began even before the concert as ENGENEs gathered to claim their ENHYPEN themed concert straps and hung out at the entertainment zone hours prior to the concert. It was actually the nicest booth out of all the booths present in the Entertainment Zone. I was curious about the Samsung Galaxy S24 and from that booth I learned the many capabilities of the phone and how it’s actually perfect for taking fancams!.”

ENHYPEN’s energetic and unique performances

ENHYPEN gave it their all in the concert, showing their love for ENGENEs as the group performed a galaxy of their greatest songs from “CRIMINAL LOVE”, “Sweet Venom”, “Bite Me”, and fan favorites “SHOUT OUT” and “Polaroid Love.”

When we asked what their favorite performances were, artist and ENGENE, Ran  shared: “‘Polaroid Love’ and ‘SHOUT OUT.’ Those songs really mean a lot to both ENHYPEN and ENGENEs. I even got emotional with those two songs.”

ENHYPEN also shared their love for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra featuring its upgraded camera during the performance of their popular song, “Polaroid Love’.” This experience was also one that fans deemed unforgettable as the boys got closer with their fans and went around the concert venue in moving carts.

Their energetic vlogs and live selca (self cam) were also featured on the concert wide screen for viewers to enjoy. “I thought ENHYPEN was taking a selfie with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with the audience! That was such a sweet moment between ENHYPEN and ENGENEs,” James said.

In its bid to help all kinds of businesses meet the demands and changing needs of their customers, Samsung Electronics Philippines (SEPCO) introduced the Samsung Kiosk to key enterprises and businesses in an event partnership with CTC Solutions Technology, Inc. (CSCSTI) in Hive Hotel, Quezon City.

CTCSTI is a solutions first company with nearly 28 years of experience in catering to retail stores and quick service restaurants in the Philippines. CTCSTI has also been a premium partner of SEPCO since 2018, carrying the global brand’s Display technology to the retail and QSR markets.

It is ready out-of-the-box and simple to install, operate, and maintain – helping businesses provide a modern and secure customer service. Here in the Philippines, fast food chain KFC currently uses Samsung Kiosk on Windows OS at 63 locations. With its new, cutting-edge design, Samsung’s new Galaxy S23 series (Galaxy 23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23) demonstrated that innovation brings both high-performance and sustainability for the ultimate premium experience.

The Galaxy S23 series raised the bar for both quality and aesthetics with less environmental impact than previous generations. To achieve this, Samsung incorporated recycled materials in more device components than in any other previous Galaxy smartphone and designed the packaging box using 100% recycled paper.

The presence of recycled materials in the Galaxy S23 series has also been increased, rising from six internal components made from eco-conscious materials in the Galaxy S22 Ultra to 12 internal and external components incorporating recycled materials in the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Samsung also used a wider variety of recycled materials, including pre-consumer recycled aluminum and glass, for use in Galaxy devices. By continuing to increase recycled materials in Galaxy devices, this helped the company reduce their impact on the environment. Specifically, the use of recycled ocean-bound plastics in the Galaxy S23 series could prevent more than 15 tons of discarded fishing nets from entering the world’s oceans by the end of 2023, helping to reduce ocean pollution.

The Galaxy S23 series is also built to last with durability and repairability, making it dependable for years to come. It’s the first device to feature Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2, which offers durability for long-term use and contains an average of 22 percent pre-consumer recycled content. The Galaxy S23 series also provides four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates, so users are protected for longer.

By now, everyone has heard of the hype around foldable phones. Although popular, a common misconception we’ve had over the past few years is that foldable phones aren’t the most durable smartphones in the market. 

This has been a challenge for most brands, and manufacturers have been working year after year to build improvements. Despite the mixed reviews, one brand has stood out and has championed the durability of their foldable phones.

Last year, Samsung released the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Z Fold3 5G, which took durability to the next level; introducing the groundbreaking first-ever water-resistant foldable phones in Galaxy with an IPX8 rating. Enhanced durability has also been prioritized in the overall build quality of the phones, as the last release of Samsung’s foldables are equipped with Armor Aluminum and Gorilla Glass Victus enhancing the durability of the phones.
