Samsung, the global market leader in TV for 20 years^[1] has announced the launch of the new 43-inch QLED Q5F TV, offering a comprehensive entertainment experience. Tailored for consumers in Singapore, it combines a blend of advanced image features such as HDR for contrast enhancement, OTS Lite surround sound and Full HD resolution. As a total entertainment solution, the Q5F model utilises a Real QLED display panel, underpinned by the use of a Quantum Dot sheet to ensure lifelike colours. Furthermore, the display is cadmium-free, reinforcing Samsung’s commitment to sustainable and responsible innovation.

With Real QLED technology, the Q5F model combines the convenience of an ‘All-in-One’ Smart TV, with advanced image-enhancing features such as HDR, Contrast Enhancer and PurColour to guarantee vibrant colours, precise details, and optimal performance across all content types.

The Q5F model also grants access to a whole world of entertainment with Samsung TV Plus^[2]. Enjoy free live TV channels across genres such as news, entertainment, sports and shows for children, in addition to thousands of movies^[3]. New content is constantly being added, and the best part: no payments or subscriptions and setup^[4] is required. Samsung TV Plus is enabled right out of the box.

Advanced Image and Sound

Image quality is driven by PurColour, which adds sophisticated tones and depth for a more cinematic feel. This is complemented by HDR, which increases the difference between the screen’s darkest and lightest areas for better colour vibrancy and contrast for greater content immersion.

The audio experience is equally immersive, featuring OTS Lite (Object Tracking Sound Lite), a virtual top channel audio technology. OTS Lite can track object movement across a screen, such as a car driving from left to right and tailor the output accordingly. The Q5F model can also intelligently adapt audio output in real time to account for room acoustics, or content type such as enhancing voices during conversations in movies.

Enhance the Q5F model with a Samsung soundbar, and with Q-Symphony technology^[5], the TV’s built-in speakers work in tandem with the soundbar to provide a new dimension of aural enjoyment.

Samsung prioritises user privacy through Samsung Knox Security^[6], which employs multiple layers of hardware and software protection to protect your sensitive data like passwords or PIN codes. Additionally, Knox security can prevent your TV becoming a potential vulnerability point, automatically blocking execution of suspected malicious apps and preventing access to phishing sites.

This gives users confidence to connect their TV and wider home ecosystem through the SmartThings app^[7], which turns a Samsung Galaxy smartphone into a TV remote, or allowing for remote monitoring and management of compatible home devices.

Finally, AI Energy Mode^[8] utilises built-in sensors to detect ambient lighting, automatically adjusting screen brightness to reduce power consumption without compromising picture quality.
