The Which? Awards recognise and celebrate brands that are championing consumers by consistently producing the best products and providing the best services. This year, judges looked closely at how manufacturers are going above and beyond for consumers considering the cost-of-living crisis, with value for money identified as a key focus area for judges.

For the Computing Brand of the Year Award, the judging panel commended Samsung for its value for money compared to other manufacturers.

Which? Chief Executive, Anabel Hoult, said: “The Which? Awards judging standards are incredibly high, so to be named as a winner is a huge achievement – something only given to the best of the best. Common themes among Samsung’s computers are great battery life, vibrant screens and speedy performance. Samsung also had an excellent year, with 12 of their 14 laptops earning Best Buy status, which is why they’ve been announced as the first winner of the Which? Computing Brand of the Year Award.”

James Kitto, VP Head of MX Division, Samsung UK and Ireland, commented, “ We’re delighted to have won the prestigious title of Computing Brand of the Year at this year’s Which? Awards. Our computing portfolio has gone from strength to strength over the last three years, where we most recently added the Galaxy Book3 Series to our revolutionary line-up of premium PCs. This award is recognition for our fresh approach to computing that we bring with the Galaxy Book range, building upon our heritage in mobile connectivity, exceptional screen quality and long lasting battery life. We’re proud to have been recognised by the team at Which? and we look forward to continuing to deliver seamless and intuitive experiences for customers across our range of Galaxy computing devices”.
