Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced that it will be displaying its comprehensive gaming ecosystem spanning PC, console, and mobile games at Gamescom 2026, which is one of the world’s largest gaming events taking place in Cologne, Germany from Aug. 26-30.

Across a 1,090-square-meter exhibition space, Samsung will present its full package of gaming devices under its theme of “#PlaySamsung,” which includes gaming monitors, mobile devices, SSDs, and headsets. The experience will offer visitors hands-on experiences with popular game titles across a variety of genres and play environments.

“In this day and age, gaming goes far beyond the games themselves to encompass high-quality, personalised gaming experiences,” said Stephanie Choi, Executive Vice President and Head of the Global Brand Centre at Samsung Electronics. “Through our integrated ecosystem we’re presenting at Gamescom 2026, Samsung is providing users with a way to take their gaming to the next level.”

Samsung will also unveil its 2027 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup and new portable SSD products at Gamescom, demonstrating how its broad portfolio of devices and technologies delivers more immersive and connected gaming experiences.

Getting a new phone should be exciting, but moving data from an existing device can sometimes feel like a hassle. For users switching from iOS to Galaxy, being able to bring existing data and settings across easily is an important part of the experience.

Smart Switch is Samsung’s data transfer app1 that allows users to move contacts, photos, videos, messages, apps, settings and more from an Android or iOS device to a new Galaxy device.

With One UI 9 on the new eighth-generation Galaxy Z series, Smart Switch makes switching devices easier and more seamless than before. Quick Share has also been enhanced, making it easier to share files with friends, family and colleagues using different platforms.

Start Switching With Just a QR Code

With One UI 9, users no longer need to install the Smart Switch app separately on their iOS device. By simply scanning the QR code displayed on their new Galaxy, they can start transferring data through Smart Switch.

The updated Smart Switch also makes it easier to connect wirelessly. The two devices can connect without users needing to find the right cable or adapter before getting their new phone set up.

Bring More of Your Phone With You

With One UI 9, Smart Switch has expanded the types of data that can move from iOS devices to Galaxy. In addition to previously supported data such as photos, messages, contacts, calendars and apps, users can also transfer passwords and passkeys, call history, accessibility settings and eSIM information.

These may be less visible than a photo library, but they can make a big difference to how quickly a new device feels ready to use. A saved password means one less account to set up again. Bringing over accessibility settings can reduce the need to recreate a personalised experience. eSIM information can also be transferred, making it easier to continue using an existing mobile setup.

Make Galaxy Feel More Familiar

Whether switching to Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8 or Z Flip8, users can make their new device feel familiar from the start. Beyond transferring data, they can adjust key settings such as Swipe gestures and Home screen layout to suit the way they use their phone.

With the UI customisation app Good Lock, users can also personalise the Home screen, app switching and more, giving them greater freedom to use Galaxy in the way that works best for them.

For those switching from iOS to Galaxy, these options can help recreate familiar ways of navigating and organising their previous smartphone, reducing the adjustment that can come with moving to a new environment. This helps users settle into their new Galaxy more comfortably and naturally from the start.

Keep Sharing After the Switch

Changing smartphones does not mean everyone around a user changes theirs too.

Friends, family and colleagues may continue using different devices, which makes cross-platform sharing an important part of the experience long after setup is finished.

Devices running One UI 9 and One UI 8.5 can benefit from an enhanced cross-device sharing experience with Quick Share. With AirDrop compatibility, Quick Share makes it easier to share files between Galaxy and iOS devices2.

Choosing a new smartphone should come down to the experience people want next. By simplifying how the switch begins, expanding what can move across and making it easier to keep sharing afterward, Samsung is reducing more of the practical barriers between smartphone ecosystems.

The result is a simpler way to move to Galaxy, while bringing more of what already matters along for the journey.

Switching to Galaxy is now easier than ever, thanks to a more seamless migration experience across a wider range of devices. With the updated Smart Switch, iOS users can scan a QR code on their current devices and wirelessly transfer data without downloading additional apps. Smart Switch can also bring over additional types of data including password and passkeys, call history, accessibility settings, eSIM data and more, helping reduce the time needed to set up a new device. And with Quick Share’s new compatibility with AirDrop24, sharing files between iOS and Galaxy devices is now seamless in both directions ︎

Quick Share feature between Galaxy devices available with the following OS: smartphones and tablets with Android OS version 10.0 (Q) and One UI 2.1 or above, Galaxy Books released in 2020 or later.
The strongest interiors are not only filled with beautiful objects. They are carefully composed to incorporate furniture, lighting, materials and technology as part of one cohesive design aesthetic.

Those focused on a curated home look are increasingly seeking statement pieces that offer longevity without limiting how a room can evolve.1 2 This is changing the role of technology in the living room. A television is no longer expected to sit apart from the interior. It should complement the furniture, reflect the homeowner’s style and feel considered even when it is not being watched.

Samsung’s The Frame was created with this idea in mind. Its slim, picture-frame-inspired profile helps it sit naturally alongside furniture and décor, while customisable bezels can be selected to complement different materials, finishes and colour palettes. For an even cleaner aesthetic, The Frame Pro offers fully wireless transmission through the Wireless One Connect Box, allowing connected devices to be placed up to 10 metres away3 and keeping your space clutter free. When the television is not in use, Art Mode replaces the traditional black screen with a chosen artwork or personal photograph, allowing the display to remain part of the room. Through the Samsung Art Store, you can also access more than 5,0004 iconic works from legendary artists alongside collections from world renowned museums and galleries, bringing an ever-expanding art collection into the home.

That flexibility also makes The Frame a natural fit throughout the home, from a living room statement piece paired with bold landscapes, to a kitchen display that feels fresh and uplifting, a study softened by calming artwork or a child’s room made more personal with family photos. In every space, the right image helps set the mood while The Frame keeps the look polished and considered.

From relaxed country homes to expressive and bold spaces, here are four ways The Frame can complement different interior styles.

The Country House Traditionalist

A country-inspired interior is built around comfort, character and timeless appeal. Natural wood, upholstered furniture, layered textures and classic details create rooms that feel warm and welcoming.

The Frame fits naturally into this setting thanks to its slim, frame-inspired design and customisable bezels, which allow it to complement surrounding furniture rather than compete with it. When not in use, Art Mode gives the screen the feel of a framed piece, helping it blend into the room with ease.

Floral and garden scenes are especially well suited to timeless interiors, bringing softness, colour and a sense of nature into traditional spaces. Works such as Water Lilies, Sunflowers and The Artist’s Garden at Giverny can add an elegant finishing touch while complementing the room’s warm and layered aesthetic.

The Natural Living Explorer

Natural living is all about calm, with oak, linen, stone and organic textures creating interiors inspired by the outdoors.

Designed to blend into these spaces, The Frame lets the room’s materials and furnishings stay in focus while adding a subtle design layer of its own. Its pared-back profile works especially well alongside tactile furniture and relaxed, neutral finishes.

Landscapes and nature-inspired artworks are a natural fit for this style, with forests, mountains and open countryside helping to bring a sense of calm and escape into the home.

The Considered Minimalist

Minimalist interiors focus on balance rather than emptiness, with clean lines, thoughtful furniture and carefully chosen design pieces.

The Frame complements this approach by replacing the visual interruption of a black screen with artwork when the TV is not in use, helping maintain a calm and cohesive living space. It sits comfortably within a room where every object has a purpose.

Coastal and water-inspired pieces are a natural fit for minimalist homes, with serene seascapes and iconic works such as The Great Wave off Kanagawa bringing a sense of openness and tranquillity to the space.

The Contemporary Collector

For the contemporary collector, a home is built over time. Vintage finds, modern furniture and meaningful objects come together to create interiors full of personality.

Rather than feeling like a piece of technology, The Frame becomes another design object within the room, whether displayed as part of a gallery wall or above a statement sideboard. With interchangeable bezels and a changing art display, it evolves alongside the rest of the space.

This expressive style can also be reflected through cultural icons and celebrated masterpieces, from The Starry NighttoThe Kiss. These works allow homeowners to curate a display that reflects their own taste and personality.

A Television Designed to Belong

Great interior design is rarely about making every object match. It is about creating a sense of connection between them.

The Frame brings this thinking to one of the living room’s largest visual surfaces. Its slim, frame-inspired form, customisable bezels and Art Mode allow it to complement furniture and décor rather than asking the rest of the room to adapt around a television.

Whether placed within a warm country interior, a natural sanctuary, a quiet minimalist space or an eclectic collection, The Frame is designed to feel at home. Art provides the final layer but it is the relationship between the television, the furniture and the wider interior that allows the room to feel curated. Completing the experience, Samsung’s Glare Free technology5 minimises reflections, allowing both artwork and entertainment to be enjoyed with exceptional clarity in a wide range of lighting conditions. To find out more, visit www.samsung.com/uk and explore the Samsung Art Store for artworks and ideas that suit your space.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced that Galaxy Buds4 Pro has received the EISA In-Ear Headphones 2026-2027 Award by the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA). This marks the first time a Galaxy Buds product has earned this recognition from EISA, underscoring Samsung’s continued commitment to audio innovation, superior sound quality, intelligent adaptive listening technologies, and user-focused design.

The award is particularly significant because it validates the core engineering philosophy behind Galaxy Buds4 Pro: delivering sound as it was meant to be heard. The EISA Awards represent one of the most authoritative annual recognitions of audio quality in the global consumer electronics industry. Judged by a collective of expert editors from top technology publications across more than 25 countries, these accolades provide an independent assessment of audio performance and innovation. The recognition reinforces Samsung’s ongoing efforts to push the boundaries of premium wireless audio through advanced hardware, intelligent software, and user-centric design.

EISA’s praise further highlights the Galaxy Buds4 Pro’s balance of audio performance, call quality and everyday usability.

“Employing a two-way speaker with individual amplifiers dedicated to the woofer and tweeter [Samsung’s Galaxy Buds4 Pro] yields clean, musical detail,” commented Ljubisa Miodragovic, President at EISA. “Meanwhile, advanced Sensor Fusion technology combines a dedicated Voice Pickup Unit (VPU) with DNN-powered noise reduction to ensure exceptionally clear calls.”

“At Samsung, our goal has always been to deliver Hi-Fi sound that stays true to the original recording. Receiving the EISA In-Ear Headphones Award validates our commitment to audio engineering excellence and affirms our promise of delivering premium sound quality and user experiences,” said Han-gil Moon, Master and Head of Audio Group, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics. “Users can be confident that Galaxy Buds4 Pro are built to provide the best and most satisfying sound experience. We will continue to build on this foundation to offer even richer listening experiences in the future.”

Galaxy Buds4 Pro delivers Samsung’s most advanced audio experience to date, with standout features including:

A newly designed wider woofer that increases the effective speaker area by nearly 20% over the previous generation, paired with a dedicated tweeter to deliver clean bass, rich treble, and 24-bit/96 kHz UHQ audio true to the original recording. EISA experts praised Buds4 Pro for yielding “clean musical detail while limiting distortion across the frequency range.”

Enhanced Adaptive ANC and EQ that analyzes wearing conditions and each user’s unique ear shape, applying optimal noise-cancelling algorithms in real time, so users can enjoy a consistent listening experience all day long.

Super Clear Call enabled by the device’s advanced Sensor Fusion technology, which combines a Voice Pickup Unit (VPU) with Deep Neural Network (DNN)-powered noise reduction to “ensure exceptionally clear calls,” even in noisy environments.

An ultra-sleek, ergonomic blade design refined through hundreds of millions of global ear data points and over 10,000 simulations, featuring a premium metal finish, engraved pinch controls, and an IP57 rating for water and dust resistance.[1]

Deeper Galaxy ecosystem integration that allows users to initiate AI agents and manage hands-free calls through intuitive Head Gesture controls.

Managing health can be complicated. But what if it didn’t have to be?

At Galaxy Unpacked July 2026 in London on July 22, Dr. Hon Pak, Senior Vice President and Head of the Digital Health Team, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics, sat down with cognitive neuroscientist and science communicator Dr. Dong-seon Chang to explore how AI could make health management simpler and more connected.

Dr. Pak explained how the body changes from day to day and how AI can learn an individual’s daily rhythms and patterns to help transform fragmented health data into more meaningful, personalised guidance. He also introduced Samsung Health’s Connected Care vision, extending beyond devices and data to connect people — from healthcare professionals and families to partners across the broader health ecosystem.

Ultimately, the conversation pointed to a broader question of how society can embrace AI while keeping people at the centre.

Watch the video below to learn more about Samsung’s vision for healthcare that is simpler, more connected, and human-centred.

“Samsung Wallet is built to help users manage the digital essentials they rely on throughout their day in a single secure experience,” said Woncheol Chai, EVP and Head of the Digital Wallet Team at the Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics. “By expanding Digital Key support to select Volkswagen vehicles, we’re giving more Galaxy users easy access to connected experiences that make everyday mobility simpler and more convenient.”

“The Digital Key is an important step toward a seamless and connected vehicle experience for our customers,” said Dr. Axel Heinrich, Senior Vice President System Architecture, Concepts & Innovation, Volkswagen Passenger Cars. “Our collaboration with Samsung has been highly constructive and built on a shared commitment to innovation, security, and ease of use. We are pleased to bring this solution to Volkswagen customers and look forward to building on this strong foundation to deliver even more convenient digital experiences in the future.”

Samsung Wallet gives Galaxy users an intuitive way to access compatible Volkswagen vehicles using their smartphone, without the need for a physical key or even taking their phone out of their pockets. Digital Keys support multiple access methods, including ultra-wideband (UWB)[3] technology for hands-free entry and Near Field Communication (NFC)[4] technology for tap-based unlocking and starting the engine.

Digital Key extends beyond vehicle access, allowing the trunk to be opened through Remote Key Entry. Users can also provide Digital Key access to trusted individuals through Samsung Wallet, set permissions when sharing a key and withdraw access at any time with simple controls. This allows owners to accommodate multiple drivers or provide short-term access when needed.

Samsung combines multiple layers of security to help safeguard sensitive personal information saved within Samsung Wallet. Stored directly on the device and backed by Samsung’s industry-leading security platform, Samsung Knox,[5] Digital Keys meet rigorous EAL6+[6] certification standards for advanced protection against unauthorised access.

UWB technologies, based on standards established by the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC), support reliable vehicle access while helping reduce the risk of unintended entry attempts. If a smartphone containing a Digital Key is lost or stolen, Samsung Find allows users to remotely manage or remove their Digital Key, while biometric or PIN verification helps keep every interaction secure and private.

Samsung Wallet helps Galaxy users keep important digital credentials — including payment cards, identification cards, boarding passes, and digital keys — within easy reach. Built to work seamlessly across the Galaxy ecosystem, Samsung Wallet combines everyday convenience with trusted security in a single experience.

Samsung users may have noticed something new on their Galaxy Z foldables — the Warranty and care menu.

Managing warranties and coverage for a Galaxy mobile phone, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds, and Galaxy Tab can be a hassle. That’s where Warranty and care comes in. Introduced with One UI 9, it brings essential device management features together in one place, letting users check warranty status, run diagnostics, book repairs, and get support in just a few taps — all without leaving Settings.

Here’s a closer look at what Warranty and care, available with One UI 9 on Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8 offers.

Check Warranty Status Across Galaxy Devices

Keeping track of warranty periods and expiration dates across Galaxy devices isn’t always easy. Warranty and care consolidates this information in a single hub.

▲ Access Warranty and care instantly from Settings.

Available in Settings, Warranty and care displays information about the device in use at the top of the screen — including remaining warranty period and eligibility for Samsung Care+ enrollment.[1] Below, users can find the same details for other Galaxy devices linked to their Samsung account, making it easy to check warranty and coverage status across their Galaxy ecosystem.

For added protection beyond the standard warranty, users can easily explore and enroll in a Samsung Care+ plan that matches their needs.

Resolve Device Issues With Diagnostics and Bixby

When something doesn’t feel quite right, quickly finding out what’s wrong can make all the difference. The built-in Diagnostics feature checks the device — including its battery, charging, sensors, touch response, and connectivity — to help pinpoint the issue and guide users to the next step, whether that’s a suggested solution or a repair request.

▲ Bixby offers customized responses to your inquiries.

Users can also access Bixby[2] from Warranty and care to ask about an issue and get help on the spot. For example, if a user asks, “My battery is draining too fast. What should I do?” Bixby can walk them through possible solutions step by step. It’s a convenient way to get answers to everyday questions without switching screens.

Book Repairs and Check Estimated Costs in One Place

When professional help is needed, users can tap “Request a repair” to book a repair at a Samsung-authorised service center without having to make phone calls. All repairs are carried out by Samsung-certified technicians using genuine parts. If users are unable to visit a service center, they can start remote support from the same screen and get help directly on their device.

Warranty and care also makes device care service information easy to check. After selecting an issue, users can view estimated repair costs[3] for major parts alongside the cost of the same repair with Samsung Care+. This helps users see cost information in one place and helps them understand the available service and protection options at the moment they need them.

▲ Repair estimates on main parts can also be verified.

Protect Device Value for the Long Term

By bringing warranty information, diagnostics, support and repair services together, Warranty and care gives Galaxy users a simpler way to manage their devices for greater peace of mind. Checking the feature during setup makes it easier to know where to turn if an issue comes up later — from running diagnostics and asking Bixby or a chatbot for help to requesting a repair. With these essential services close at hand, users can keep their devices in good condition for longer and help preserve their value.

For peace of mind today and lasting value tomorrow, Galaxy devices are supported by professional care at nearby Samsung-authorised service centers, both at home and abroad.
