LONDON, England – 15th September 2021 – With 1 in 5 Gen Z’s** (18-24 year olds) expanding their cooking and baking skills over the past 18 months, the record number of young students leaving the family home and heading to University this year are now looking for ways to create top trending dishes that won’t break the bank. To inspire this generation of aspiring foodies, Samsung KX has partnered with Mob Kitchen’s food producer, Seema Pankhania, to upskill the nation on how to create, capture and share delicious recipes – all for just £1 per person!

Having amassed over half a million TikTok followers with her savvy recipe creations, content creator and foodie extraordinaire Seema takes over the Samsung KX experience space in Coal Drops Yard to show both new and returning students that they can still create and enjoy delicious and nutritious dishes for both themselves and their flatmates, no matter the budget. Using every day essential ingredients for a cheap and cheerful price tag of just £4.88, Seema’s recipe provides almost a £40 saving compared to using higher end alternative produce, at a whopping £44.55.

Available to watch on the Samsung KX content hub now, Seema gives a step-by-step tutorial of how to recreate her succulent vegan Miso Mushroom Risotto recipe for 5 people, whilst also giving her expert tips and tricks for how best to capture and edit food content for maximum effect on TikTok.

Seema uses the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G to film the entire tutorial, capturing every detail with its Quad Rear Camera and showcasing its toolbox of AI-powered features for both shooting and editing TikTok videos, to help elevate every single frame.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G pushes the boundaries of what a smartphone can do. It boasts Samsung’s most advanced and powerful pro-grade camera system, enabling users to capture stunning studio-quality content on its brightest, largest and most intelligent display. Its Quad Rear Camera enables users to level up their photography game even further, allowing them to move seamlessly between Ultra-Wide, Wide and Dual Tele-Lenses. Plus, with a 12-bit RAW file option, never miss a single detail when editing content.

Seema Pankhania, content creator and Food Producer at MOB Kitchen, comments:

“It’s been so much fun working with Samsung KX and showing how simple it is to batch-cook delicious recipes that are super cheap! As young students head to University this month, I really want to show them that eating on a budget doesn’t have to mean dull meals. This tutorial is great for those aspiring foodies who are looking for culinary inspiration, with hints and tips for how to effectively capture and share your own masterpieces online. Thanks to the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra’s incredible pro-grade camera, I was able to capture and elevate each step of the recipe for stunning quality.”

Seema’s top TikTok tips for capturing and sharing recipes:

Natural light – Natural light is key when capturing pictures and videos of your recipes, and having objects positioned around the photo that match the final dish such as cutlery, napkins or a tablecloth, will make your overall content pop

Get equipped – A tripod is crucial for creating engaging recipe content, as viewers can have a bird’s eye view of what you’re doing throughout. I personally like to have it really close and super zoomed, so you can see every little detail

Remove smoke and steam – Often smoke and steam can cloud the camera, so make sure you turn on the extractor fan, open a window or add a fan near your work surface so it can be blown away.

Angle awareness – Don’t forget to move your camera into different positions and angles as you work through your recipe, to ensure every step is fully in shot. When initially setting up your tripod, you want the angle of your camera to be facing directly towards the sun, so that it shines through onto your board to get the best light possible. When frying off ingredients in the pan, moving the camera above will allow you to see everything in full.

Preparation is key – When making TikTok videos, make the movements clean and slick by putting all ingredients into separate bowls before filming. So when each ingredient goes into the pan, it makes it smoother rather than stopping to gran the chopping board multiple times.

Give yourself options – Take multiple shots when you’re frying off ingredients in the pan, as when it comes round to editing you can pick which one you like the best.

Slow it down – When it comes to plating up your finished meal, stir and spoon it out of the pan slowly, as it will help to make it look super glossy.

Ashrita Seshadri, Head of Marketing for Samsung KX said:

“It’s such an exciting time for students who are heading off to university this month, however flying the nest can prove costly. It’s been great to partner with Seema to show how Samsung innovation can inspire and encourage students to create affordable and delicious dishes that makes for engaging content, while having fun in the kitchen.”

London, UK – 15th June 2021 – With the sunshine finally here in the UK after one of the wettest months of May on record, Samsung Electronics UK has partnered with leading portrait and landscape photographer, Mike Will, to reveal tips to capture the ultimate British summertime photography with your Samsung Galaxy device.

From making the best of natural light, to using dusk to your advantage, Mike Will has used the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G to shoot a selection of locations around the London cityscape at different times of the day, bringing to life his top tips for expert outdoors photography.

Photography tips from Mike Will using the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G

Scorching hot – This could be the trickiest time to capture an image. Shooting in the middle of the day will mean you have much harsher lighting; you can see this by where the shadows are. Something to look out for is to make sure your subject isn’t over exposed. Thankfully the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is equipped with a Triple Rear Camera (Ultra-Wide and Dual Tele-lenses) that features a 108MP pro sensor so you can capture 12 bit HDR photos, for 64 times richer colour[1]– ensuring that you capture as much detail as possible even when the lighting isn’t always playing ball.

Dusk – If you are in a city, my favourite time to shoot is just as the sun is setting. The city lights will be on and you can still get some awesome colours from the sky! What’s more, with the Galaxy S21 Series’ Ultra-Wide lens, you’ll be amazed at how many objects and buildings you’ll be able to fit into frame.

Shutter speed for sunset – Just as the sun is setting, try shooting a handheld long exposure with the shutter speed around 1/6 in Pro Mode that’s available across the Galaxy S21 5G range, including the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+. The light during this time is perfect to achieve an amazing effect with this trick.

Shadows – This is the perfect time for capturing some interesting shots. As the sun gets lower, shadows get longer! This is a great time to shoot people and architecture. If you can look down on a viewpoint, you will get a nice effect. Even more impressive is that when using the Zoom on the S21 Ultra 5G, you don’t have to worry about sacrificing clarity. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G features 100x Space Zoom which is powered by Samsung’s first-ever Dual-Tele lens system – one optical 3x and one optical 10x- so you can capture crystal-clear shots no matter how far you are from the action.

Golden hour – Possibly the most popular hour for capturing stunning shots. If you are shooting towards the sun for a sunset image, a key tip is to make sure you don’t ever expose your image. When shooting in Pro Mode, you can adjust your shutter speed, so this doesn’t happen.

Get Bokeh – To create a bokeh effect, when you are in Pro Mode on the Galaxy S21 Series, correctly expose your camera, and then click manual focus and pull the focus all the way to the left so it goes out of focus but creates a cool shot. This will give you a unique shot to stand out from the crowd.

Lowlight and night – The AI low light setting in the Samsung Galaxy S21 series can vividly light up any low light conditions. The advanced Night Mode is also brilliant for improving details and reducing noise. My tip is to capture on a mini-tripod or hold the phone very still if your shutter speed is 0.3 seconds or longer.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is designed with a unique contour-cut camera to create the best-in-class smartphone photography — letting you capture cinematic 8K video and epic stills, all in one go. And with Samsung’s fastest chipset, strongest material, 5G support and an all-day battery, the Ultra easily lives up to its name.

All of Mike Will’s images snapped on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G can be found on his Instagram: @m.visuals

Roman Kemp said: “Working with Samsung’s new Relaxation Station, I’ve had the chance to try out some new techniques from around the world. From goat yoga to a deep meaningful chat with a house plant, I’ve discovered weird and wacky ways recommended for relaxing, or at least to make you have a laugh whilst trying to do so!”

In one episode, Roman is forced to ditch social media as he tries a popular form of digital detox from Asia, where people book themselves in for a spell in prison. ‘Inmates’ hand in their phones and spend time in isolation.

The new series was created following new research that reveals Brits are suffering from lockdown-fatigue, longer working hours and a lack of vitamin D.

One in seven (69%) Brits report feeling ‘burnt out’, 70% noted feelings of exhaustion and 86% said they are suffering from lockdown lethargy.

The study of 2,000 Brits aged 18-65, specially commissioned by Samsung KX, reveals that since lockdown began one in seven Brits (70%) reported to have higher stress levels, 79% stated an increase in anxiety and 82% noted feeling groggier and more tired than usual.

Of those polled, 77% said feeling cooped up with ‘cabin fever’ led to energy levels being sapped.

Nearly half (48%) of those surveyed said they worked from home during lockdown, with 47% reporting working longer hours than they would in the office, averaging 3.4 hours of overtime a day, equating to 17 hours overall a week.

With travel bans in place and limited travel to foreign destinations, over three-quarters of respondents (77%) stated they are suffering from a lack of holiday sun and 77% reported to feeling like they haven’t had any form of holiday break since lockdown started.

In the new series Roman Kemp visits Samsung KX’s new ‘Relaxation Station’- an immersive virtual sun, sea and sand experience designed to recharge burnt out Brits.

The new walk-in experience is calibrated to provide a 5-minute hit of relaxation for the body and mind by transporting visitors to a tropical beach.

Guests are bathed in virtual sun-light, whilst the smell of sea salt spray is pumped continuously into the space. Surround sound of waves lapping at the shore is accompanied by visuals of clear blue waters and sandy beaches.

The relaxation experience also simulates the heat of holiday sun through heating technology, and fans produce the feeling of a sea breeze.

Results of the research also reveal over half (53%) Brits have to regularly skip lunch break and 53% said they found it difficult to ‘switch off from work’, with over half (56%) admitting they found it challenging to separate work-life from home-life.

Endless work virtual meetings accounted for 50% of respondents increased stress levels.

Research also reveals the events of recent months have had a negative effect on our sleeping habits; 77% of respondents reported disturbed sleep with the average person only sleeping for 5.7 hours a night, well under the recommended 8 hours.

Tanya Weller, Director of Samsung Showcase, KX said: “The past year has been stressful for us all, with large numbers suffering post lockdown burn out.

To help our guests recover we wanted to offer them a unique opportunity to grab five minutes for themselves and relax. The new Relaxation Station in Samsung KX, powered by the new Galaxy S21, is the perfect way to unwind.”

Research reveals over half of us (51%) list going on holiday as the thing we’re most excited to do after lockdown restrictions lift.

One in eight said they are yearning for their next summer holiday and over half (51%) list going on holiday as the thing we’re most excited to do after lockdown restrictions lift.

A change of scenery (53%), feeling totally relaxed (50%) and the feeling of sun on your skin (46%) were the top things Brits missed about not being able to travel during lockdown. A warm breeze (39%), the smell of the sea (36%) and lounging on a beach (32%) also featured on the list.

‘Relaxing with Roman’ has been shot in 8K on the new Samsung S21 Ultra 5G. The device features a bold new design and super high-resolution Pro-Grade camera, as well as multiple video innovations designed to help users capture the perfect shot.

DUBLIN, IRELAND –March 23, 2021 – Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., today announced a new partnership with Manna Drone Delivery, a move that will see drone delivery made available to Irish customers when purchasing the latest range of Galaxy devices (including the S21 Ultra, the Galaxy Buds Pro, the Galaxy Tab S7, the Galaxy Watch 3, and Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy A Series) via Samsung.com/ie.

The new service, which is a first for Samsung globally, will facilitate an end-to-end contactless experience for Samsung customers from their initial online order through the company’s Irish eStore, right through to fulfilment. The service will first be made available to customers based in Oranmore with Samsung and Manna keen to expand this service nationwide in the future.

Manna uses custom-developed aerospace grade drones to deliver products directly to customer’s homes. Their drones fly at an altitude of 50-80 metres and a speed of over 60kph – enabling delivery to homes in Oranmore within 3 minutes.

Commenting on the news, Eamonn Grant, Head of Online for Samsung Ireland said, “At Samsung we are always looking for ways to bring meaningful innovation to our customers so we’re really excited to be the first technology company in Ireland to make our products available to our customers via drone delivery. To be able to deliver our products to our customers within three minutes of leaving the dispatch centre is a brilliant example of innovation in motion. Superior customer experience is at the heart of what we do and with this new service we are embracing what we believe will be the future of retail. In the current environment, there is no better time to provide a contactless alternative to ‘click and collect’ and we are really thrilled to be partnering Manna to achieve this.”

Commenting on the news, Alan Hicks, CTO of Manna said, “This partnership with Samsung marks the first of its kind in the world. Samsung is one of the most innovative and widely recognised brands globally that always puts its customers front and centre. It’s for this reason we are genuinely excited to be embarking on this next chapter with them.”

The drone delivery option will be available to Oranmore-based customers who purchase a Galaxy device via Samsung.com/ie from today.

New research from Samsung KX shows the average Brit takes 5.8 years to perfect their CV, sending over 34 different versions in their lifetime

UK employers take no longer than 28.7 seconds to assess a CV

One in five employers are looking at a candidate’s social media when reviewing an application

Two thirds of workers have no idea what a ‘perfect’ CV should contain

Musician, songwriter, TV presenter and footballer Chelcee Grimes, celebrity fashion photographer Ashley Verse and career guru Ash Jones will explore how to enhance your personal online brand, and how to give you the best chance of standing out for career success in a new three-part series ‘Powerful Personal Branding’, now available to view via Samsung KX’s website

LONDON, England – Monday 22nd March 2021: As the job market becomes increasingly competitive, every candidate needs a competitive advantage. Samsung KX announces today a new three-part content series that focuses on how to elevate your own brand, using the power of personal portraits and psychological tips to stand out, all via the new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G smartphone.

New research commissioned by Samsung KX found that UK employers need just 28.7 seconds to decide if someone’s CV is worth reading, therefore first impressions are more important than ever as many start to apply for new job roles. On average, a quarter of UK adults have felt embarrassed after realising they made a mistake in their CV, with common errors including applicants getting their own phone number incorrect or having an ‘inappropriate’ email address they set up when they were younger.

And there is more to getting an interview than a good CV. Over one in 10 UK adults have been judged on content from their social media profiles when applying for a new role. The study found that one in five UK adults believe that it’s acceptable to share a selfie of them with their pet to a potential employer, and two thirds of Brits have no idea what a ‘perfect’ CV should contain – despite one in 10 believing they have sent out more than 100 whilst job seeking.

40% of Brits think personal photos on a CV rank highly on the list of their priorities, as the ‘new normal’ dictates that the interview process is a remote one.

Musician, songwriter, TV presenter and footballer Chelcee Grimes will host Samsung KX’s three-part series, ‘Powerful Personal Branding’, which will give consumers the tools and know-how to enhance their personal online brand. From remotely shooting the perfect portrait images using the new Samsung Galaxy S21 5G Ultra, to advice on how to create that stand-out personal profile, Samsung KX wants to help propel your search for a new job to the next level.

Tanya Weller, Director of Samsung Showcase, KX explained: “We know how important personal branding is for when you present yourself to a potential employer. At Samsung KX, we want to provide people with the skills to develop their professional image to ensure they have the best chances of being successful. With our three-part series ‘Powerful Personal Branding’, we hope to inspire people with the use of the Galaxy S21 Series to get their perfect shot and build up their personal brand for career success. “

Career Specialist, Ash Jones offering advice for those in the job market said: “Employers will tend to look at a lot of CVs in one go so make sure how you present yourself makes the right kind of impact. Use it to express your personality and show what makes you unique and what you can bring to the business. A picture on a CV is very important – it helps to add personality, familiarity and understanding.”

To book a 1-2-1 remote portrait shoot with Ashley Verse or to watch the full series, head to the Samsung KX website now and be inspired to build your personal brand for 2021 and beyond.

Hannah’s top ten Spring/Summer 2021 beauty trends:

No makeup makeup

Tip: Add balm to the lips to moisturise and plump, brush brows up, and then curl the lashes to open the eyes. To catch the light, spot highlight with oil onto the top of your cheeks, bridge of nose and brow bone

Dewy Bases

Tip: Even out the skin tone with a hydrating tinted moisturiser to keep your complexion glowing throughout the day. Once done, add a touch of powder to the t-zone. Use a liquid blush on the cheeks for a longed-for dewy radiance

Laminated Brows

Tip: Once the Spoolie wand is dipped into the desired brow gel, brush the brows up towards the forehead and let the gel set for 30 seconds before pressing the brows down onto the skin. Take it a step further by drawing fine brow-like hairs on the brow for a natural look

Eye Gloss

Tip: Swipe a slick of gloss across the eye lid using a slim concealer brush. It’s most effective if you place it high above the crease of the eye, so the glossy sheen can be seen when your eyes are open

Big Blush

Tip: Sweep a pale pink blush a little higher than usual – over the top of the cheekbones, temples, and crease of the eye. Add a matching (or clashing) lip, and you’re good to go

Hints of Neon

Tip: A little can make a big statement. Add a dash of Neon Orange Liner to the outer corner of the eye, or a neon green shadow to the inner corner, for that fashion forward look

Coloured mascara

Tip: Going for bold emerald greens and punchy fuchsia pinks? Then keep the rest of your makeup simple so that it truly pops

Floating graphic liner

Tip: Trace the line first with a powder shadow – once happy with the placement, trace over the powder with the colour of choice

Powder Lip Staines

Tip: Using a firm lip brush, gently sweep a shadow right up to and slightly over the lip edge for a blurred, diffused look. Try experimenting with a powdered ombré shade by applying a deep pink to the middle of the lips. Once done, blend a lighter tone around the deep pink, and then finish off with an orange around the edge

Watercolour Eyes

Tip: Switch up traditional diffused charcoals and greys (smokey eyes) with pale pinks, lilacs and yellow for a modern twist on an absolute classic

Watch Hannah bring these beauty trends to life in her trends masterclass, which will be available to view from Thursday 18th March on the Samsung KX content hub.

LONDON, England –18th February 2021 – Shake up dinner time with the Samsung KX connected culinary experience; a snappy cooking demo hosted in collaboration with award-winning restaurant, Hoppers King’s Cross.

Famous for its Sri Lankan and South Indian cuisine, guests across the UK are invited to tune in for epic food inspiration with Hoppers Director, Karan Gokani, who rustles up signature dish, ‘Banana Leaf Bream’. Boasting a show stopping spicy fish supper, this recipe guarantees to get taste buds tingling.

This marks part one in the ‘Restaurants from Home with Samsung KX’ series, which will see local chefs and restaurateurs revealing how to create the nation’s top dine out dishes, powered by the latest Samsung technology, for viewers to try at home.

Karan demonstrates the seamlessness of connected cooking by remotely controlling the temperature of the Samsung Dual Cook Flex oven, thanks to the power of Samsung SmartThings.

Once the hard work is done, guests can expect mouth-watering snaps of his final dish captured using food mode with the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, a flagship for the bold that pushes the boundaries of what a smartphone can do. This cutting-edge new device offers a best-in-class epic camera experience, with Samsung’s most advanced pro-grade camera system, enabling users to capture stunning, studio-quality photos in various settings, or shoot and edit videos with a toolbox of new AI-powered features that elevate every shot.

Karan shares his top tips for enhancing the at-home Hoppers experience:

Compliment the spices of the fish dish with a zingy side salad, tossing the leaves with punchy flavours such as root ginger and fresh lime. Pair with a chilled bottle of dry Riesling for the ultimate finish.

If you’re going all out with three courses, ensure that you include a cold starter, keeping your Bream on a low temperature whilst you eat, and have a pre-prepared dessert. In fact, if you have a Samsung Dual Cook Flex , the dual door system allows you to cook two dishes at different temperatures so you can bake your sweet treat, whilst your main keeps warm!

If you are making this for a special occasion, you can elevate the setting with some bright florals, candles and focus on the finer details such as tying the cutlery into a bundle with ribbon for a focal point on your plate. Most importantly, have good music to set the mood.

LONDON, UK – January 14, 2021 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has unveiled the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, a flagship for the bold that pushes the boundaries of what a smartphone can do. The S21 Ultra 5G pulls out all the stops for those who want Samsung’s best-of-the-best with our most advanced pro-grade camera system and our brightest, most intelligent display. It takes productivity and creativity up a notch by bringing the popular S Pen experience to the Galaxy S Series for the first time[1].

“The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G raises the bar of what a smartphone can do, and with the new year we are bringing new innovation for Galaxy fans who want to stay one step ahead,” said Conor Pierce, Corporate Vice President for Samsung Electronics UK and Ireland.

“As we navigate through these challenging times, we know that connection is so important which is why we are delivering best-in-class features to our customers, including the largest screen in our S21 Series and the most powerful camera, packaged in a new premium design and powered by 5G. What’s more, for the first time we are bringing our much-loved S Pen to the Galaxy S21 Ultra for users who want to take their productivity and creativity to a new level. For those who need the very best technology for streaming, gaming and capturing content, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is the ultimate device”.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is the newest chapter in the Galaxy S Series’ decade-long legacy of delivering cutting-edge mobile experiences. It’s built for users who demand top-of-the-line technology to stay connected with the people and things that matter most. Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G joins the new Galaxy S Series of devices and takes every part of that S21 experience to the next level.

Incredible Innovation Housed in Unexpected Design

Galaxy S21 Series unveils a bold new style that sets it apart from other smartphones. It introduces an all-new, iconic Contour Cut Camera housing that seamlessly blends into the device’s metal frame for a sleek, yet striking, aesthetic. Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G available in Phantom Black and Phantom Silver and it is coated in a luxurious Deluxe Frosted Haze matte finish for an all-around sophisticated and timeless look. Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G also has three exclusive Samsung.com colourways – Phantom Titanium, Phantom Navy, and Phantom Brown and offers improved durability with Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus, the toughest Gorilla Glass yet.

Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is the largest member of the Galaxy S21 Series with an epic 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display[2]. It is our most intelligent screen yet. For the first time, users no longer have to decide between the smoothness of a 120Hz refresh rate and a Quad HD+ display — on S21 Ultra 5G, you can choose both. The screen’s refresh rate adjusts to the content you’re viewing from 10Hz to 120Hz to ensure you enjoy the best image, whilst stretching your battery life even further. Compared with the Galaxy S20, S21 Ultra 5G offers a 25% brighter picture[3] at a 1,500nits of peak brightness, the brightest on a Galaxy smartphone. With a 50% improved contrast ratio[4], it delivers crystal-clear, immersive images, even when outside. And like the Galaxy S21 5G and S21+ 5G, Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G has Eye Comfort Shield[5] to help reduce eye fatigue.

Empowering, Best-in-Class Epic Camera Experience

Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G delivers with our most advanced pro-grade camera system, so that you can capture stunning, studio-quality photos in various lightings and settings, or shoot and edit videos with a toolbox of new AI-powered features that elevate every shot.

It has a quad rear camera (ultra-wide, wide and dual tele-lenses) that features a new 108MP pro sensor, from which you can capture 12 bit HDR photos with 64 times richer colour and more than three times wider dynamic range[6], allowing you to capture pro-grade content. For the first time on a Galaxy smartphone, you can shoot in 4K at 60fps across all lenses including front and rear four lenses, so you can shift to a different perspective with the same quality. Plus, with a 12-bit RAW file option, you won’t miss a single detail when editing photos.

When zooming in on S21 Ultra 5G, you don’t have to worry about sacrificing clarity. The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G features 100x Space Zoom which is powered by Samsung’s first-ever Dual-tele lens system – one optical 3x and one optical 10x both equipped Dual Photodiode(2PD)– so you can capture crystal-clear shots no matter how far you are from the action.

Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G’s improved Bright Night sensor is Samsung’s biggest leap yet in low-light photography. With improved Night Mode, noise reduction and 12MP Nona-binning technology, you can capture challenging shots – like a dimly-lit room, or a landscape at night – quickly and with excellent quality.

Smart, Hyper-Fast Connections Across Devices

Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G continues Samsung’s legacy of delivering trailblazing technology like Ultra-wideband (UWB) and introduces new connectivity capabilities that will transform the way you interact with your devices.

Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G users expect the flagship smartphone experience to take creative expression and productivity to the next level. That’s why, for the first time on any S Series device, Samsung is bringing the fan favorite S Pen experience to the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G with Wacom’s technology[7]. From drawing to note-taking to editing photos and signing documents, now you can unlock the power of the S Pen on the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. Use an existing S Pen from a Galaxy Note or Galaxy Tab or purchase an S Pen separately on its own or with a compatible case.

For better and faster connectivity, Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is one of the first smartphones to support Wi-Fi 6E[8]. You will be able to enjoy more bandwidth and a faster internet connection[9], so you can stream and share content in the blink of an eye. With hyper-fast, ultra-low latency 5G[10], S21 Ultra 5G is built to provide fast video downloading, smooth video conferencing and streaming.

Thanks to the Ultra-wideband capabilities (UWB) embedded in Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G and S21+ 5G, you will be soon able to use your Galaxy S21 device to automatically unlock compatible car doors without pulling out your keys[11]. With the UWB-enabled Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G and Galaxy S21+ 5G, you can also use AR finder to visually guide you to lost items with SmartThings Find and drop virtual messages that let other Galaxy smartphone users know you need help searching for a lost item[12].

And with SmartThings on Android Auto[13], you can also use your Galaxy S21 Series to control smart devices in your home, from your car. By connecting your Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G to your Android Auto compatible car, you can turn on your lights or even raise the temperature of your thermostat before you return home, all from your car. It offers faster speed[14], advanced computing and greater energy efficiency. And when the battery gets low, Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G can reach a 50% charge[15] in just 30 minutes[16].

We rely on our smartphones more than ever, which is why protecting sensitive information is more important than ever. Galaxy S21 5G is secured by Samsung Knox Vault, Samsung’s own proprietary chipset level (SoC) security platform. By adding tamper-resistant secure memory to our secure processor, Samsung Knox Vault enables S21 5G to add a new layer of protection.

Galaxy S21 5G also introduces a new tool to protect and monitor your privacy. You can safely remove location metadata from photos and videos before sharing. With Galaxy S21 5G’s all-new Private Share function, you can also control who gets access to the content you send, and how long it’s available[17].

London, UK – 14 January 2021 – Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd today unveiled a gallery of content, shot entirely on the new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, by renowned international photographer Rankin. The experience saw Samsung and Rankin collaborate with British rapper, singer and songwriter Stefflon Don, in a photoshoot that paid tribute to the iconic female trailblazers of the 80s – those who inspired musicians like Stefflon Don, transformed culture, and paved the way for a new generation of visionaries.

Combining the spirit of the 80s with the energy of today’s social media, Rankin and Stefflon Don have playfully re-imagined a timeless era with stills, videos, and content for Instagram and TikTok. The colours, style and aesthetic of the shoot, was transformed through the tight lens of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.

A device that pushes the boundaries of what a smartphone can do, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G allowed Rankin and Stefflon Don to channel a new level of creativity and expression to share with audiences on social. Social media is driving a new artform, there is an entire generation of social media users interested in creating, engaging with and viewing experiences on their mobile devices. This project saw Rankin tap into this trend by using the powerful Galaxy device to create transformative content.

Rankin said “My creative process is rooted in exploring new techniques and methods to create revolutionary content. Working with Stefflon Don, Samsung, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, I had the opportunity to channel a new kind of creativity whilst still staying true to my ethos. I was doing what I love, right on a smartphone – creating, shooting, editing and producing content fit for social, in a move that diversified my work beyond what I imagined was possible. I’m also really proud that we could honour the inspirational legends of the 80s, who freely expressed their individuality and continue to inspire today’s young generation.”

Stefflon Don said ‘The artists of the 80s paved the way for musicians like me to succeed – it’s been a fantastic opportunity to work with Samsung and Rankin to pay tribute to their amazing style and energy.’

Using the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G’s advanced pro-grade camera and 8K Video Snap feature, Rankin was easily able to grab high-res photos from 8K video footage, so every vivid detail at the shoot was captured in a gallery of stills and videos to be easily shared on social channels. The new Director’s View let Rankin see, switch, and select the best shot to fully embody the 80s look and feel. He was able to capture video with the front and rear cameras at once for real-time reactions with Vlogger View, and preview or change the angle, zoom or go wide on muse, Stefflon Don without losing any action with Live Thumbnails. Plus, the 100x Space Zoom feature allowed for some playful, closer, and steadier shots throughout the photoshoot.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is the newest chapter in Galaxy S series’ decade-long legacy of delivering cutting-edge mobile experience. The series comes in three models to fit lifestyles.
