Bespoke AI Washer: Even the AI Cycle Has Been Upgraded

It can be challenging and inconvenient to manually pick suitable washing cycles and determine the right amount of detergent to use for each load of laundry; especially if you have a large household that requires you to do multiple rounds of washing throughout the week. The new front load Bespoke AI Washer has been designed to reduce that hassle.

Samsung has developed and applied AI-enhanced cycles to its Bespoke AI Laundry series, effectively simplifying the laundry process for users. Now, it is introducing the new AI Wash – which has been further upgraded with more learning data – to the new front load Bespoke AI Washer.

When the AI Wash cycle is selected, the washing machine will adjust the amount of detergent and bubbles needed, washing time, water temperature and spin speed by detecting the weight, turbidity, and the type of fabric.^[1]

Additionally, AI Wash continuously measures the level of turbidity during the washing process so that it can add more detergent or adjust the washing time when necessary, ensuring that the cleaning performance is optimal.

To make your life even easier, you can intuitively access AI Wash, AI Energy Mode and every other cycle option through AI Home,^[2] the 7-inch LCD screen on the front of the washing machine.

Bespoke AI Top Load Washer: Reimagining the Form Factor With AI

Top load washers are sometimes considered the classic form factor or more traditional option when compared to front load washers. Now, Samsung is challenging this notion by integrating AI features to upgrade laundry experiences for those who prefer top-load designs.

The Bespoke AI Top Load Washer is Samsung’s first AI-enhanced top load washing machine for the global market. It comes with three convenient AI features: AI Wash,^[3] AI Energy Mode,^[4] and AI VRT+ technology.^[5]

With its built-in sensor, the Bespoke AI Top Load Washer can adjust wash settings based on each load using AI Wash cycle, and also reduce energy usage^[6] if the user activates AI Energy Mode in SmartThings Energy via the SmartThings App.

That’s not all. Another unique feature that utilises AI is the AI VRT+technology. VRT stands for Vibration Reduction Technology, which reduces the excessive vibration of the washer frame to reduce noise.

The AI VRT+ detects the floor conditions^[7] at the beginning of the spin cycle, classifies it using an AI algorithm and, adjusts the spin speed to avoid the expected natural frequency for those conditions.

Bespoke AI Laundry Combo: Wash and Dry Intelligently in a Single Unit

The front load Bespoke AI Washer with AI Wash and the Bespoke AI Top Load Washer are both excellent options, but for consumers who want to complete both washing and drying in one go and leverage smart features, there’s the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo.

Launched in Southeast Asia & Oceania in October last year, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo combines a washer and dryer into one, eliminating the inconvenience of transferring laundry after washing. In the Korean market, where it was first introduced, it surpassed 100,000 cumulative sales within a year of launch and has been recognised for its convenience, receiving a total of 21 awards in regions around the globe.^[8]

The Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is the first Samsung product equipped with the AI Home Screen. The wide display delivers useful information like cycle details, remaining amount of detergent, and energy consumption. The combo also uses machine learning to remember user habits and can recommend cycles based on periodic and seasonal needs.^[9] When the cycle is finished, it provides an energy and water consumption report that can be viewed on the 7-inch LCD display or the SmartThings App via your smartphone.^[10]

There is also a unique advantage that can only be found on the combo: the AI Wash & Dry cycle.^[11] This starts with sensing the weight of the laundry, and dispenses the right amount of water and detergent. It also detects the fabric type and monitors the level of soiling during the cycle,^[12] adjusting wash time and detergent use accordingly.

The seminar was hosted at the Business Experience Studio, a space specially to offer business clients and visitors innovative and future-focused experiences through Samsung’s wide range of products and solutions in residential settings and different commercial environments.

Home Living Made Simple: Samsung’s “AI Home” Vision in Action

At the foundation of the showcase is Samsung’s commitment to making home living easier and more intuitive. This commitment is underscored by its “AI Home” vision, which focuses on the four key pillars of Ease, Save, Care, and Secure.

One of the centerpieces of this experience is the upgraded AI Home display^[1] — a smart screen now available across more appliances, which enables users to seamlessly access functions, view personalised information on their Daily Board, and manage their home using Map View. The screen also connects third-party devices^[2] via SmartThings, eliminating the need for a separate hub^[3].

To enhance hands-free control experiences, the Bixby^[4] voice assistant now includes Voice ID,^[5] allowing the system to recognise individual users registered in advance, sync personal calendars^[6] and even mirror Galaxy smartphone accessibility settings for better visibility. ^[7]

Innovative Refrigeration Solutions

At the seminar, Samsung also showcased its new global refrigerator lineup, which brings to life the “Screens Everywhere” vision that was first unveiled at CES 2025 such as the debut of the 9-inch AI Home display.

Another highlight was the introduction of the new Side-by-Side model which was recently launched for the Southeast Asian market. It features an integrated screen for enhanced usability, supports AI Energy Mode^[8] through built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and includes Auto Open Door, which allows users to open the door with just a light touch.

Smarter Laundry, Greater Efficiency

Samsung continues to lead in laundry solutions with AI-enhanced functionality that delivers higher levels of convenience and efficiency. In response to regional demands, Samsung is incorporating AI Wash^[9]— previously exclusive to front-load washers — to the Bespoke AI Top Load Washer for the first time. The top-load models also offer a range of other AI features, including AI Energy Mode and AI VRT+.

The Bespoke AI Washer and Dryer set offers the AI Wash and AI Dry^[10] features for smarter performance, while also equipped with AI Home Screen that offer intuitive control and monitoring of essential information such as wash cycles and remaining detergent levels to allow homeowners to get access to personalised laundry cycles and habits.

At the seminar, Samsung introduced the principles behind the AI features of its laundry lineup, particularly focusing on how its devices leverage AI to detect laundry and adjust the washing or drying cycle accordingly.

Diverse air conditioner solutions for smart living

The ‘Good Sleep’ mode was also introduced which allows users to connect their air conditioners with their Galaxy Watch series and Galaxy Ring to enable automatic temperature adjustment of the air conditioner to optimal levels from the wearable’s detection of their sleep stage. The newly launched air conditioner lineup was also on display during the seminar, giving attendees the opportunity to discover more about Samsung’s intelligent climate solutions that offer seamless smart experiences with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.

Powerful, Intelligent Vacuum Cleaners

Samsung is also introducing its most advanced vacuum products yet. The Bespoke AI Jet Ultra is Samsung’s most powerful cordless stick vacuum,^[11] boasting up to 400W^[12] of suction power and AI Cleaning Mode 2.0,^[13] which can now detect corner^[14] types and floor variations^[15] – such as carpets, hard floors, mats – for smarter cleaning. The seminar included a demonstration of the HexaJet Motor, AI algorithm, and All-in-One Clean Station, demonstrating Samsung’s innovative advancements across both hardware and software offerings.

Samsung’s AI Wash^[3] intelligently senses the fabric type and weight to automatically recommend the optimal settings for each wash. Continued Efforts to Deliver Reliable Experiences

Samsung Knox sits at the core of Samsung’s connected home appliances to ensure that homeowners are adequately protected against cyberattacks and their privacy are safeguarded.

The latest Samsung Bespoke AI appliances will have enhanced Knox security applied so that users will be able to enjoy their AI Home experience with peace of mind. As one of the major updates, Trust Chain, which is part of Knox Matrix, is applied to all Wi-Fi enabled appliances launching in 2025. Users can continuously monitor products’ security status in real time through the dashboard.^[5]

Knox Vault^[6] is also applied to home appliances, to store sensitive user information, such as passwords and authentication information, in a separate hardware chip to ensure maximum protection. Furthermore, to protect against the potential of future quantum attacks, Samsung’s security is also equipped with post-quantum cryptography (PQC), a part of Knox Matrix Credential Sync, for its screen-applied products.^[7]
